The headline is completely wrong.

It should read "Beck seeks to disaffect and aggrieve Americans"!

More polarization that will be shunned again and again each Election time.

Anyone who confines themselves to an ideology or political party is an IDIOT. I love listening to Beck and his FOX friends every bit as much as I love listening to the counterpoints expressed on MSNBC. I value opinions and information in my decision making process. Open-mindedness and a desire for facts and information should always trump stubborn political ideology from either side. I was dissapointed in Bush far more for what seemed to be an inability to seek and analyze ALL the information than for any decision he eventually made. I look for intelligence, curiosity, and openness in a leader - and then the courage to lead once a decision has been reached. All political voices are crucial to that decision making process. Its not about who is right - they are all right and important to the PROCESS of making informed, intelligent decisions!!

I am a retired great grandma from a manufacturing co. I have watched Glen Beck for two yrs now, from Ohio to Illinois. You know some people just don't know and wouldn't know the truth if you talked till your blue in the face. And they certainly don't want to hear it. Glen Beck is a God send to so many people that are interested in the truth. Glen Beck has had many struggles thru his life and has bounced back, stronger each time. I just love him and his family, Glen if you are reading this, You are our voice for America!!! Thank you

Beck is a PHONEY, who attempts to MILK 9/11 now, and yet he stated in 2006 how he hated 9/11 families.
How anyone could respect this MORON, needs mental health profiling themselves.

I like the is guy. Great job done!
Karl | 2:52 p.m. April 2, 2009
Glenn is refreshing. We enjoy his humor, but more importantly, we agree with all the disdain he has for what's going on in government.

I would rather watch and listen to Glenn than watch and listen to Barney F.. Who is a total embarrasment to me as I'm from MA. Barney and the rest of the Commies who represent us have pushed this country to the edge of a cliff.

It is they who should fall over that cliff. ASAP

I love Beck so much, I want him to be the father of my children!

But then I am a man, so that might be a little wierd.

912 has little to do with 911 except the feeling of "coming together" that existed the days after 911. Something that a lot of Americans have forgotten.

It's a coming together of people that love this country and do not like what is happening to it. It's a tea party for the 21 century
Glenn Fan in NW | 8:17 a.m. April 3, 2009
All you Utah "so-called liberals" really crack me up. You should come live under the socialist flag in the NW (WA or OR) and enjoy 12% unemployment, the highest taxes in the US, and dangerous criminals being released into the population at random by weak-kneed judges who were appointed by liberal politicians.

Both Glenn Beck and Lars Larson are from the NW and have seen the silliness from a left wing run amok and unchallenged. True, we need real Democrats who care about the country. But what we have here in the NW is absolute lunacy.

A liberal in Utah is not the same as a liberal in the NW. They are far more radical and militant here.

There is nothing except ATTACKS of Democrats and Liberals on the 912 web site.

HOW IS THAT "coming together"????

You, Beck and all the rest are lying jerks!

Wasn't eight years of the Bush Administration enough to ruin this country? I can't believe that seemingly rational people refuse to see that the philosophy of the Republican Party is destructive to the nation. Doesn't the Bible admonish us to always care for the least of us and work to help others rather than just get and spend for us? We need to work to make our circle of love bigger and more inclusive instead of assuming the "me versus them" mentality. There is always a time when each of us becomes a "them."

@7:24

Don't strain your reptilian brain stem... cupcake trying to seperate 9/12 from 9/11.
THAT is the dumbest statement ....EVER.
It was the National,(INTERNATIONAL) tragedy which brought the world together, if you forget that, shame on you.
Your tea parties are beyond ridiculous. Trying to capitolize on a real act of courage, where the original rebels faced DEATH for their actions, and you dweebs might get a tea bag stain on your DOCKERS.
Carry on, you just make Republicans LESS popular, and more of a freak show.
Realist | 9:41 a.m. April 3, 2009
Beck said he hates what SOME 9-11 Families are doing...not all??...and frankly, SO DO I!
conservative relay | 10:00 a.m. April 3, 2009
Nothing makes me laugh more than these cast-a-ways who follow the comical promptings of john stewart, keith olbermann, dave letterman, katie couric and the other leftist t.v evangelists who's target market is the emotionally damaged, hyper sensitive, dope smoking life dropouts who where never able to compete in the free market place because they had nothing to offer...Then they, without listening or watching for 2 minutes, conduct their ignorance and attack the modern day Thomas Paines of our nation (Glenn, Rush, Hannity) who are the only representatives of common sense left in this experiment recently gone horribly wrong thanks to hyper sensitivity, selfishness, laziness and ignorance!! How long is it going to take for you zealots to realize that those who listen to talk radio and Fox News ARE the ones who make this nation work and that Glenn, Sean and Rush are only relays for the anger and frustration which is about to surface...
Anonymous | 10:10 a.m. April 3, 2009
@ Realist
what their family members didn't die as well, as those "GOOD" 9/11 families?

you folks sicken me, as callous and hateful as Ann Coulter

Conservative relay

I is So "askaird" you are gonna relay Rush-Beck-Hannity-Malkin-Coulter-Savage deep and meaningful messages along some telegraph which goes from one stupid poorest county in Appalachia to the next stupid poorest county in Appalachia.
THATS all that is left of the RNC.

