I trust Glen Beck and watch his show every day that I can. He needs to be on later in the evening so he will reach more viewers. I don't want the government to give me anything. I have always worked.

Re Crusoe | 7:17 p.m. March 31, 2009
I gave you what he's doing that's unconstitutional. I never said they were forced to take the bail-out money. What I did say is that this administration forced the CEO out. The government LOANED that money out. YOUR president forced the CEO of a PRIVATE company out of a job. Show me where in the constitution it says they can do that. Wait, it expressly says they CAN'T do that. Your response said nothing about what I said. A whole lot of talking with nothing being said. The whole stimulus shouldn't have happened in the first place. Bush was wrong with that, and the current president is doing a whole lot worse. Is this the change we really wanted?

who is Beck? | 7:43 p.m. March 31, 2009
There used to be a Beck on Headline News but they pulled him off air because of poor ratings.

Is the comment counter broken or are there really 1,600 comments on Glenn Beck?
Constitutional questions | 8:32 p.m. March 31, 2009
Is it constitutional for Congress to set pay structures for all Bank employees? Is it constitutional to put a 90% tax on bonuses of a specific few? Is it constitutional to print money that we cannot pay back in our lifetime? Is it constitutional to fire a CEO of a private company?
Maybe it is can you tell me where it is written? I cannot seem to find it in my copy of the Constitution of the United States of America.
Anonymous | 8:57 p.m. March 31, 2009
Constitutional questions

The printing money is easy,,,,yes he can
Obama didn't fire the CEO of GM, he made it conditional for further funds, the CEO step down.
Congress can tax at what ever rate they choose, and that has ONLY passed the House, it hasn't passed the senate and probably won't, and Obama doesn't control what the House of representatives passes.

Obama DID help her with her mortgage - THAT is the problem. And yes, everybody who did vote for him is THAT stupid.

==========================================

um, i believe it was a REPUBLICAN congresswoman that gave that woman and her family a home to live in FOR FREE. the house wasn't being used by the congresswoman and the lady needed a home for her family. it was the right thing to do and i applaud charity like that. do you disagree with that?

as for Crusoe's comment, it's already been refuted quite well, so i don't need to repeat what has already been said. nothing was forced on anyone, period.

that's the problem with people who are in love with guys like Beck and Rush. you listen to what they say without knowing if it's fact or fiction and just assume your messiahs are right and then get outraged and it's gotten so bad that people are talking about marching on Washington to overthrow the gubment. well i'm in DC right now and i'd love to sit back and watch you try. pure entertainment.
thank you | 7:29 a.m. April 1, 2009
Thank you on the behalf of Mr. Beck...

BECK MUST BE DOING SOMETHING RIGHT TO HAVE SO MANY PEOPLE ON THE LEFT AFTER HIM!!! Fabulous!!

Steve Colbert is a fool, a comedian. He's been on O'reiley and admitted he's nothing but a comedian and usually doesn't know what he's talking about..

WHAT A WONDERFUL COMPLIMENT!!! THANKS!!

WE LOVE BECK
Di | 8:13 a.m. April 1, 2009
Beck is great and I feel the same way he does. I just see socialism coming on like a bulldozer. You cannot give everybody everything or soon everyone stops working, then we're forced to do as the gov't says. People, wake up!!!
@Steve Colbert | 9:06 a.m. April 1, 2009
He's a comedian on comedy central. He used to be funny.

I watch GB every night. FOX was very clever to get this guy. For those commenting that he is a nut, etc. you don't have to watch him. That is your choice. At least for the moment. When Obama and his band of "no tax paying" blood suckers get through with this nation, we will all be watching re-runs of his inauguration! It will be the only thing on "national" tv.
To: Crusoe from JLL | 9:43 a.m. April 1, 2009
Uh, just look at the 1600+ previous posts for a start. Of course you will need to exclude the few boneheaded comments from people like yourself.

The Beck tv show is better than the banter with Stu on radio. Stu is okay, I just like the TV better.

also, has anyone read the contract with GM and the government...a guy brought up a fact that on page 7, there were regulations set what would happen...and firing the CEO or anyone else were not there..and Mr. Puppet has no legal authority to do so.

Neapolitano needs to be watched...badbadbad politician..BAD

GO BECK!!

That was yesterday, on to other sites!!!! Better stuff goin on. What a great response!! Beck will soon be #1 over O'reiley.

Voice of the ??? | 11:02 a.m. April 1, 2009
I'm tired of people ripping on Becks. He provides a valuable service by giving voice to the very large group of Americans who have a phobia of higher education, refuse to sift through multiple media outlets, and want to magically know exactly what our founding fathers would have to say about complex economic theory. P.S. He cries so you know he is sincere.

Imagine my surprise at the paper printing this story. I appreciate Beck's show for this reason it allows you to "think" then study our History. I truly respect his principles. He honors the fact that President O'Bama is this Nations President and fights only the issues that challenge the 912 belief. Never does he advocate the breaking of the law but moreover he allows us an opportunity to vocally challenge that which does not advance the cause of feedoms that were issued us by our forefathers. Respect with Principals your right to disagree. A refreshing show.

