Typical liberal rants. If you can't find a flaw with the arguement supported by facts, you attack the person. But goodness knows if you say you want Obama's policies to fail, your attacking the man. However, it was o.k. for idiots like Matthews and Olberman to attack Bush's character with no facts, night, after night, after night. I have found a lot of support for Mr. Beck, et al from friends of mine who have admitted they made a big mistake in voting for Obama.

Politics aside, he's got a great sense of humor and I'm happy to claim him as a fellow member of the Church.

I expect partisan criticism of him and write it off as nothing more than that. So far on these comments, all of the criticism of him falls into that category. He's not wearing the correct colored jersey, so the loyal folks on the other "team" are duty bound to say any ugly thing about him they can imagine. All too predictable and tired.

Having actually watched Beck when he was on HNN, I found him to be quite non-partisan. He has conservative values and principles, of course, but he champions THEM, rather than being beholden to any "team". One thing this country needs is more principle and less partisanship. Glenn Beck fits that bill. Every one of his critics I've ever heard fails this test miserably.

Got some criticism of him worth reading apart from use as a sleep aid? Let's hear it. I'm still waiting.

Mr. Beck may really want this country to succeed but he is using the same scare tactics that other Republicans have used in the past. Instead of terrorist sympathizers, and unpatriotic; Democrats and any independents that want to change the mess left us after 8 years are now leftists, socialists etc. We all need to grow up and stop the school yard name calling and find solutions. The Republicans don't have much to offer except fear and name calling. They recently offered up an alternative budget that had not hard numbers; akin to what the Bush administration did when it glossed over its budgets by not including figures for the two wars we are fighting. I served this country in the military for 20 years and we deserve better from both parties. Since the Republicans had their chance for the past decade I say give the Democrats a chance. Until we have a third party that can force the other two revolving parties to actually live up to promises I think the Democrats deserve the chance to fix the problems left by the former Republican administration.

I love to watch the haters, attackers and liars rally to spew their senseless, anti-American bilge at anything they perceive as "illiberal". Perhaps, instead of these attacks, all 1,000 of these LIBeral haters should try to find jobs and move out of their mother's San Francisco basements. I've been listening to Beck since the 2002-2003 time frame, when I discovered his show while on a business trip to Atlanta. I do think that a Glenn Beck / Dennis Miller co-hosted show would be a hoot, but am 100% satisfied with both his TV and Radio programs. Keep up the Good Work, Glenn - we're out here, and we're listening.

As bad as the Marxist left thinks Beck is, he still refuses to acknowledge Barry Soetoro's illegal alien status.

Gee, I wonder when one person, in Utah, who "honors and sustains the law" (the constitution) is going to bring a lawsuit challenging Soetoro's ineligibility?
j clark | 7:56 a.m. March 30, 2009
Anything to advance the end of the Obama era is a positive thing. Beck has called it as he sees it for years. He hasnt swayed to polls or tried to sugarcoat anything to appeal to viewers of listeners. Glenn is the real deal. I hope he overtakes Hannity who is starting to get boring.
Erich From OHIO | 7:56 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn,

I agree with you! Now tell us how to band together and stop this Socialistic, highway robbery, in broad daylight. Tell the American people which buttons to push...and we will push them. The disaffected Americans just need a voice to follow. Not just a voice to cry with. Obama has already bankrupted every FINACIAL MARKET around the world! The world hates us because of what He and the Demon-crats are doing. They are making the US (and themselves) the laughing stock of the world!

Tell the American people what to do...I believe they are now wide awake and truly ready for a "CHANGE"!

Grateful for GLENN! Thanks for speaking LIFE through all the DEATH. The enlightened ones (those given over to their darkened imaginations) will always smugly comment on is clearly seen and interpeted through a dead (sin-coursing-through) human brain.

What unbelievers and believers may not know- that the human brain is a DEAD organ that will be left behind with this body of death (sin). Even believers, not aware, can be caught expressing thoughts that do not come from them, or the LIFE in them, but are but opinions, DEATH THOUGHTS of SIN.

