Joe was a long time friend and riding partner. We raced several 24hr events as a team and participated in the MASS series on the east coast. He loved to ride and we would always talk about our next mountain bike outing. Joe was a great guy and incredible family man. He leaves behind a wife (Beth) and two young daughters (Syndey & Josie). My sincerest sympathy for him and his family.

Joe was my cousin and a great biker. He was always prepared and would never have done anything to put himself or his family in harm's way. This is a horrible tragedy for the entire family and it is still unfathomable that this could happen to him. Our hearts go out to Beth (his wonderful wife), and Josie and Sydney, his precious little girls who adored him.

I watched Joseph grow from a little boy to a most outstanding young man. My heart is saddened by this very tragic event. Beth, Sydney and Josie are in my prayers.
