I like Mr Beck. I hope his show does well.

I wish that Fox would move Greta out of the 10pm spot and replace her with Glenn Beck.
America Needs Glenn Beck | 1:41 p.m. March 30, 2009
America needs Glenn Beck. I don't agree with everything he argues but I will say I am sure glad to have Glenn who provides a voice of constitutional conservatism in a sea of liberal socialism. The counter-balance is so important especially with the liberal lefties ruling the TV and radio waves for the most part. Liberalism is "un-American". Truly, those far left nut's do NOT come close to representing the kind of red-blooded , patriotic fiber that built this country. Beck is needed whether you agree with him or not.

To the eighteen-year old, bespectacled, screechy illegal-immigrant anarchists currently online demanding free community college - try Columbia, SA. Lovely place to sell your potions. Let me give you a potion: there will be no 'one world government', we will desolve the United Nations third-world obsessed wealth-redistribution fiasco, and you can get a job and pay for your own education in your own native country, for which we Americans will be happy to provide transportation for your imminent return.

Just a few "clues" as food for thought! A plumber is asked a question by a presidential candidate! The plumber then asks HIS OWN question! (He then is subject to a huge "investigation"!) And "attempts" are made to destroy or smear his character! By Presidential underlings! With the help of the "leftist" media!) A presidential candidate is connected to a the "communist"! Ayers! And a "preacher" that damn's America! Wright! The candidate makes a Freudian slip? Saying he is Islamic! And the "media" is barely interested! When "others" mention it THEY are branded as the "extremists"! What kind of country you want folks?? FREEDOM of SPEECH for COMMUNISTS and their PROPONENTS! But for those that do not agree? They MUST BE SILENCED???

i have been listening to Glenn Since he first came on the air after 9-11. I love his honesty and humor. If anyone hasn't watched him please do, you will be amazed at the insight glenn has

Glenn is attacked because he speaks the truth.YOU ARE ALL SHEEP
MD | 1:46 p.m. March 30, 2009
He's become popular in less than 2 mos of starting his show in FNC, and that means people are watching and listening... you better watch Daniel Hannan's speech in France (type Daniel Hannan in youtube) and he also interviewed this guy... the USA will be the future UK if we don't do something? Can't we larn from other nation's mistakes?
Henry O. | 1:48 p.m. March 30, 2009
You conservatives don't get it and you never will. None of us is smart enough to make important decisions. Only the government can make the tough choices that will make our lives better. Barack Obama is smart enough to run every department in our government by himself. If we would just let Obama do our thinking for us, we would be in Paradise.
Lec | 1:49 p.m. March 30, 2009
I never read the New York Times but I saw Glenn Becks name and I READ IT FOR THE FIRST TIME! Good job Glenn!
DC | 1:49 p.m. March 30, 2009
Our country is fading fast, lost upon a sea of immorality. Can judgment be far behind? I like Glen shed tears because we as a nation are guilty without remourse. God help us.
Jerry G | 1:50 p.m. March 30, 2009
Glen Beck is both passionate and entertaining. A little over the top at times. But he expresses the anger and frustration that a lot of Americans feel today about where this nation is heading.
fooddude | 1:51 p.m. March 30, 2009
You know, the tax free day in America is around the middle of July. That means over half of my year is spent working JUST TO PAY MY TAXES! I like the guy. If he can find a way to unite people that think like we do, then,... by god, we might have a chance yet...
RedShirt | 1:53 p.m. March 30, 2009
To "Larry | 1:34 p.m." Glenn has been saying those things, and more for the past year. He has been pointing out the pending collapse for over 2 years.
Carroll | 1:53 p.m. March 30, 2009
Substance aside, I admit that I am occasionally, mildly entertained by his radio show, until he starts repeating the same dooms day stuff over and over, but his tv show is so amatuerish and virtually unwatchable. It's very disjointed and even bizarre at times...for example, he'll be doing an interview with someone, and while the person is talking, you can see him chatting with someone else off camera or making silly faces etc. Jim Rome is another one who I LOVE on the radio, but find him to be very stiff and unbecoming on tv. Maybe I just don't get it, but some people are just better off on radio.
Ifticar | 1:54 p.m. March 30, 2009
Conservatives radio and TV commentators who attract significant audiences are soon labeled "dangerous" by the left. Their next act is to try to suppress those dangerous voices. The sad thing is that lefties are entirely serious and can't see the irony in their dangerous, free speech limiting acts.
Gator | 1:55 p.m. March 30, 2009
I believer President Obama gave under $500. a year to charity before he was running for President. VP Joe Biden and his wife gave less than $500. a year. I am retired and gave twice as much as they did before they were running for President and Vice President. When I was working I gave over $3000. per year while those two who want to help so much were giving about $150. per year. Now if CMORE had it right wouldn't you think that President Obama and Vice President Biden would have been giving more. President Bush and Laura were giving over $30,000. per year. Guess that shows who gives the money and its not liberals but conservatives.

