He tells it like it is, and represents most of
middle America. Go Glenn.
Ronald Raglen | 10:49 a.m. March 30, 2009
I love Glen Beck! He tells it as he sees it just like the rest of us (Americans). He loves America and he don't want to see it go socialist! A big government grab by President Obama and the Democratic party is very dangerous to the U.S.A.!
Imajica | 10:50 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck is a breath of fresh air. He speaks his mind, regardless of political correctness, certainly a rarity these days. His You Are Not Alone message has resonated with our family; after the last election it seemed like our values and opinions were "out in the wilderness". Now we know this is not true. We need more Becks, not less.

I know Glenn personally. While he comes across to many as a circus clown, he believes what he says. He is very sincere in my view (obvious some show and presentation to get ratings, but the core message is very much his view). Its sad that the country has strayed so far from its core principles that people view those that aspire to live our founding principles as radicals and crazy clowns. A sad commentary on how far our country has strayed...and the exact reason why Glenn should not shut up.
James B Norman | 10:53 a.m. March 30, 2009
He uses common sense and that is what worries people. We are at a place in America where about 1/2 think its the Governments role to take care of us (USSR, CHINA, Cuba, et all) and 1/2 think the Governments role is to protect our rights and borders (as the founders did).

Common sense and statists do not mix well.
me | 10:53 a.m. March 30, 2009
why don't we all stop listening to everyone on tv and on the radio, they're all in it (only) for the money(power). every single one of them. and we eat it up. Let's worry about our own lives and not our neighbors'. we'll be happier.
Freaky McFreakersons | 10:53 a.m. March 30, 2009
Wow, the freaks on here could fill up white tundra space in Canada real quick. Take your guns, apocalyptic fantasties and go. You hate America so leave your cash behind. You hate any U.S. government program of any kind, but probably want your roads paved, and I am sure you'd want your gramma taken care of when she's old and sick. You hate a women's right to choose but turn your back on poor, single mothers who have their babies. And on and on. It's nauseating. And you hate Europe. But I don't hear you hating on the tundra. So go there. You've got crazy nailed and your righteousness can guide you through long winters. Alas, it's your dangerous "values" that will cause even the white tundra of Canada to keep you out. So we're stuck with you. Stay in your homes please.
rocco59 | 10:54 a.m. March 30, 2009
Love Glenn. Hey haters, tune in and watch one show you might just learn something other that the drivel you are spoon fed on BSNBC.
Iowa girl | 10:54 a.m. March 30, 2009
I like Beck. He lets us know about stuff we wouldn't otherwise know. Like, the country's going to a hot place in a hand basket.
Anonymous One | 10:54 a.m. March 30, 2009
For those who are receiving free handouts from those who work their fingers to the bones, Obama is the greatest thing to come along since sliced bread. On the other hand, has Messiah Obama ever proved he is the LEGAL president of this nation under Article 2:(paraphrasing) "Natural Born Citizen", not "naturalized". I think his communist/socialist agenda is pretty well "on the move". How much more time will he need to have everyone saluting his "Supreme Obamaship" while paying homage to Meca?! Wake up and smell the buritos.
Supporter | 10:55 a.m. March 30, 2009
Politicians could learn a lot from Beck, Reps and Dems in politics could take ownership of mistakes and take on some of the down-to-earth honesty that Glenn has...Glenn hasn't lost himself to power like our boneheaded Congress and President, who calculate their every words, and never speak from the heart.
Di | 10:55 a.m. March 30, 2009
Go Beck! Keep on speaking the truth ! No one else will. I followed you from CNN to Fox news. I no longer have to turn my channel to CNN . They can keep their bias news!
Salient | 10:57 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck, we miss you at CNN. Please come back! Our ratings are dropping! Please come back -- we will give you that private dressing room you wanted stocked with all kinds of carbs... We don't have snacks from foreign countries.. Please Glenn, we'll even change the name of the network to GBN. You want a raise? No problem -- cash under the table, and tax free. OB won't get his hands on your money. We'll even give you guests that disagree with you so you can smash them on national TV. We're on our knees, Glenn!!!
Sheila Carrigan | 10:57 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glen Beck should be required viewing. They are indoctrinating our children all through school. Mr Beck gives his wisdom in a humourous format that even my children can understand. As to the person who said his "hero" Bush....you must have never watched Glen because Bush was definately not his hero!! All he advocates is less government interference in our day to day lives and keeping our constitution as the basis for our laws.....
Ted Hale | 10:57 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck is a person that gets your attention particularly if you love AMERICA as it is, and want to sustain the AMERICAN dream and culture. If you want socialism and big government in your life then watch the Clinton News Network, or MSNBC or any other main stream media news. Beck and Fox are not for you because they tell you the news, don't tell you THEIR interpretation of the news and what to believe!!
God Bless America
DBDPERK | 10:58 a.m. March 30, 2009
My husband and I absolutely love Glenn Beck. His approach in giving us info as to what is happening to our country is refreshing and honest. Wish he were on later in the day, but catch his show whenever possible. Will TIVO for now.
GO GLENN - WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!
Mac | 10:58 a.m. March 30, 2009
I don't think a christian let alone a mormon is holding up their beliefs if, on their TV show, they make fun of someone with a speech impediment. i.e. Barney Frank. I don't think Mr. Beck would like it if one of his kids had a speech problem and someone made fun of them. Mr. Beck have you forgotten The Golden Rule or does it not apply to you?
Bob Pomeroy | 10:58 a.m. March 30, 2009
A shocking embarassment.
Stickman5157 | 10:58 a.m. March 30, 2009
I would also like to voice my support for Glenn Beck. Keep it up.
rusino | 10:59 a.m. March 30, 2009
Let's see, Obama runs the banks, Obama hires and fires at GM, Obama approves a deal between Fiat and Chrysler, Obama even stands behing the warrenties on our cars. Obama has more than doubled our debt. The european governments are afraid of what Obama is doing here and are refusing to follow suit. Obama paraphrases speeches that GWB gave over the last four years. Obama is expanding the war in Afghanistan.