That is why this ONE-WORLD STEAMROLLER will be allowed to WIN. But then, GOD will shorten the days of this EVIL MACHINERY of "en-darken-ed" human imagination- after using it to bring folks to LIFE!

God uses even evil to bring good! Satan thought he crucified the LIFE- and the very act of crucifixion BROUGHT FORTH the LIFE!

BE encouraged believers and those on the way into THE WAY! Glenn is a WATCHMAN and he is narrating every STEP into the ABYSS of the system of the SELF-right. BE loving true love and announce what is not of love. www.thegraceproject.com

Whenever Geithner opens his mouth the stock market loses another 5%. Who is more dangerous?
To zulu | 7:56 a.m. March 30, 2009
Please, inform us of the truth then.

I'm not a huge Beck fan but I will tell you this...his history lessons are more than accurate. Speaking as one who has studied history the last 25 years and who has watched our country slowly be herded into socialism, I vouch for most of what he says.

You don't have to be a history buff to understand the difference between socialism, communism, and capitalism. You can Google the three right now and see the difference. Then, if you are willing, you can look at the decisions that Bush made and Obama is now following through with and it's as plain as the writing on this page that we are being cattle-herded into a more complete form of socialism and very possibly communism (which is only a step away). But, often in history that takes a very charismatic leader...which we have in Obama.

Please study the countries that are currently socialistic. You'll find that the line between socialism and communism are very thin. What you'll find is poverty. We are on the verge of giving up the greatest nation in modern history.
LDH | 7:56 a.m. March 30, 2009
Jeez, zulu seems somewhat afraid of Mr. Beck. What concerns people like zulu is that Glenn Beck talks about what is REALLY going on in America in plain language that average people can understand. Conservatives and people with values that can articulate themselves and win people over to their cause scare the hell out of liberals who cant support their positions with logic and reason. They don't know WHY they think we should be tolerant of radical Muslims or why they prefer socialism to democracy...they just want it. And theyll shout you down, shut you up and toss your religion under the bus to get it.
Geez Louise | 7:57 a.m. March 30, 2009

The difference between Beck & CNBC, et al, who would seemingly endorse ANYTHING that the D's do, not matter the consequences, is that he is NOT on a perpetual campaign for "R's". He does not broadly endorse everything the "R"'s do. Au Contraire. Therefore he has more appeal to a broad base, since he leaves people with the feeling he MIGHT be interested in preserving the Constitution and the Union, not the PARTY, no matter what.

BillyBoy | 7:58 a.m. March 30, 2009
For those who attack Glenn Beck and other conservates, you should know that when the socialist "rapture" occurs, you will be disposed of in a not-too-kindly way. Useful idiots cannot be trusted not to revolt when they discover that they have been duped.

Human liberty and a despotic leader are mutually exclusive. We've got the despot now, so what are we going to do?
Anonymous | 7:58 a.m. March 30, 2009
Harry Reid, another little moron in Washington, tries to rally support by all the nut jobs in the country. They are all pounding their chests trying to find an audience. Even Mitt Romney--he has to go on the shows such as Hannity. He didn't get the country behind him to be President, but he is out discrediting what the Obama administration is trying to do. He might have a business background but none of the best business minds in the country seem to know exactly what to do. Everyone seems to agree that the circumstances have never been like they are now, and we just need to try an approach and see what the result will be. If one approach doesn't work, then try something different. It takes time.
dmj | 7:58 a.m. March 30, 2009
Thanks to Beck, we are more in tune with what is happening on our border.
The mainstreetmedia is a joke.

Reading some of the comments here about "how america is run by corporations".
Well, this has some truth in it. What can be deduced by this is that aren't corporations running our politicians. Okay. I guess we can conclude that our politicians are corrupt.