Buttars and Rudzeka love Beck and Rush. Nothing else needs to be said.
Never, ever, accuse AM listeners of rational thought.
VONBLUE | 1:56 p.m. March 30, 2009
***To Thinker:

Like Hitlers NSDAP, here Obama seeks to eliminate all opposition and micromanage/govern alone as a dictatorship. What else can you call it; Obama ordered the firing of a man working for a private corporation, similar to the Nazis dealings with organized labor and corporations so many years ago.

Many idiots now as then thought Hitler was a Communist too. Hitler wasn't a Communist and neither is Obama.

Obama has more in common with the N.S.D.A.P. than many want to admit.

Read the 25 points of the N.S.D.A.P. and you tell me how similar his policies are with the old Nazi party.

Victor | 1:56 p.m. March 30, 2009
You know the truth when you hear it. The question is "Will the American People lay down like the German people of the 1930's? Or will they take action to remove the threat to the Constitution by decimating the Democratic Socialist Party?
Hennypenny | 1:57 p.m. March 30, 2009
""It's a show for people who feel they belong to an embattled minority that is disenfranchised and cut off," he said.

Frum is a fool...Conservatives ARE cut out, and off the public forum, by the media and a GOP that has the smarts of a stump, and he honor of a liberal Journalist.

ExMoDon | 12:14 a.m. March 30, 2009

Glenn Beck is a nut and a liar. The more he talks, the better!!

This is how they work folks. I'm on the first page of the comment section and here we go. I couldn't believe the count of pages containing comments and I will read a few more, but I bet they are filled with similar ExMoDon's. It's what they do and have been doing from Reagan to Gingrich, to Bush and to Palin. It's the same ole, same ole tired BS meant to denigrate anyone and everyone on the right.

I'm glad to know that folks are waking up to this nonsense. I'm also proud to be a member of a party that would be outraged if President Bush were to try to do anything near what President Obama is doing in the public sector. We as a party would run President Bush out on a rail. President Obamas supporters will sink with him and never admit to making a mistake.

Thanks Glenn. Keep up the good work and duck the jabs and let them roll off your back.
Ben | 1:59 p.m. March 30, 2009
Alex Jones is Paul Revere, not Glen Beck...
T'bird | 2:00 p.m. March 30, 2009
In just two months, the Obama administration has taken us a long way toward a socialistic country.
Beck may get carried away from time to time, but he at least provides the electorate a counter voice.
Try listening to both sides and think about it rather than just a visceral reaction.
Linda In New York | 2:01 p.m. March 30, 2009
You go Glenn!! We are with you 100% !
Giving Obama a chance is like giving a pyranna a chance. He will gobble up everything in site and let the "Government "run it! How inept! Can the buraracy run anything?? "OUr money and The government running it. What a joke if not so sad!
George P. | 2:02 p.m. March 30, 2009
I love Glenn Bek and his show,we need more people like him.
marsneedsh2o | 2:04 p.m. March 30, 2009
The problem is the number of disaffected, aggrieved Americans is increasing with each passing day of this Administration...
Tired | 2:05 p.m. March 30, 2009
I'm tired of the name calling...every time a liberal can't answer intelligently...out comes the name calling. If you don't like Glenn, don't listen. I don't like Obama but have to hear him daily. At least you have a choice.

We do surround you and you will be aware of us soon if you aren't already. There are many of us that think the same as Glenn...open your eyes & mind! Read the 5000 Year Leap, it will scare the crap out of you.
mikeg67 | 2:05 p.m. March 30, 2009
Gator, 1:55 - Right on!!!

You can add John Kerry to that list and most Lib's as a matter of fact - very poor givers. Only in the year he ran for the presidential nomination - he jumped up to $15,000. Woop-Tee-Doo for A man worth 10's of millions.

This is the best way to understand the giving hearts of Lib's - NOT.
RationalGeezer | 2:05 p.m. March 30, 2009
Daniel Hannan for President of the USA!

As long as the US can suffer under an Ineligible-Affirmative-Action-Usurper-in-Chief, why not choose a foreign-born non-citizen with real leadership talents? I nominate Daniel Hannan, a British Member of the European Parliament.

Like the current Ineligible-Affirmative-Action-Usurper-in-Chief O'Bama, Hannan is a British citizen and is not natural born of the United States (of America).
abi | 2:06 p.m. March 30, 2009
WE LOVE BECK!!. At our office we listen to his show everyday. It is nice to share an opinion and not be told what we think...or only get part of the story. The news in general seems to be lacking in honesty and coverage.

When the "little" man no longer has a job...then there will no longer be money to give out to the people who REFUSE to get an education, REFUSE to get a job, REFUSE to get a brain....and then we can all learn to speak Chinese.

Obama is NOT the Messiah...
HE IS the "ANTI-CHRIST."