Not to mention he is depressing the atitudes of the American people. He is a combination of Jimmy Carter and Vladimir Putin.

tailgunner | 10:59 a.m. March 30, 2009
hey zulu talk of uninformed about economy, goverment, and history!! jeez, get in the real world. economy is in shambles, historical fact socialism has never worked, big goverment now owns and will attempt to run the banking, midical and the auto industry!! see social security as example of effectiveness! tell it as it is Glen
The Thinker | 10:59 a.m. March 30, 2009
I love the posters who claim that Beck knows nothing, is a crackpot, and a liar, and profess to never have watched him. How moronic is that??? These people must get their info from MSNBC and the leftwing blogs, and don't bother to get involved with facts or reality. Glenn, like Cheney and Palin, among others, is destined to be a target of hate from the hateful left. Fortunately, he is man enough to take it, as opposed to the cowards who attack him.
JB | 10:59 a.m. March 30, 2009
Really enjoy his show. Hes smart and funny!
Cairo | 10:59 a.m. March 30, 2009
Do you believe the power of government should be concentrated in the states or in Washington?

If you think that the power should reside in a strong central government, then you're a liberal and love Obama - and think Beck is a nutcase.

If you think that the power should reside in the states, then your a conservative and you understand where Beck is coming from.

A strong central government that constantly over-rules, bails out, TARPs, or otherwise tries to run your personal life will eventually destroy you and everything you love, right after it tries to tell you it will save you.

Go Glen! You are "a voice crying in the wilderness!"
Weasler | 11:00 a.m. March 30, 2009
Someone writes:

"I don't understand how things are somuch worse than Bush era."

"Obama on the other hand is just bigining his work"

"How could we critisize a president without giving a time to see an out come."

I will bet $600 Million that the writer of this
post defending Commie Obami is a product of a
failed liberal public school.
TheNewAmerica | 11:00 a.m. March 30, 2009

Mark Levin's new book, Liberty and Tyranny" is a MUST READ for all Americans to rediscover the principles that helped found our country.
Beck is just one disciple.

