I like Glen. At least he believes what he says.

And who's idea was it to get the opinions of Frum & the President of MSNBC for this article?

No bias there...
Gary | 6:11 a.m. March 30, 2009
Gleen Beck rules. Be afraid you liberal yahoos. This guy is pulling it together for conservatives, on Republicans. You have ACORN, we have BECK. Beck and the truth will win in the end.
WIlliam Stevenson | 6:11 a.m. March 30, 2009
We watch Glenn Beck because what he says AFFIRMS something in US. We wouldn't be watching him if he were saying things that did not ring true to US.
And so, when you see Beck getting more & more popular, that should tell you that there are many, many, many people out there who would speak the exact same words that Beck does if only they knew how.

Therefore, don't blame Beck for anything that he's doing or saying..., because Beck merely 'mirrors' the 'feelings' of millions of Americans.

And that 'mirror', should tell all you left wing anti-Americans that there is a 'outrage' slowly growing & brewing right before your very eyes and ears ..., and ......, you still don't have a clue, nor can you see it coming.

GOD BLESS AMERICA & GLENN BECK

Zulu sounds like he has been influenced by Chicago thug politics. Maybe you should read the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and a dose of common sense would be helpful to you.
Aric | 6:11 a.m. March 30, 2009
I listen to Glen Beck and check the news articles on our country. He is not a liar and yes obmanation is leading us down the road to hell. With the help of a democratic congress, he is ruining the economy to keep us busy while they keep pulling a fast one on us behind our backs. He will take away our guns, he will indoctrinate our children with socialist ideology and he does nothing about our borders. The man is a real mistake as a pres. All those who voted for this nut should be real proud of yourselves as you stand in the unemployment lines. and don't go whining it was Bush, thats a real tired old excuse for what congress has done and get rid of Tim Geithner and Eric Holder! That is why Glen Beck is such a success, he speaks the truth!

A Reminder for ExMoDon who has to be An Obamaite

A voice, crying out in the desert, telling us where we went wrong and what our future looks like...
Change we can't believe is happening is here, and Beck is letting us know what will happen unless this turn for the worse gets derailed. Preacher, keep preachin'!
Better than Maddow and her snide case of BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome) combined with, in her case, useless PMS.
bamanola | 6:12 a.m. March 30, 2009
The truth is not popular and it hurts. Glenn is a brave man for speaking the truth and how he feels. Why is it SO WRONG to disagree with the current administration? I support you Glenn.
Dora Doggins | 6:12 a.m. March 30, 2009
The New York Times and people like Chris Matthews are in public relations, for and about our "historical" president.
JEHE | 6:12 a.m. March 30, 2009
As a Liberal, I have watched the Glenn Beck show and find his comments ringing with truth. Friends lauded Obama has a Messiah and able to walk on water, But Obama is sinking and taking the US with hinm. And he is NO Messiah!
Mikey | 6:12 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn reeks of good old fashioned common sense...so unlike the brain dead sheep in the mainstream media !
Ruble, Barney | 6:12 a.m. March 30, 2009
Common Glenn we need a huge Government, way more politicians, far more oversite. Didn't you know we American Citizens have no brains, no maturity, we need to be looked over more closely and told how to take care of ourselves. We are a dumb society needing all tha assistance Mr. Obama can provide. The Constitution is just reference material that does not really stand for anything. Politicians can manipulate that reference material to help us poor dumb Americans any way they want. Individualism, with lesser government would destroy us.
Blindly Supporting the D & R's | 6:13 a.m. March 30, 2009
What a hate mongering, racist, bigot, Christian! He should be censored for being on Fox News...er... I mean being honest...er.. I mean for not falling in line with the crap Washington is selling the County. How dare he try to be of the last remaining honest "Fourth Branch of the government" and take an honest look at what Congress and both the past and current Administration has jammed down our mouths.
Robbinhood | 6:13 a.m. March 30, 2009
Why is it that stooges like zulu think that those who listen to people like Glenn Beck and the like would be uninformed? I'm not in Utah, and I am extremely informed, and sick of people who believe that the new government's mission is to rule every aspect of our lives.
Chris | 6:13 a.m. March 30, 2009
He is just another religous doomsdayer who is pissed and cant take defeat like the rest of the republicans...like my parents..why werent people this mad when bush was taking advabtage of 9/11 and enacting the patriot act laws under peoples grief and sympathy, and fears. Go stem cell research, Go science, GO OBAMA!!!
OkcJudy | 6:13 a.m. March 30, 2009
You go, Glenn! It's good to hear someone who can put what I feel into words. I'm behind him all the way!
Dorothea | 6:13 a.m. March 30, 2009
Didn't Bill Maher ever listen to Keith Olbermann? Olbermann's nightly rantings about Bush, Cheney, Hillary, Joe the Plumber - downright scary. Olbermann just goosesteps to a different tune.
Re: Zulu | 6:14 a.m. March 30, 2009
Are you talking about President Obama?
kidsafe | 6:14 a.m. March 30, 2009

