If liberals relentlessly attacked Bush for nearly 8 years I reserve the next 4 for hating on Obama

I'm critical of Obama's policies. His policies will hurt this country more than Bush's policies. He is taking control from the citizens and giving it to politicians. His policies are taking us away from democracy. I'm not attacking the president, but I will attack his policies. You don't have to agree with everything he does just because you voted for him and now you don't want to look foolish.

These boards are irrelevant: A real job is what ever a person or company pays you, with cash or a check that does not bounce.

If these Boards where not relevant, then my Post Concerning Obama would get Posted more often then they do.

Also if these boards are irrelevent, Why, are you wasting your time writing about it.

Radical left? What about the rabid right? What is it about the DesNews and its readership? Same old tired arguments spewed again and again.

Who is this guy? Liberals ranted and raved against Bush from the beginning - the onslaught of criticism was heavy and constant. We've even got people still convinced that GWB - and not OBL - was the mastermind behind 9/11 (the same people who say Bush was an idiot who couldn't tie his shoes).

What comes around goes around. I'm not saying that all of the criticism of Obama is accurate or fair, but it's pretty hypocritical to now want to stifle free speech after 8 years of non-stop bashing of Bush, Cheney and more recently, Palin.

Oh, and there ARE real Republicans out here. I can't even imagine what the writer was trying to imply there.

This just in-

Obama has the lowest job approval rating in history.

33 percent against
31 percent for.
6 months in office.

No president has ever sunk that low.

Just in time for the 4th.
You're Irrelevant | 12:16 p.m. July 3, 2009
So you're posting on the third page of an irrelevant comment board. You must be a liberal getting paid.

I agree with the letter writer that we don't need the "out of left field" letters criticizing Obama on poins without basis.

There are too many legitimate points on which one can find fault with this president without having to resort to reaching for facts and conspiracy theories.
WHY | 4:37 a.m. July 14, 2009
You complain about the letters against Obama, but where where you when they complained about Bush?

In California they wrote plenty against Bush. They were not just against BUSH, but they were BUSH HATERS. That is the only reason OBama got in, because of the BUSH HATERS. Now they are sorry they were so short sighted. Even then what the Republicans put forth in McCain was scary also.

It is long past time for the Deseret News to stop printing these ridiculous letters from lunatics who act like President Barack Obama is the messiah. If you want to print letters that cause us all to evaluate his policies and cause healthy debate, fine. But stop the letters from the wacko Democrats who still think President Bill Clinton was the greatest thing since sliced bread.

There is almost no such thing as a true Democrat, so why do so many of us still give our allegiance?

I don't want to say anything bad about Obama...

But, I sure would like to see Mitt Romney & Sarah Palin run the next time around. They would make a great team.

Then we could think more kindly toward Obama.