Katie | 11:00 a.m. March 30, 2009
Hey Zulu,
...."someone who is uninformed ahout economy, history, government, science and more preaching to an audience who is equally uninformed"...

You must be talking about Obama
Tim | 11:01 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck is a Judas Goat. He is attempting to co-op the growing Libertarian movement. Alex Jones is the new Paul Revere!
joe | 11:01 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck goes up the NYT goes down. Rush goes up PBR goes down. Fox goes up CNN goes down. Conservatism goes up. Obama approval ratings go down.
deeosak@gmail | 11:01 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck shows his real commitment to loving America. God bless in all he does, and continues to do .
Eugene | 11:02 a.m. March 30, 2009
Mr. Beck would be so much more respected if he were to enlarge his vocabulary and not feel he needs to use profane language. He is certainly not a credit to the church you say he belongs to and if you could use your influence to help the man he would be much more effective.

re: JDM | 10:27 a.m. March 30, 2009
"He is LDS.. That explains why he is so insane."

Thank you for another fine example of liberal tolerance.
Now go whine about how vicitmized you are by those mean Mormons (remaining oblivious to your own venom)
BTW I am not LDS
Mccleod | 11:05 a.m. March 30, 2009
Oh man, Liberals. . . This world has never seen such a group of people who claim to know so much and exhibit such ignorance, led around like sheep by the likes of movie stars and media moguls.
Have you ever noticed that when people crowd together in big cities (ala New York, LA) that they turn into idiots? They don't like suburban or (especially) rural areas because if they are away from all the chatter they would have to hear their own thoughts and reason how stupid they are.
Blenn Geck | 11:06 a.m. March 30, 2009
I listen to Glenn, but I guess I don't REALLY listen. If I had, I wouldn't have lost thousands in the stock market, or quit my job to work on my house thinking I could easily get a new one. Because he was warning people about this recession/depression way back when everyone was telling him he was crazy.

This story really doesn't do him justice, and I think the folks writing it are trying to get you to dismiss him as a kook without listening to/watching him. You don't know what Glenn's all about from this story. You really need to actually listen, or watch, at least somewhat regularly. I guess that applies to most everyone. Search for "talk radio streams". It's easy to listen to his radio show on your computer even if your local stations don't carry him. And of course on Foxnews.
Scott | 11:09 a.m. March 30, 2009
"I don't understand how things are so much worse than Bush era."

Thank you for showing us the typical Obama voter and supporter. Of course you don't see it.

Of Course you don't see that while you complain about Bush's spending and deficit, Obama has ALREADY spent more than ALL Presidents since the FOUNDING of this Country.

I go farther but I think some of you are having trouble tracking already...

Scott
RVRGAL | 11:09 a.m. March 30, 2009
He tells it like it is and he nderstands how a lot of American citizens feel about what is happening in our country as a result of our government. He has some good ideas, an open forum for people to present their ideas.. If the libs start laying in on him...I'll guarantee you that his popularity will only INCREASE! Finally, someone in the media who can speak for US!!
Beckstabber | 11:09 a.m. March 30, 2009
I used to tune into Beck daily. I had enough after his blubbering episode when Al Sharpton had "hurt his feelings" about his being a Mormon and how much his religion meant to him. Yeah, right. That's why it's so much fun to do "Moron Trivia" and call people losers, idiots, and waste of human skin. That's just what Jesus would do... Great example, Glenn...
Sparky3650 | 11:10 a.m. March 30, 2009
Liberals just can't stand when someone like Beck is popular. If their Air America had stayed in business and was as popular they would be telling us how "the people have spoken" and that if people listen it must be what they really believe. But liberal talk radio failed miserably and conservative talk flourishes so it MUST be because people are "stupid". It also nicely plays into the liberal elite attitude that the masses are just sheep..... Although I wish our President well, I for one am very happy to be in the opposition party now! :-)
Johnmp | 11:10 a.m. March 30, 2009
A lot of the success of Glenn Beck and others on Fox News Network is the ability of Roger Ailes to pick successful talent and recognize viewer interests It shows in the numbers.
Anonymous | 11:10 a.m. March 30, 2009

GLEN BECK MAKES UP WHAT HE DOESN'T KNOW.