You go Glen, let's hear about it, and let's unite the left and the right and restore our government.
dmac | 7:58 a.m. March 30, 2009
You only have to go back about 70 years to see what happens when Governments seize absolute power in a country. Millions of citizens are murdered in the names of those governments. Glenn Beck has factual history on his side that supports his dire warnings.
Swisstoons | 7:59 a.m. March 30, 2009
Some people will tune in hoping they'll be there to see it the day he finally blows a gasket. Some of the blubbering is a little hard to take. But I tune day after day in because he makes so much sense on so many issues.
Laura | 7:59 a.m. March 30, 2009
I love Glenn Beck, and the fact that he has the lefties all riled up makes me like him even more. He is the only person I can bear to watch anymore on Fox.
roxbart | 7:59 a.m. March 30, 2009
You leftists' need to wake up and listen before it's to late. We are slowly but surely losing our rights, one by one. Now Obama has the right to fire an employee of a private company? C'mon, get with the program.
I am proud of my country and want it back from those who think a global economy would be a good thing...yeah right
Alice | 7:59 a.m. March 30, 2009
The following comment by Zulu begs the question: is Zulu referring to Obama and basically the entire Obama administration?
" A sad state of affairs indeed. In a nutshell...someone who is uninformed ahout economy, history, government, science and more preaching to an audience who is equally uninformed."
Jeffxyz27 | 7:59 a.m. March 30, 2009
Mr.Beck speaks the truth.

Best in the business!
LB from San Diego | 8:00 a.m. March 30, 2009
I you haven't given Glenn a chance, listen or watch before judging him. Beck reminds us of what originally made our country great... our values and the people, not politicians. If you are patriotic, you'll like his message. He also points out the dangers of straying from capitalism and traditional values. Glenn represents how I have been feeling! and it looks like I'm not alone. Go Glenn!!!!
Swade | 8:00 a.m. March 30, 2009
I think he speaks the Truth - Way more entertaining than anyone! I think he is what We need to get to the public to Wake them UP!!
disenlightened | 8:00 a.m. March 30, 2009
Amazing - any time a conservative speaks up the mainstream media portrays them as "angry" and conjures up images of Timothy McVeigh and the KKK in a totally predictable attempt to try to shut them up or discount them for their readers or viewers. In real life, it's almost always those on the left and/or those that vote for leftists who commit most of the crimes and killings out of anger. Just why do you think those on the left are always trying to restore the voting rights of convicted felons? Those "disaffected, aggrieved Americans" you speak of happen to be the taxpayers whose wallets and purses are being stolen to pay for all the madness of the left.
El gato | 8:00 a.m. March 30, 2009
Those who knock Beck are those who want to see the U.S. fall and become a socialist dictatorship. They have no knowledge of our Constitution...or they don't care what rights it gives us. They love handouts with strings attached, and they attack Beck because he is very forceful in bringing information to light that every freedom-loving person should know, and he brings on guests to prove his points so no one can say it's "just his opinion". Hopefully, Beck awakens us to the dangers posed by our government, and especially this hideous liberal Democratic one led by Pelosi (the witch), Reid (the badger), and Obama (the incompetent). All of these illegals and ghetto dwellers love the sound of "give them handouts", so those who work for a living better wake up before we lose it all!
Tired of the bs | 8:00 a.m. March 30, 2009
Of course Glenn is popular. He speaks for the long ignored and much maligned average American that is charged with being too stupid to run his/her own lives without government interference. We are rapidly becoming the majority and it is biting at the butt of the powers that be.
Chris | 8:00 a.m. March 30, 2009
We love Glenn Beck!
Griz | 8:00 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn is great! He is right on in so many ways!! He is doint the job that the media has forsaken. His views will never be adopted by the elite because the elite are too busy telling us that they are for us while doing the opposite. OBummer wants to silence all the critics because of his fa*cist bent. Glenn is just shining the light on the darkness. Way to go Glenn!!! We Surround Them!!!
Sad American | 8:00 a.m. March 30, 2009
uh oh watch out Glenn. the messiah, lord obama will be after you soon
CW | 8:01 a.m. March 30, 2009
Zulu you are obviously the uninformed. What kind of ignorant generalization is this? You libs can never win an argument on intelligent debate or discussion so you resort to generalizations and nameslinging calling people racist, bigot, homophobe, etc. You cannot possibly label someone as being uninformed on the economy while supporting the current administrations dismal and dangerous economic policy. You only need to look at history to be able to predict the disastrous outcome of the current path we are on
Judy Hardman | 8:01 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck gets on my nerves sometimes but I have to admit, he's got it right on the current excuse we have for President, so I watch his tv show as often as I can. Obama and his thugs need to be stopped and his insane plans for this country have to be challeneged and Beck fits the bill for that job! I hope Obama's folks don't destroy Beck or his family. Fox News Channel is all that's left for truth seeking, independent thinking folks like myself who will not accept Obama's party line. We need many people to stop Obama and to do it soon. Beck is helping in that cause. Beck is speaking for me as is Rush Limbaugh, O'Reily, Ann Coulter, and Laura Ingraham.

