I am a Republican, a fiscal moderate and a social moderate. With that said, I used to listen to Glen Beck, but I think he is a blow hard who doesn't add anything substantive to a debate. He is entertainment, not a newsman. The people who like him want to believe what he says because it is self-servingly verifies what they think themselves.

He is no better than Lou Dobbs, O'Reilly, Hannity, Olberman, or any of the ranting mob. I am relatively young (29) and I wish that news was more like it was when I was a kid, but I guess that doesn't pay the bills.

so, I just don't watch any of them.

Didn't Jesus bless the poor and say it was difficult for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God? Didn't Jesus advocate that the rich sell all their possessions and give the money to the poor, i.e. redistribute the wealth? Isn't that what Obama is advocating? Glenn Beck should just turn the other cheek.

We support Glen Beck! My former party and it's Obama-led extremists support drugs, drug smuggling, massive big-city criminal operations (sometimes involving corrupt demo government officials as in Chicago), endemic poverty, rotten educational systems (Detroit's 47% illiteracy rate is an indicator), high homicide rates, wrecked economy (as in California and Detroit, but 2 examples), destruction of the family unit and mass abortion, to just name a few demo-led "community organizing" efforts.

When is it right for the President of the United States to force a CEO to resign because he doesn't agree that it is enough for the company to move forward?

I'm sorry but when a President tells GM that you are doing enough to get my tax payer money and you have to resign to get it. THAT IS COMMUNISTIC in the worse way. It is against the Constitution of the United States and it is time the American people understood that. I totally disagree with that move. I watch Glen Beck every chance I get and enjoy his programs. The way the economy is right now he is a breath of fresh air compared to the other news network. Hey, CMoore: Jesus was pointing out to his listeners (which means us, too) that if money is separating you from God, or inhibiting your relationship with God (Jesus), then get rid of it. It isn't just money either. It can be power or influence or any of the Seven Deadlies. I personally know many people who use the fruits of their labor (their wealth) to build up the Kingdom of God. Hahaha - I posted a couple hours ago; and there have been hundreds of comments left on here since then. I just did a quick tally of those pro-Glenn vs. anti-Glenn, and of the hundreds I viewed, only 20 were anti. That's a good sign. That means we have a lot of smart people in this country. The media has to be noticing. Even the LA Times is putting pro-Rush columns in their editorial pages! The leftist, socialist/communist Obamamaniac morons are losing.

@Carmen - you're right the school system has failed. Who's fault is that? We spend more money on education than any other country in the world. The left just wants to spend more. The dems oppose home schooling and voucher schools - both show far better performance rates than public schools. The federal gov't is not the answer.

I agree with you about the corruption going on in our government but feel that there is little I can do about it.Except to tune into your show each night and get the true store about what our congress men and senators are doing.Keep up the good work towards keeping our conservative idea and values alive.

Glen Beck is awesome and a great American. When Pres. Hinckley died I watch his show where he gave a great tribute to a great man. When liberals feel threatened they attack people like Glen, Shawn, Bill, Rush etc. Obama told people not to listen to Rush criticize his "Spendulus Bill" because Rush pointed out how flawed it was and he wanted to ram rod it through Congress before anyone saw what was really in it. I am glad that Glen Beck moved to Fox News because that is where he belongs on a network that won't slobber over Pres. Obama like he is the next best thing to sliced bread but instead shows that Obama is really a socialist who wants to undermine the values of the founding fathers that made this country great.

in texas we voted bush in four times - governor and president. the man had no credentials for either. he owned a baseball club that he was given the money to buy in the first place and did not run in the second. all a set up, guiding him into office to be run by others.

we also voted into state and national (us senate) office multiple times a man named pappy lee o'daniels. pappy was a singer and radio personality. bright enough to manipulate listeners to vote for him but not someone i would want representing me now.

glenn beck. be afraid. be very afraid. otherwise normal, rational people can be swayed to vote for the worst possible candidate. bush and o'daniels are just two examples.