WHICH IS A LOT.

Make me long for the days of the jello bellied blowhard Rush Limpbaugh.
Greg Greenlee | 11:11 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn is saying what he believes and has diligent factual research and historical precedent backing much of what he says. The people who want to shut him up, just don't agree with him politically. Can we say First Amendment? He is popular because he is an effective communicator. He is a threat to the main stream media's agenda.
IntelliQ | 11:11 a.m. March 30, 2009
I'm not enamored by hosts that take populist positions, or primarily base their talking points on dramatic "headlines" to get viewers and advertisers. I'd like to find straight reporting, but there isnt any.

That said, there's not much of an alternative. I tried CNN and MSNBC and couldnt stomach their left leaning "reporting".

Tom from Seattle | 11:12 a.m. March 30, 2009
The Lefties are really afraid of people like Glenn and Sarah. Mostly what they do is overeact and name call when they hear a conservative voice. How mature! Beck will not be silenced.
Liz | 11:14 a.m. March 30, 2009
I've been listening to glenn since he was on local radio here in Tampa and I can tell you there is no one more sincere in media. He throws his heart and soul out on the table for public viewing. He's a good man and his point of view is always compelling.
VONBLUE | 11:14 a.m. March 30, 2009
This isnt about complaining about Obama (problems there to be sure); it is about restoring our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Glenn has a long way to go in pinpointing what the countries problem is, but he is well on his way. Glenn knows he is in a very precarious situation and could be a future target of this administration if he just came out and said that there needs to be a violent restoration of the Constitution.

There is an awakening happening in America, but I am afraid it is way to late now and darkness has fallen on our once great nation.

Tyranny is already here folksjust be careful.

A word to the wise is sufficient.
Michele | 11:15 a.m. March 30, 2009
Mr. Beck you're a true American. Man, you Rock! My family never misses your show on Fox. It's the only news network we watch! Keep up the good work Glenn.
CTTC | 11:16 a.m. March 30, 2009
I live in connecticut, surrounded by HYBRIDS with OBAMA stickers. Here's the problem that even the moderates who swung the election can understand. There are 2 gtoups of people: those PULLING THE WAGON and those RIDING IN THE WAGON. Our country now has more people IN the wagon. Igf the illegal aliens get legalized, that's another 20 mil Democrats. When there are more voters in the wagon than pulling, they can vote for anything they want and GET IT. When circuit city ws going broke, the store was jammed with illegals on cell phones buying FLAT SCREENS. According to the wagon analogy, if that scenario continues we are on generation away from ANARCHY. Do the Democrats extend the presidency to 3 terms? Be careful moderates, be very careful, your country is being taken from you and it will not be back to normal during YOUR lifetime. Once the free markets are no longer free, no one will take risk and invest, and then we will be just like another second tier country. And you Republicans get mad and demonstrate and write letters. Next on the list is health care. think it's expensive? wait til it's FREE

I like Glenn and wish he would speak to what has happened to the school systems as the left has said, give me the children and I will change the world.

Has anyone wondered if by taxing the rich, does that mean all the rich politicians like the Kennedys, the Dodds, the speaker of the house, who is the 9th richest person in the senate. And speaking of rich, the Obama's are too rich. Think about it..I bet they will be exempt!!!!!!!!
chaz | 11:17 a.m. March 30, 2009
nothing reveals the amazing stupidity of the left as much as their own words... Consider: (a direct quote) Clyde | 6:08 a.m. March 30, 2009
"One great thing about America...If Rupert wants to waste his money paying this crackpot, fine with me. I have every right never to tune in and watch this crybaby.

Never have and never will."

He has NEVER watched- NEVER will, but "knows Glen is a crack pot..." This is how Obama was elected- these are his voters. Also, these are the folks who hated Bush. Explains a lot doesn't it?
