What happened to that BYU guy? | 6:56 a.m. July 6, 2009
You know, the guy who left BYU a year early for the draft? Anybody know where he is now? Probably should have stayed in school another year.

Boozer should play in the summer league and work on his defense. The good news is he'll make a great Matador when is career is over, OLE!

Brewer should be there working on his shot, along with CJ.

TRADE PLEASE!

He's in the same place  | 7:54 a.m. July 6, 2009
Plaisted is in the same place where the guy who stayed an extra year will be - Europe. At least Plaisted was drafted. He made the right call and is actually earning money to play. All Cummard got out of staying was a drop in draft position and one more year of misery.

Re: BYU Guy | 7:56 a.m. July 6, 2009
Actually the guy was Jonathan Tavernari. He was thinking about leaving but then decided not to leave early, but there was Lee Cummard and he is trying out for the suns.

He is playing for the Piston's summer league team...the team that drafted him 2nd round last year.

Plaisted was drafted by the Seattle Sonics (now Oklahoma City Thunder) then traded to Detroit.
He played some in Italy until he hurt his back and had surgery.

I'm a big fan of the RMR but I think after this past season of disappointing road losses, the Orlando League will be a good starting point for the new blood on the team. Somebody needs some mental toughness on this team. At home they are relaxed and confident, but lets see them perform on the road.
GO JAZZ!

Question | 1:10 p.m. July 6, 2009
EDUB @12:26 how are you going to see them perform when there is not a TV program that will carry the Orlando Summer Camp. Come on KSL, KJAZZ, KFAN and you other rags the fans would like to see what is happening in Orlando!!

One thing that probably didn't do the Rocky Mountain Review any favors was the Jazz slapping together rosters similar to this year's. James Augustine, Cedric Bozeman, Justin Reed, Jim Baron, Josh Duncan, Wes Mathews, Reyshawn Terry and Larry Turner. Wow. Does any thought go into assembling rosters with players with potential to make the Jazz, or even a D-League roster for that matter? Just a thought! Hard to draw any fans other then the real diehards.

No news is bad news | 9:44 p.m. July 6, 2009
So, the news here is draftees who'll sit on the bench, and opt-ins that people wish would've opted out, a "big contract" free agent getting no offers, while Dallas made an offer to Gortat and is trying to get Marion in a sign and trade.

Score that:
Cleveland, trying to improve
LA, trying to improve
Celtics, trying to improve
Dallas, trying to improve
Detroit, trying ti improve
Utah?
Utah?
Utah?
All I can hear is the crickets.

Maynor looked | 10:39 p.m. July 6, 2009
pretty good given the fact that no one knew the offense. I suspect he will look a lot better after 5 games and everyone kind of know what they are doing. Almost none of the Jazz players have played together before and it showed.

Suton looked good at times but he needs time to learn the offense and adjust to the speed of the game. If you are thinking about what to do next it slows you up. He seems to have potential but it is hard to evaluate until he gets more experience.

Where can I see the game that was streamed live earlier today? Has anyone uploaded it to You Tube? Help! I was still at work when they were playing. I need to watch the rookie!

Thx