A bunch of brain-dead conservatives! Sour-grapes hysteria after having lost the government in the last election!

Whaaa! Whaaa! Poor little babies!

You have no response to people like Crusoe, so you resort to silly little pep speaches, predicting that "someday" the problems will come and convince all the "liberals" that they were wrong.

These little promises are no different than Rush Limbaugh's stupid comment about hoping Obama (and the United States of America) FAIL just to prove to the world that the CONSERVATIVE ideology is RIGHT! How American is that? How patriotic is that? You are all a bunch of hypocrites who have NO answers for the problems this country faces, and YOU KNOW IT!

That is why Beck, Hannity, Rush and all the rest spend all their time picking at NITS and GROUSING over nothing! Like a bunch of spoiled babies throwing a tantrum because they didn't get chosen to play on the Government team!

GOP = Grousers Objecting to Progress
To Crusoe: From JLL | 3:42 p.m. April 1, 2009
Ok, let's start with the preamble Crusoe:

"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union"

"establish justice"
(as long as it does not apply to the likes of Barney Frank, Tim Geitner, etc),

"insure domestic tranquility,"
(by advancing legislation to disarm America's citizens)

provide for the common defense
(by allowing terrorists out of jail to regroup and attack us again),

"promote the general welfare" (by stealing from the hard workers in this country to distribute it to the hardly working and non working in this country)

"and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity,"
(Blessings come from God and no where else. The left wants to remove God and establish a secular society-- so therefore, we won't be trying to "secure the blessings")

"ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
(as long as we are subjects under the new world order of course)

Can he go to jail for it? Maybe not....yet.
Is he moving us away from the true intent of our beloved constitution? A resounding yes!!

Anonymous | 4:08 p.m. April 1, 2009
Beck isn't ticking off this Progressive, I've never watched his show. The only clips I see of him is on COMEDY SHOWS ridiculing him.
Crusoe | 4:41 p.m. April 1, 2009
To JLL,

Can I call you "stretch"? It fits what you have done to the Constitution. Your diatribe resembles the idiotic type of thing Glenn Beck does. Have you seen his silly 9 Principles and 12 Values? I sensed you were a kindred idiot with Beck.

Frank and Geitner were not confirmed. Justice.

A DISarmed citizenry DOES promote domestic tranquility.

The "terrorists" were never convicted. YOU would be violating the Constitution (Article V Section 3) to keep them locked up!

"'promote the general welfare' (by stealing from the hard workers..."

Oh, c'mon, how ridiculous are you going to get? Article I Section 9 and the 16th Amendment grant the power to tax, including incomes. YOUR absurd, elementary-school characterization is just laughable!

You reveal yourself as a backwoods, uneducated, red-neck ignoramus fanatic. Why don't you put your time to better use by locking yourself up in your bomb cellar and eating your food storage! The rest of us will work out civilizations' problems and never miss you!
Crusoe | 5:05 p.m. April 1, 2009

Pay no attention to Curose. He has his interputation, it's twisted, but his view. He trolls sites looking for someone to talk with...because he's in his bomb shelter, and no one misses him. Anyway this site is supposed to be about Glem Beck.

Beck sure has buried those other cable shows.

Is this an old site. I think I clicked the wrong day. Bye. And don't
t worry about curusoe, no one is interested in him, just don't respond. It won't matter what you say he's one of those. Notice he finally gets to the name calling..typical

Yes I know about Crusoe. As a very educated, white woman who lives in the Southwest and works in the securities industry (bad, evil people that we are!), I was just looking to see how quick Crusoe would come swinging down from the trees banging his coconuts! He/she sure delivered a load of tripe---just as expected. Beck is the awesome, and that is the TRUTH!
Crusoe | 8:46 p.m. April 1, 2009
Aha! JLL reveals her true colors! A Bernie Madoff wannabe who aspires to such greed that she is willing to fight against regulations of ANY kind!

But you still have not shown where ANYTHING that Obama and the current Administration is doing is unConstitutional!

...still waiting...!

What a great country we began with. Anyone who understands the principles and values that our beautiful country was founded on, then places them side-by-side with how our society stacks up today, should cry. That's what Glenn does. Anyone who insinuates that his tears are fake is past feeling, and I bet you don't cry about anything. Shame on you. If our country fails, it will be because of people like you. Thank you Glenn, for giving blood, and keeping our country's heart pumping. Stay strong. You are NOT alone.
JLL back at you Crusoe | 9:49 p.m. April 1, 2009
Maybe you should learn what "unconstitutional" means first before stay up all night "waiting"

As per Webster:

Main Entry: unconstitutional
Function: adjective
not according or consistent with the constitution of a body politic (as a nation) <an unconstitutional infringement on rights
