How great is this for state football? Lets hope the Utes and Cougars both maintain their winning ways. The games are so much more exciting when both teams have legitimate BCS aspirations.

Go Cougars!

Weird thing is, if they want to win a national championship why did they go to BYU. If they want a good education or a good experience then BYU is a good choice. I am not a BYU hater like a lot of you but there is not a chance any of them are going to win a championship at BYU.

The impact of this kid signing has already played out with 2 blue chippers signing on with him. Apo decommits from Texas? Wow - this Heaps kid is pretty persuasive. And Stout is the #5 Middle Linebacker in the Nation. Looks like the Cougs defense got a much needed boost as well.

Heaps chances of winning a NC with BYU is hire than it is with Washingtons program. Besides if the kids are good enough and they get enough of them, then they bring the National Champion title to them selves. But its not all about a National Champion ship. If thats all Heaps was after he could have accepted Oklahomas offer.

I must say...congrats! I've looked online at his highlight video. Terriffic arm and athleticism. The kid de-committing from Texas to BYU?

I just experienced the "un-expected" Heaps said.

Look forward to his first game against Utah whether it is at Rice Eccles or Lavell Edwards Stadium.

ALERT TOM HOLMOE, I would not schedule Univ of Washington anytime soon, within the next 4-8 years (depending on mission, red shirt, etc)

This is music to my ears after several disapointments over the last few years in recruiting. This could be a recruiting class to remember. To also get the kid from Texas and California that is exciting for Cougar fans.

Is Apo really a blue chip signing? He is a 3 star on scout and ranked near 60th in the receiver position. I thought you had to be a five star commit to really be considered a blue chip