what everyone seems to be missing is he is not a puppet for either side of the political spectrum. he is a self-proclaimed Libratarian. he believes in the constitution and personal responsibility. can't really see why that is a bad thing. those who don't understand, you will see within the next 4 years--GUARANTEED!
Quiet majority | 8:01 a.m. March 30, 2009
Very much enjoy listening to Glenn, who seems to actually believe what he is saying and speaking for many of the quiet majority. Everyone is so worried about being politically correct, we overlook what is morally and ethically correct. This country has gotten so far away from what the Constitution was founded on and everyone is worried about how much I can make today and not worried about what debt is being passed onto our kids and grandkids. The administration needs to quit crying about what they inherited (every administration inherited something from the previous administration) and try to solve some problems instead of pleasing their Right and Left coast friends and get back to some basics. Socialism is right around the corner and someone needs to speak up for what is right instead of what might get them re-elected. "Government isn't the answer to the problem, government is the problem". Let's wake up, get back to some basics, pray for our leaders and hope our leaders will some day realize what is good for them, isn't necessarily what is good for the country.
Marla | 8:02 a.m. March 30, 2009
Keep up the great work Glen! I'm a huge fan! We need people like you in the media telling it like it is.
Grannyj | 8:02 a.m. March 30, 2009
You go Glenn Beck!! We proud Americans have needed someone like you to stand up for us and voice our feelings---And you are doing it. God Bless You and Gof Bless America
MapMaker | 8:02 a.m. March 30, 2009
While he appears theatrical, Glen Beck's positions resonate with those of us who are of the opinion the government is out of control and only wants unlimited power. Sometimes it's good to Hopefully, the voices of opposition are not silenced by those who want complicit obedience to current drum beat.
American | 8:03 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck points out what's wrong with our country under Obama. You ask what? When the President decides to fire the Chairman of GM, and can actually do it, we have crossed the line. Our freedom as we know it is disappearing by the day.
Rick | 8:03 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck is a great moral leader and teacher. He reminds us all that morality in our society today resides with conservativism.
cosmiccastaway | 8:03 a.m. March 30, 2009
I've listened to Glenn Beck's radio show for about 8 years. I watched his CNN show and I watch his FOX show. I see a lot of people calling him a nut case and this and that. I myself prefer to verify what he says through independent research. Though some of his views are subjective and therefore open to interpretation, he has always had his facts straight and encourages his viewers and listeners to find the truth for themselves. That's more than Keith Olbermann, Obama, moveon.org, Code Pink, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, or any other number of idealogues have done. The thing that gets people about Glenn is that he makes a point better than anyone else I know. He does it with biting sarcasm, parody, hyperbole, and in-your-face challenges. And for the record, he does not cut people off. He let Blagojovich go on and on and hang himself.
lilrhody | 8:03 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck is a voice that speaks to all of us. He's right up there with Rush, Hannity, OReiley, in that order
SAL | 8:03 a.m. March 30, 2009
Thank goodness we found Glenn Beck.

