Buddy, can you spare an IOU? | 11:09 a.m. July 3, 2009
One unintended benefit from this impending backruptcy is it will put a lot of bank-robbers out of business.

"Fill this bag with all your IOU's" just doesn't cut it.

We have a conservative success story here in California. We our taught our constitution establishes one citizen, one vote. We have voting welfare in California. It's designed so republicans don't lose their self esteem when they fail to sell their idea in the free market of ideologies. When it comes to our budget loser's votes count as double. This would be akin to letting Jazz baskets count double against the Lakers.

Conservative radio buses panicked listeners to Sacramento. They have us spend $52,000,000 we didn't have to recall Davis and bring in their new messiah Arnold.

Conservative obstructionist have made California as dysfunction as they made America's economy. Nobody ruins things better than conservatives: its a talent.

Now, Californian are suck paying $43,000,000 in interest payment just no these IOU's. You thought illegal were expensive. At least, illegal carry California's agricultural sector that contribute billions to California. Conservative just listen to am radio and whine.

I'll have an "A" Alex to block | 3:04 p.m. July 3, 2009
To Anonymous 12:53 That was about as incoherent a post as I've ever read. Ambiguous polarity. Few original thoughts. Poor syntax. Cliche ridden. No points tendered, no points made. It must be a talent.

Best stick with Wheel of Fortune.

Illegal? | 4:48 a.m. July 4, 2009
Isn't this like the state printing its own money in the form of IOU's is illegal to do? Only legal tender can be used for financial transactions according to our laws and the BEP. To start printing their own money in any form of an IOU is against the law. An IOU cannot be used for interstate, intrastate, or international spending. No state has the power to print is own money and IOU's as money violates their powers.

I think the BEP may be sitting back and waiting for some of these to be issued then jump in to action.

Maybe it's time for California to divide itself in to several separate states that are manageable entities. They are already divided, its just not official.

It's Bush's fault for bankrupting California! Has to be, I mean, look at the last 8 years. All you neocons' heads in the sands, where were you guys last 8 years? Obama "inherited" Californias financial mess and you guys wont give him a chance to fix things...