Sheena | 2:08 p.m. March 30, 2009
He makes much more sense that Rachel Madcow.
Lou | 2:08 p.m. March 30, 2009
I always been taught to examine an issue from both sides and then make an informed decision. I've always been amazed at so-called Liberals. They are the most anti-liberal people in the world. To them, no ideas are worth listening to except their own. I say to them "Hey! Read a book about other ideas occasionally. You just might learn something!" I highly recommend Glenn Beck in that regard. Open your minds! You may not agree but at least consider another opinion!
Gene in Florida | 2:10 p.m. March 30, 2009
The things he says reminds me of the statements made by people like Thomas Paine, Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln. They lived in times of social upheaval, but stood firmly on their beliefs and carefully chose the words they used. They knew the full cost of their words, but said and wrote them anyway. Paine and Jefferson's words could easily have cost them their lives and for Lincoln they did. It's very hard for people who have so few deep held beliefs and convictions to understand those of us who do. I for one am praying for a revival of the patriot spirit they had. I may live to see it with the help of the current congress.

I was raised on a farm, served in Viet-Nam, worked my way through three university degrees, teach in public school and part-time for a community college, obey the law, pay my taxes, and take care of my family. So why is that loudmouth, Dr. Laura-ish little prince Glenn Beck yelling at me?

I love FOX News, but, Lord! Why this goof? He compromises an otherwise excellent news team.
mike hart | 2:15 p.m. March 30, 2009
Living in CA I have seen the "wild left" in action! Following are two differant views and how each was treated in CA! In Sacremento "pro-lifers" had mace sprayed in their eyes, within less than 12 inches of their face as they prayed! The "police" then twisted their arms behind their backs! (And put the hurt on them!) As the "pro abort" people hollered "kill them" "bust their arms off" ect! (It was barely reported in the local paper the Sac-bee! The NATION never heard! About 1 year later the "gay community" was mad about something! They blocked the Golden Gate bridge for several hrs! Broke windows and generally raised Hell! The po9lice made "NO ARRESTS"! They were on what they a "VERY SPECIAL HIGH TOLERANCE LEVEL"!! EQUAL RIGHTS? RIGHT! And as the previous incident only reported "locally"!! Is this the kind of "equality" we are to live with from the COMMIE LEFT??
Arthur Dent | 2:15 p.m. March 30, 2009
The funniest thing I've ever heard on radio was when there were riots in France a couple years ago and Beck said something like "In other news, France is on fire." Then a good solid minute of special-effects-enhanced diabolical laughter. I almost soiled my armor.
Muxy | 2:16 p.m. March 30, 2009
I dare those Democrats, of which I used to be labeled, who trash people whom they do not even listen to and instead only hear those in the Matrix Media who tell you what to think.

Learn to listen and think and research for yourselves like I did.

Double Dare
Pat | 2:16 p.m. March 30, 2009
This man is certifiable. He is nuts. He is not thinking rationally. His sky is falling attitude is bad for America. He joins the others at Fox who distort the truth to destroy American. I say he is Un American.
DiggerO | 2:16 p.m. March 30, 2009
Uberlibs hate beck, libertarians like him, Conservative GOPers love him, and I think he is GREAT.
tony | 2:16 p.m. March 30, 2009
Beck is a little over the top, but he makes a lot of sense. It's a heck of a lot better than listening to air america or the leftest tv stations.
supernurse | 2:18 p.m. March 30, 2009
What is going on with the world was predicted many
years ago, so the election of Obama is no suprise.
Glen Beck is a voice of sanity in a scitzo world.

Red Bingo | 2:18 p.m. March 30, 2009
I'm not a mormon, but I love this guy's show. He's spot on when it comes to evaluating the economy and the mis-steps of our new president.
4 more years! | 2:18 p.m. March 30, 2009
Bring back Bush! He did nothing to hurt America! Most of the time he just did nothing! He will go down in history as one of the top 50 Presidents ever, or at least for like 40 more years! That Obama in the 100 days he has led hasn't even taken us to war!! Honestly, what is up with that? America is founded on killing people and he is just trying to stop that. Give me a break!!
mike84102 | 2:20 p.m. March 30, 2009
good to see fox news on top, but beck's crying was shameful and embarrasing. come on - be a man glen.
J sparrow | 2:21 p.m. March 30, 2009
Beck is the biggest idiot on TV - period!
Bob | 2:22 p.m. March 30, 2009
It is surprizing to observe the many negative comments about Glenn Beck. Surprizing until you realize that they are mostly New York Times readers. This waning house organ of the liberal Democrats has given little true facts to its public. I give no credence to commentors who are dominated by the New York Times. Glenn Beck is levelling the playing field.I hope his following continues to grow.
mentalbil | 2:22 p.m. March 30, 2009
I believe that the dumbest people that ever lived in this world are all here today....ignorance rules!
Lady Jane | 2:24 p.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck is fantastic. A well informed person who can let everyone know just what is going on. He is cleaver, intelligent and well informed about any subject. I love to watch him on TV
