I'm very saddened by this news. He was an incredible competitor and like-able player from listening in on his interviews. He had a very nice career and I hope his family can find comfort while mourning their loss in such a tragic event. He was as tough as they come on the football field. Man, it shows how fragile life is and how even the toughest people can go down instantaneously with the pull of a trigger. I'm not too high on gun rights even though they've probably helped victims in rape and burglary cases but when it comes to cold blooded killers, I think guns ought to be banned. I don't need a gun to feel big. Hunting can be fun but there's too many wackos out there. Maybe banning hand guns would be good for our nation. If guys want to hunt animals with shotguns and rifles, go for it. Fishing is the outdoors sport most people enjoy the most anyway. I know I do.

I saw him play in his rookie season in Buffalo, it was the last game of the season and it was on a Christmas Eve I believe, they put him in when the game was out of hand. He was a tremendous competetor and I am sure, from what good I know he has done for charity and such he was a good man.

Of course we don't know the circumstances that led to this shooting, and it may not come out "Good", but he did many good things, and was an incredible athelete. My condolances go out to him and his family.
