Hmm. We're told that even under the best of conditions (i.e., in a hospital operating room) a general anesthetic such as this has a certain risk attached to it.

I liked Michael Jackson and still think he did so many good things for people. His music was great and his dancing was incredible never to be outdone. I feel bad for some of the challenges he faced especially with how he was treated by his father. But I feel worse about how everyone treated him "as a freak" due to his physical appearance. He didn't try to change his skin color on purpose. He really did have a skin disease. His hair was fake because the real stuff was burnt in the line of work (stage performance). And I think some people wanted a lot of cash which is why they accused him of being a child molester which was never proven to be true and I still think he's innocent. Michael wasn't a perfect human being but people need to give him a break. It must have been hard waking up and seeing himself as opposed to what he used to see as the "Man in the mirror". Everything he went through would be tough for any person to handle. Remember all the good things he did for others

I have nothing against MJ even though I was not a fan of his, but his fame and fortune is what got him in trouble. People of his status are often inundated with greedy demands and accusations meant to do harm and it is something those of wealth have to deal with. His biggest mistake was trying to be too nice.

The past decade was not friendly to him and it had a toll on his health. Many entertainers have problems of dealing with windfall wealth and the public interference in their lives. I think MJ was another victim that had a hard time trying to deal with it all. It only takes one incident or accusation to put people over the edge and their health declines. Hence the drugs and medications to deal with his health issues.

At 50 years old it seems a little extreme to try a comeback with the same energy and performances as a younger person. I think his desire to make an energetic comeback was more than his frailty would allow.

WHO CARES ? It's disgusting the millions of dollars being spent to idolize him...instead of buying a CD I am sending $20 to the Salt Lake Food Bank to make certain some child doesn't have to go HUNGRY !!! ask others to do the same
