Beck and Palin are the only two telling us the real truth! Obomba lies with each breath he takes, as he tries to turn our great country into a Marxist Commie State. GOD will stop them from destroying America. GOD Bless America.
Irene | 8:42 a.m. March 30, 2009
He's keeping us sane while the government has gone crazy.

You go Glen! America is not dead. I think there is a new Kings Mountain in our future. Kings Mountain is the Revolutionary War battle where the almost undefeated and arrogant British troops were marching through the southern United States trying to stamp out the American resistance. They found the true American's from the backwoods at a place called Kings Mountain. The British were totally obliterated by the long gun carrying backwoods men who both out manuevered them and out fought them. Sic Temper Taranus

Those who refuse to obey natural economic law have placed themselves beyond its protection.
Canadiandy | 8:43 a.m. March 30, 2009
This guy is the last bastion of free speech.

I notice the President himself is trying to take down his opponents in the media (quite an un-Presidential thing to do in a country which prides itself on protecting freedom of the press).

As long as Obama continues to spend too much, borrow too much, and tax too much, your country will need Mr. Beck to identify the political realities you face.

Go Glenn!
Hawlsey | 8:43 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck is a great host! I love hearing his opinions, insight and thoughts on today's issues. It's a breath of fresh air to hear a different view represented from the typical "mainstream"?? media. No, he isn't perfect and I don't believe 100% of what he says, but I do love to hear some intelligent and informed debate against what typically gets the headlines. Without it there is no freedom of thought or expression.
Cats | 8:43 a.m. March 30, 2009
I hate to bring this up, but JUST FOR THE RECORD...the word is "DISFRANCHISE"--not "disENfranchised." Look it up in the dictionary.

You see, there is a franchise...and you can either be franchised or DISfranchised. You cannot be disenfranchised.
Dallas Jackson | 8:44 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck is the right man at the right time. He speaks from the heart about America. Obama and his socialist , pagan, godless friends are spending our way into government slavery. O'Reilly can't make up his mind about anything and think he speaks for the "FOLKS' (not my folks) and Hannity pals with the journo left and says the same tired cliches over and over again (I hate Hitlers policies but Nazis are people to) . Evil is Evil who ever wields the club.We need leaders to bring us back to Constitution Federation and Democracy. I want someone screaming from the rafters that a American takeover is taking place NOW. Obama and Pelosi and reid.....SLAVERY>>> Please GOD make OBAMA FAIL>>>>
PArmola | 8:44 a.m. March 30, 2009
God Bless you Glen. DON"T TREAD ON ME!"

Since when does one's religion factor intp whether a person is good at what they do and speaks the truth? Just a thought.
Tad | 8:45 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck is absolutely right: we ARE on the road to Socialism. Read FA Hayek and Ayn Rand, see if they didn't describe what's going on right now over half a century ago.
adam | 8:46 a.m. March 30, 2009
I like Beck.
watch him every day at college
I used to watch Bill but I seem to like Glenn better
Joe Nardeux | 8:47 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glen Beck...of course he is doing well on the network most watched by Brain Washed Zombies.
Nick | 8:47 a.m. March 30, 2009
BECK IS AN AMERICAN PATRIOT. IT'S NOT A QUESTION OF DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN. IT'S WHAT IS BEST FOR AMERICA AND OUR AMERICAN FAMILIES.

