Another glaring trend that showed it's ugly head was all the missed chances by Yuri. Is this guy ever going to finish an opportunity? Too many touches trying to set the ball up perfectly for a shot.

His one-touch cross to Robbie was well placed and he earned a deserved assist for that.

We won 4-1, if we say here at nit-picked ever little bad thing, we'd start sounding like RSL fans. :)

Great result last night.

Lighten up man! WE WON the GAME! End of story!
Movsisyan was very active all night and help set up chances for Findley and others. Let's look at the positives not the negatives. We need to get behind the fellas! Mathis also had a nice game as well.
That corner kick was a thing of beauty!

I would get mad at yura if he was missing the net, but his shots are being blocked, and for the most part they require pretty good saves on the keeper.

It's obvious that the only part of my post that was read was the first paragraph.

So I should call Findley's second goal outstanding because the keeper played the ball into his heels with no defenders around, then left his feet in an attempt to make up for his blunder. Yes, Findley definitely has great ball handling skills in one-on-ones with keepers laying prone on the ground and no one else around.

Winning the game was great; losing games when opportunities are missed or miscued will cost RSL dearly in future games.

Was it a tie? | 12:14 p.m. April 3, 2009
In soccer, even if one team score more goals, don't the still call it a tie so everyone will feel good?

I was really happy to see Robbie's response to last weeks game. I'm not gonna lie, he was awful. He had no first touch, and was disappearing for parts of the game. But last night he was a beast. He was all over the field trying to get to every ball he could. If he could put out that kind of performance consistently he'll be an all-star. (To the tune of, You are my sunshine) You are my Findley, my Robbie Findley. You make me happy when skies are gray. And when it's pouring, you keep on scoring. Please don't take my Findley away!

Sorry | 1:17 a.m. April 4, 2009
to hurt your brain. It's more that sometimes neither team deserves to win, or that no matter what you do, you can't. Much like life, and it's hard to understand from Mommy's basement, it's better that way. Wait, sorry I forgot, let's go pointy pad ball, and don't play defense lurp ball, or even better take me out to the stand and be fat ball game.