Glenn Beck has the same agenda as Rush, Sean Hannity & Bill O'reilly...playing to their audience for the sake of ratings and more money, further causing an illogical and dangerous division of our country.
Obama thinks he's king | 6:14 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn speaks common sense, principled values and accountability -- those things that drive the loony left even loonier, so of course they protest.

I used to think that Glenn Beck is an alarmist nut job--last year.

THE ONLY NUT AND LIER IS obama

I wish every American would go back and read the Constitution. I'm sick of the republicans and the democrats both!! We live in one of the greatest countries in the world... we shouldn't let these greedy politicians in the white house and in congress ruin it.
Sigmond | 6:15 a.m. March 30, 2009
His popularity and ratings speak for itself. Viewers, including liberals like what he has to say.
Bill | 6:15 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn is a breath of fresh air in the conservative cause. I DVR him and watch it when Hannity is on.
Fed-up | 6:15 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn has helped us find a voice, not just in his show, but in the 912project that links us all together. America needs to be reminded about our past so we can forg our future! Thank you Glenn!!
Anonymous | 6:15 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck is one of us.

The truth will set you free.
modulus | 6:15 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck is right on the money. Obama is going to ruin this Country
Hank Hawkins | 6:15 a.m. March 30, 2009
I suspect people watch because of the train wreck effect. But, seriously it does provide balance when you see shows like this for those who prefer hate talk to journalism. Even the nutjobs deserve enterainment.
DrNeo | 6:16 a.m. March 30, 2009
But you Zulu, of course, are "informed"! typical liberal...
Dub | 6:16 a.m. March 30, 2009
ExMo

Liar?

Examples?

Keep it up Glenn
Me | 6:16 a.m. March 30, 2009
Zulu,
Uninformed? do you even watch the show? In order to hear any truth about what this administration is doing, it is the only place that tells it. Uninformed?
galt | 6:16 a.m. March 30, 2009
We finally have someone who is skeptical of the government and its intentions. Clinton, Bush, and now Obama all believe that government works, it just needs a little tweaking and more money for their favorite programs. Government really doesn't work very well and Beck is very good at voicing that concept.
This really is not a battle between Republican and Democrat, it is a philosophical battle between government statists (Republican and Democrat) and libertarians. A battle between state control and the individual.
I don't have to wait until I see how Obama's programs turn out. I can fairly easily predict that for all practical purposes if we stay on this course we will bankrupt the country. Right now we're like some in port with a drinking problem and a credit card (my apologies to the sailors reading this). We're gonna feel good tonight, but a hell of a hangover tomorrow!
JW | 6:17 a.m. March 30, 2009
I know it's rather 'fringe' of me but am I the only one who sees the parallels between Glenn and the prophet Jeremiah. For those who haven't read the Bible lately, read that book, then I'd like to hear your comment.
old_and_wise | 6:17 a.m. March 30, 2009
I watch Beck once in a while and while I do not always agree with him, you certainly can't call him uninformed. zulu has no evidence that only the uninformed listen to him; I am very well informed and well educated. And please don't call someone a liar without a specific example.
Flyboy | 6:17 a.m. March 30, 2009
RE:zulu
Glenn is one of the most well read and informed guys around these days, especially on subjects like economy, history, and government.
You're obviously not a listener.
the means | 6:17 a.m. March 30, 2009
We don't need to see the outcome to determine whether or not BHO is doing a good job. We believe that if the rules are fair the results are fair. BHO has his own view of a fair result and is changing the rules in the middle of the game to ensure that result is realized. He's fixing (not in a positive sense) the game so as to get the outcome he thinks is just and fair.