DON'T TREAD ON ME! DON'T STEAL MY HARD-EARNED MONEY THAT I EARNED TO SUPPORT MY FAMILY AND GIVE IT AWAY. DON'T BRAINWASH MY CHILDREN. DON'T SEND OUR MONEY OVERSEAS. DON'T GIVE MY MONEY TO FREINDS OF POLITICIANS. DON'T DISHONOR OUR BRAVE SOLDIERS.
Liberal | 8:49 a.m. March 30, 2009
I like him... no I don't like him.. I liked him before I watched him, now I don't like him. I never liked him. I liked him. He is a sick twisted freak
Rich Hervieux | 8:50 a.m. March 30, 2009
No doubt about it. We have a stooge in office. A very dangerous one. He thinks he can fire CEO's, bypass The Constitution by nullifying contracts in a private business, give the responsibilities of the census to a.c.o.r.n., The libs that drank the kool-aide will, in time, admit they were wrong. The problem becomes, how much damage will obammie do to our country. Call me crazy, but I still think the citizenship thing has some merit. They have spent over 800,000.00 to date to quash every civil complaint so far. I have heard that he attended two different Universities in the US under that name Barry Soetoro and listed his citizenship as Indonesian. His tuition was paid under a foreign studies program. One thing for sure, his agenda is to take away the freedoms our soldiers have died for throughout history. I am not faulting the libs, we can all make mistakes. One is this magnitude is a little much but Glen Beck is speaking the truth. As Americans OUR agenda has to be to legally get this idiot out of office. Pay close attention to Glen Beck
Jim Crush | 8:50 a.m. March 30, 2009
Bech is a genuine American. i don't always see hi point of view but I love his passion to tell it as he sees it and the ratings speak for themselves. As Jim Rome would say.....scoreboard!
commentmanofYork | 8:50 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn is speaking for 'everyman'. As a grandfather I hold my newborn grandson & ask myself, "What am I leaving him? Yes, I have a deep faith in God & will do my best to teach him about Him. I look at what's happening to our Constitution & wonder if he will still enjoy the same liberties I and his mom & dad do. I write letters, make phone calls, talk on talk radio, and plan to teach him that. Glenn provides my 'national voice on TV' as well as Rush & all the other conservative talk show hosts do on radio. Plain language has to be spoken about what's going on. The reason he & all the others are so popular & are gaining strength every day is that the 'LEM' (left elite media) is carrying the water for the liberals. On this course we are headed for our loss of freedom & liberty.

Chirstian | 8:51 a.m. March 30, 2009
"God and religion are under attack"...Beck says...

The only people attacking God are those who follow false prophets...Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses.

To Anonymous at 10:04 on 3/29:
It's obvious why you feel the way you do. You are undoubtedly an Obama supporter. He attracts the uneducated and those who do not want to expand the scope of their thinking. Evidence to support that? Look at your spelling. Goodness, did you actually pass 5th grade? I'd love to see a sample of your reading level too. That has to be just as amazing.

Glenn Beck is to Fox News Channel what Fox News Channel was to Cable TV. He is the shot in the arm, the breath of fresh air that the Country needed.

Cable ratings are NOT political. They are an ACCURATE accounting of viewership.

The *FACTS* are that THE PUBLIC *WATCHES* FOX NEWS CHANNEL---O'REILLY, HANNITY, BECK, VAN SUSTEREN, etc. CNN is a distant second and MSNBC (Olberman, Maddow) is almost non-existent!

You can find the unbiased ratings on DrudgeReport (dot com) when they come out.