I hope & pray that obama is a one term president-- I don't trust him-- I don't think he even knows what he is doing-- he says one thing one day & says the opposite the next--

at least he has Hillery to try to help him
MikeW | 8:04 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn is the man!! I see the paid liberal bloggers who troll the Internet looking for conservative sites to trash were the first ones to jump on this one. Ever notice how they are the same people time after time? They are simply trying to influence the young uninformed and convince them that they need to be moderate and not extreme. We all know that is code talk for moderate left and not extreme right. Our constitution is under assault daily from this administration. Our Treasury sec. has not even read the document and has no understanding of what it means to defend it. Glenn is the voice in the wilderness crying out the warnings of what is ahead on the trail if we continue down the current paths. Go listen and learn, you will be impressed. He hates the republican party as much as the democrat party so anyone here who says he is a puppet for the right knows absolutely nothing about him. Go Glen! Keep it up
Classical Liberal | 8:04 a.m. March 30, 2009
"There have existed, in every age and every country, two distinct orders of men - the lovers of freedom and the devoted advocates of power"

Freedom lovers need to stand up and find their voice. We need to be heard by BOTH parties in Washington.
Anonymous | 8:04 a.m. March 30, 2009
I too watched the movie "Network" a few days ago. It's all about ratings folks! I did agree with Glenn last year regarding his respect for Ron Paul. But the "America" they teach in school is now nonexistent. Perhaps some socialism is not a bad thing. We have socialized police. Socialized libraries. Socialized road crews. Socialized fire departments. We definitely need universal healthcare. If a ship's captain continually steers the ship hard to the right, what direction will it go? IN A CIRCLE!
Save the US | 8:04 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck makes Bill O'Reilly look like Al Franken.
He speaks truth. If Beck's show was moved to a later time slot, his ratings would surpass that of the moderate, O'Reilly.
Practical Pete | 8:04 a.m. March 30, 2009
This type of hit-piece is expected by the NY Times. This story is nothing more than the next rung in the ladder of the conservative smear campaign by the NYT. The Old Lady is dying, and people are coming back to their senses in this country. Beck's newsletter has more paying subscribers than the NY Times. Don't believe me? Look it up. Obama proves everyday that he is not in this for the best of the country. I didn't agree with a lot that Bush did while in office, but this economic slide is property of the democrats. I.E. FHEFSSA, which led to sub-prime mortgage lending and Barney Frank's insistance on no regulation for the GSEs, which led to the housing bubble burst, the stock market slide and now the bail outs. Obama can't prop up the economy by printing money, and the one of two things will happen. The stock market will continue to slide, and we can print ourselves into massive inflation or the Govt can get out of the way and let the market correct. Glenn is speaking to we who still believe in and love the US!
Mike | 8:05 a.m. March 30, 2009
Have any of you Olbermann loving liberals found any of that hope and change you were promised yet? O'bama is a younger version of Jimmy "hide the hammer and nails" Carter. Glenn Beck is driving you guys nuts and it is a beautiful thing. You liberals are supporting a President that is not even a citizen of the United States. Rachel Maddow may be the man, Glenn Beck is really a man.
Merv | 8:05 a.m. March 30, 2009
To see Glenn in person, on stage, is to really understand the values and principles that make him who he is. Glenn is right on the mark with his observations and analysis of what is happening in the World. Thank You to Fox for getting him the exposure that he deserves and that we all need.
Buck Bagaw | 8:05 a.m. March 30, 2009
If you don't like Glenn Beck it's probably because he hit a nerve concerning a special interest you embrace or exposing a lie that you want to be the truth. Although an admitted conservative, his practice of turning over ALL the rocks is refreshing in these times of partisan protectionism. I just hope he doesn't burn himself out.