It's the fundamental difference between Liberals and Conservatives. Liberals focus on the fairness of the result while Conservatives focus on the fairness of the rules.
syr42 | 6:17 a.m. March 30, 2009
When will the people in Washington realize that the common working man is getting mad as hell over what they are doing to this country. I think Glenn lets us know that we are not alone and reminds us the They work for us not We work for them. Keep up the good work Glenn we are with you.
Beck Beck | 6:17 a.m. March 30, 2009
First time I heard Beck I thought he was entertaining. Then he got old. Then he got weird. Now I just hurry by his program.

I am a discerning person. Beck got old quickly. Of course, I read, am a world traveler, and have a job where I have to accurate and precise and caring.

Beck has found a home next to Rush. In a sense that is good, Rush needs some right wing competition. As to Beck ever having clout with the voters, no.

Beck got old quickly for me. I guess it will take a little time for others.
tke320 | 6:18 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck is probably the only pundit who truly understands the Constitution. As a professor of history it is a pleasant surprise.
Linda | 6:19 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck is great. He tells it like it is in a time when everyone is so worried about "Politically Correct" words. This Country is in trouble and already past the road to Socialism. Obama is very dangerous, and Glenn is just pointing it out.
an American | 6:19 a.m. March 30, 2009
For those of you who can get by your ideology long enough to hear what Glenn Beck is saying- you will find a honest-genuine-truthfull man who presents FACTS-F A C T S - now I am sorry if you don't like them- but deal with it- Glenn Beck is an inspiration-AND- he is funny- VERY funny. Wake up people- we are all in this thing together- there is no time for ideolgy-just be an American first- your party last- and stick together-God Bless America
Fox Fan | 6:20 a.m. March 30, 2009
Here we have the NYT painting a media outlet as ideological. The irony!

Not only do more republicans watch FNC than CNN or MSNBC, more democrats do too!
MaineMan | 6:20 a.m. March 30, 2009
One factor that I admire in any individual is...'honesty'. From all indications, Glen Beck is an honest man and that counts a great deal towards his popularity with the public. I find myself agreeing with his standards at least 95.9% of the time. Best wishes in your new gig at Fox Mr. Beck.

F.V. B.
Unity Gain | 6:20 a.m. March 30, 2009
Wow. Those that say this administration is better than Bush better brush up on history, and quit learning from the MSM's account of events. Let's see...under Bush: lowest unemployment rate ever, booming economy, no attacks for 8 years in the face of a violent faction that want's to wipe us off the map. Then, 2006 happens, and the idiot democrats take over and ruin all the good that Bush did. His only fault was reaching across the aisle to these idiots. But, democrats will lie, cheat, and steal to push their socialist agenda.
Beck is an inspiration for a country that has grown tired of its out of control government, and is leading the charge to take it back.
Bean | 6:20 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn's should not be judged by where he goes to Church. His show is entertaining and eye opening. He reports what the mainstream media is does not.
DJ | 6:20 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn is much better informed about the "economy, history, government, science and more" than 80% to 90% of American citizens. He is clear and honest about what has happened and where the Obam-ites want to take us. My fear is that he is an optomist about our chances of stopping America's descent into poverty and chaos at the hands of our current "leaders".
marvlus | 6:20 a.m. March 30, 2009
For those who think he is a nut, liar and uninformed, you have never watched him. He predicted the downfall of the economy based on what was happening in the world. He is a self-taught man, unlike those who think that it takes a Harvard or Princeton degree to understand how the world works. For the person (zulu) that says he is uninformed, I challenge you to bring up a specific example of this.
Teancum | 6:20 a.m. March 30, 2009
It doesn't take a brain surgeon to see that Obama is leading us toward more government controls and socialism. The US is going to change and in a big way. When it does, you guys can crybaby all day long....."but nobody told us this would happen"....YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