Sophia | 8:52 a.m. March 30, 2009
A level head with some real common sense...ABOUT TIME! Insult or belittle him all you care too. It only proves he makes sense, knows his subject matter and doesn't waffle. Props to you, Beck!
Liberty | 8:52 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck is not conservative or liberal, he is AMERICAN. Standing up for the constitution and what our country stands for. The Tea Parties are a perfect example of people wanting to take their country back for the Socialist Democratic party. We can't spend our way out of a recession or borrow our way out of debt. Wake up America!
walt | 8:53 a.m. March 30, 2009
He sounds like a big sissy- not very informed or just another wimp blowing with the wind
DBeck | 8:53 a.m. March 30, 2009
The people on here bashing Glenn have obviously never watched or listened to him. 1)Glenn is not a Republican. He is a libertarian and also a conservative. 2) He critcized and continues to criticize the Bush administration on a regular basis for the mistakes they made. 3) He see right and wrong, not left and right. If you do something wrong or stupid, he's going to call you out on it...and that is why he normally attacks the left. 4) He is the first to admit he's not a perfect person. He constantly reminds us he's just an (recovered) alcoholic disk jockey. He is a great American, and unless you are going to watch his TV show or listen to his radio show, shut your mouths!
Beck Rocks | 8:53 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck echos the thoughts of millions who feel that the America they've known is being destroyed by Liberal Elitists.... those who do not respect the constitution, our religious heritage and sovereignty.
Conservative Professor | 8:53 a.m. March 30, 2009
Go Glenn!
AmericanBelle | 8:54 a.m. March 30, 2009
It's amazing how many Obamamaniacs are out at any given time, puffing up their hero and bashing anyone who doesn't. First, they spent 8 years bashing Bush by spreading lies, misinformation, deceit. And lies they were, because things went downhill in the Bush administration when the DEMOCRATS TOOK CONTROL! Now they cry and wimper proclaiming Obama hasn't been in office long enough and needs more time. NEEDS MORE TIME??? This is why Glenn Beck is so refreshing. He's fighting back the lies told then AND now! Obama has done more destruction, shredding our Constitution and destroying our rights and liberties than ANY President EVER! Beck's point is simple: Obama is an abomination! Now Obama's flying off to the G20 with a 500 person contingent to force world leaders to do it his way...a way the G20 has already condemned! Obama doesn't listen...not to us and not to other world leaders. He's an abomination! We know this now...we need no more time, nor does he! Last time a leader was given time we wound up in WWII shouting Heil Hitler! Well, Heil Obama! Help us, Glenn!
Mark | 8:54 a.m. March 30, 2009
I like how the article paints Fox News as the opposition. People please realize that CNN, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, etc are so far left that Fox just being objective makes them look like they are the democratic opposition. Their election coverage for the '08 elections were objective and unbiased. They didn't host a debate one night and then the next night have one of the candidates as the worst person in America. That is why Glenn Beck is so popular. We are tired of the crap. CNN, NBC, NYT, etc, take notice. You want to compete with Fox in the ratings, be more objective. There used to be a time when the media was like the 4th branch of government. Another arm to provide checks and balances. We don't have that now and look at how dangerously close to flirting with Socialism we are. Glenn always tells his listeners to do their own research, don't take his word. That is good advice for America, go back and look at World History. We can't afford to make the same mistakes over and over.
cacc64 | 8:54 a.m. March 30, 2009
To "NOT SURE"...Pray tell me how you can live in America and "lean to the left"? Seriously, I would like to know how any true, native born, or any American could possibly consider in their brain in any waking moment to be a "leftist". To be so, is a socialist, communist, anti-liberty, anti-free speech, anti-1st, 2nd, and constitution. Therefore, you are not an American, but a globalist/socialist/communist, and a person without a true nationality.
Folklore | 8:55 a.m. March 30, 2009
Why not take the other two and move them, so Glenn can come on a little later. That is when his numbers really will go up. We see and hear too much of Sean. He takes a subject and beats it like a dead horse, enough
Anonymous | 8:55 a.m. March 30, 2009
Ad hominem (look it up in the dictionary if you don't know what it means) attack is the best weapon of the weak, I repeat WEAK! Any one who comments on Obama, Beck, Limbaugh or any other for that matter, should stay on focus and talk about the issues. The issues matter not the person. You can agree or disagree with a point of view but just attacking a person is not relevant.
stepblan1 | 8:56 a.m. March 30, 2009
Sad that we feel the need to still blame Bush and pile on to Obama - Do you really think any of these guys have our best interest at heart? The politicians are the real clowns. We the people must bear the responsibility of our continued APATHY as we reelect the same stooges year after year. We are getting what we deserve.
Joe | 8:56 a.m. March 30, 2009
Can things be more clear what direction Obama is taking this country after he's taken the power to fire private company CEO's like Rick Wagoner from General Motors ?
Glen Beck is another voice talking to the people our politicians and media have tossed aside. Of course the left and right belt way boys don't want this type of descent spreading, but it is, and will only get more prominent as more of our freedoms are taken away.
Those of you who say "He's only been in office for two months, give him a chance" are blinded by your own worthlessness to achieve success on your own from the benefits of being American delivered to you by the blood, sweat, and tears of those before you.
Mommy and Daddy gave you every thing they sacrificed with American pride to build their ability to give you what they knew was possible with the love of country. Now your throwing it all away for a song and a dance. You've disgraced their name, your name in the name of I want.

Clyde wrote at 6:04 AM: "One great thing about America...If Rupert wants to waste his money paying this crackpot, fine with me. I have every right never to tune in and watch this crybaby.

Never have and never will."

I say Clyde is receiving stimulous money and is the typical Obama voter, i.e., uninformed.

I love Glenn Beck! Byyeeeeee
Me | 8:57 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck is possibly just another stooge. He mentions little bits of truth, then twists it just enough to make sure people stay good, little minions, things aren't all that bad... YES THEY ARE! WAKE UP PEOPLE, the NEW WORLD ORDER has arrived!! Do your research! Please wake up.
ryan | 8:57 a.m. March 30, 2009
Bill Maher is an sensationalist wackjob himself. Who is he to criticize anyone? And my question for TIm Rosential is what about the fearmongering by left wing during he Bush Administration? Both ARE THE SAME!