I can see that our public education system did real good!

This post needs to die soon. Glen Beck is awesome-leave it at that.

I thank God every day that Utah has only 5 electoral votes.

Phew.
Hey Laura | 2:03 p.m. April 3, 2009
I am glad to see the Bush administration gone. Probably the worse president since Carter. But, Obama deserves criticism because he is not being fisically responsible. In regards to your Biblical refrence that we are to take care of the least of us, have you heard of Obama's plan to stop providing a tax break for charitable giving once it reaches a certain point. Maybe the right wingers are right and he is just going to take from the haves and give it to the have nots. If were forced to give through taxation are we being charitable? Did you know that studies have shown that Republicans give more to charity then Democrats?
MJH79 | 2:26 p.m. April 3, 2009
Hey Laura-I agree with you, but you need to learn to spell or you will sound like Anonymous and his Appalachian education.
suzyk | 2:57 p.m. April 3, 2009
To Bro Joseph...my goodness you are a negative man. Wow...what did you eat for breakfast or lunch for that matter? Why don't you try your comments again and give it a little more thought of how you are projecting yourself as an individual instead of bad-mouthing Glen Beck, a man you do not know personally. How easy it was for you to judge. Shame on you...
Anonymous | 3:57 p.m. April 3, 2009
@ Hey laura
There was a preferential tax break of 39% for rich giving to charities, which was above what an average citizen got when they gave to charities. Now instead of 39% rich folks will STILL GET 29%. So NO tax break is being taken from RICH folks (republican rich or democratic rich...btw.)it was merely reduced. IF the only reason you donate to charity is for a big tax break, you sound pretty selfish.
People who earn LESS than 20,000 per year give more to charities than the rich, so I doubt your statement Republicans give more than Democrats is true. You can post your statistics if you have proof, along with a link to verify.

If you have a problem with my spelling I could express myself to you in pictures, but I doubt they'd publish the links here.
To anonymous / 3:57pm | 4:51 p.m. April 3, 2009
I have to admit I do not have the source to quote on Republicans giving more then Democrats. I am confident that I am right from things I have heard and read in the past. Since you are asking for sources from which information comes from could you provide your source indicating that those who earn less then 20,000 per year give more then the rich? I would be very surprized if this is true. Maybe they give more in terms of the percentage of their income? I have been involved in fund raising efforts for charity and it has been my experience that more money comes from corporations and the so called rich.

I do not give to charity for the tax break. However, getting a tax break allows me to give more.

I believe that the priority for many corporations and the rich in there giving is less about the needy and more about their image and the ability to sale themselves or their products. However, I also believe that there are many with a philanthropic agenda who want to help there fellow man. Just because some like having a tax break does not make them selfish.

Do think that you are the only one who has had an original thought? From the frequency of your posts, it would appear so. Once someone said that God gave two ears and one mouth so that people could listen twice as much as they talked. What a Novel idea!

There aren't a FINITE number of posts, my posts don't limit ANYONE else from posting. MY thoughts aren't the majority in Utah, so many other posters REPLY to me being gay, so I answer them.

The Republicans will roar back to power because, simply put, the liberal/socialistic model doesn't work in the real world. It rapidly becomes corrupt and the brightest and most productive move on or out, or simply give up on doing anything extra because it doesn't profit them.

I wish Obama and his team every success because it's in our country's best interest. But I'm predicting a slide for the Dems in the mid-terms in 2010 and a much bigger loss in 2012.

Long live the values and priciples of 912 . Bella Pelosi just added thousands to the rolls of Tea Party participants by calling them fat cats and an astro turf revolution. The Calif debt of 48 Billion proves the result of liberal spending-- and thats when times were good. Long live Beck and the 912 project. Time to act is now. Let's throw the bums ( Dem and repub ) out of office

I was an acquaintance of Glenn Beck in Tampa right after 9/11 (he was in my home ward). He is the real deal; nothing fake about him. Those who don't like him find the TRUTH painful, apparently. More power to him! He is succeeding dramatically and that speaks volumes. Great to see him keep the Libs on the defensive, where they should be with their shenanigans. We love you on AFN in Baghdad, Glenn!!! Keep up your excellent work.

you should be embarrassed (embarrassed). what a pity, your thinking is so immature. not everyone does or can serve in the military. that person was honoring those who did, (supposedly you). i felt honored that he should represent us. politics is blinding all of us these days. stay cool and feel free, not angry.