It seems to me that Rosential has no interest in excellence of journalism, but in marginalizing opinions that do not agree with his.

I don't like Mr. Beck, but he is no different than Olbermann, Maher, or Maddow.
bigfisherman | 8:57 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck is the greatest! He tells the truth and it is very hard to take! As a nation, we want to avoid the truth and have fun - we don't want someone telling us that this party is about to end! Then we will ask ourselves, "What more could we have wanted?"
Sean | 8:57 a.m. March 30, 2009
You know its funny. When the Dems had blind rage against Bush it was ignored or rationalized in the media. When Glenn and his listeners are mad its highlighted. Glenn has listeners not because they are all angry and they want someone to feed that anger. They listen because they want someone, anyone, to tell them the truth!! Sometimes he is hard to listen too (depressing). In our heart of hearts we know he is right, and for things to EVER get better we need to be honest about where we stand as a nation.
Fed up | 8:57 a.m. March 30, 2009
GB called out the Bush adm. on lots of things and continues to watch the left and the right. He is more worried about securing liberty in this nation than he is about advancing political agendas. We should all take a page from his book and realize that "We The People" have the power over the politicians and not the other way around. As long as they can keep us divided they can all sit in the ivory tower and laugh at our expense. Lets not forget these are people who are found with freezers full of cash, getting boats, having free home decorations, getting prostitutes, and texting inappropriate comments to underage pages; meanwhile folks like you and I work 40hrs or more in one week to see more than one third of that gone in the paycheck. Ask yourself: is this your America? and if so fight for it.
Liz | 8:58 a.m. March 30, 2009
I like Glenn, I remember him on the radio here in Phillyand when he just started his tv gig. I loved it when he was local, his message is of the common man.
kathy | 8:58 a.m. March 30, 2009
LOVE GLENN BECK! GOD BLESS YOU MAN. GO GO GO! Keep speaking out
against the decline of our great country hastened by people who have no
values. I am delighted that you are one of my teenage son's heroes. There
is no better man on earth with the exception of their daddy for them to
look up to. A MILLION THANKS!
Jim | 8:59 a.m. March 30, 2009
Way to go Glenn. He is right on target. HAve always liked him. Speaks about the issues that are being talked about around the water cooler ! We nee more like him. Its time us AMERICANS stood together, should to shoulder and stop the direction this country is presently heading in. Where is the next tea party !!!!
terri | 8:59 a.m. March 30, 2009
I love Glenn Beck and so do ALL of my family and friends! We liked President Bush, but are also open minded enough to admit that he made mistakes, A LOT of mistakes....I like Obama's personality,he seems like a nice enough guy,but that's not what we need in the White House! We need a leader and he's just not that! He's letting Nasty Pelosi run the show! And as long as he does that I can't and won't support him...and enough with blaming everything on Bush! Good Grief, that's the past, let it stay there!! Or if you're gonna bring Bush into it, at least bring in Chris Dodd and Barney Frank! The REAL problems from the past!
Lee Haberkamp | 9:00 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn tells it like it is!like it or not!!!
randy | 9:01 a.m. March 30, 2009
What took the media so long to recognize the constitution is under attack? Ron Paul has been screaming about this for years. Of course they called him a kook. Not so kooky anymore Eh?
Ed89134 | 9:01 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glen is terrific, I record him every weekday and view him as a guilty pleasure. He is a breath of fresh air and I love his off the wall sense of humor!
billonotes | 9:02 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck's greatest threat to the left is accurately described in Phil Griffin's comment that Beck is genuine. When the late, great radio talker Jerry Williams (WRKO 680 Boston) stuck on issues like anti-seat belt legislation and New Braintree prison he was RISKING numbers but held on. Not so sure Beck isn't taking a risk with his seemingly radical and focused viewpoints. And with that, his numbers are rocketing.
jim dixon | 9:03 a.m. March 30, 2009
Whats wrong with socialism? Its easier than being a capitalist. As a socialist I just have to do as I am told. No more problems trying to figure things out for myself because the Government will do it for me
Gene | 9:03 a.m. March 30, 2009
It is obvious... Glenn has turned over a rock... the vermin are disturbed.
