He is most informed and eduacated, especially about history and the government. I listen to him on radio when I can, and find his view points unique and sound. As a student of history, I agree with many of his conclusions.

ExMoDon, one example of Beck lying? Can't just spew nonsense without proof. Beck gives it to both Republicans and Democrats which I love. Here lately, you can't tell the difference between them. Throw them all out of office.
CoCoa | 7:38 a.m. March 30, 2009
It's not a liberal/conservative thing with Beck. He's an equal opportunity critic of both parties.

Government spending is out of hand, the Constitution is being trashed and he's saying telling like it is.

He IS WORKING TO DEBUNK THE FEMA CAMP CONSPIRACY THEORIES. A non-partisan, outside organization is investigating it so the MYTH can be put to rest.

Glenn Beck is great. If you don't like him....don't listen to him...it's as easy as that.
Rudolph | 7:38 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glen Beck comes across as genuine, which is why he has a large and growing audience. If you don't like what he says, there's always Rachel who also comes across as genuine sometimes. The difference is that Rachel will not speak ill of her "kind," whereas Beck doesn't give a damn and will call a spade a spade, as they say.
RobinH | 7:38 a.m. March 30, 2009
I watch Glenn Beck every day. Unlike the Pro Obama cable networks, Beck talks about the concerns of the American people - and we do NOT like where Obama is taking our country - TRILLIONS of dollars in debt and just SPENDING more.
Producer | 7:39 a.m. March 30, 2009
Talk show hosts are a useful barometer of the national mood. With all the shrill Bush-haters now gone, new scrutiny is being given to the community organizer in the White House - and a lot of people (including Democrats) don't like what they see. Too bad - they should have paid more attention during the campaign. I'm expecting to see the 01-20-13 bumper stickers any day now.
Kathleen | 7:39 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck is wise beyond his years, and that, more than his talent, is what separates him from other on-air personalities. Audiences have grown weary of having our intelligence insulted by those who present themselves as talk show hosts when, in reality, they are nothing more than a parrot for the DNC or RNC. Glenn's success is based on the theory, "Find a need and fill it."
Anthony | 7:39 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck is the MAN! To call him uninformed just shows people's penchant for commenting on who they don't know and don't bother to find out about.
Wow...wait a second..."Don't know him." "Didn't bother to find out about him ." "Vote for him anyway." Didn't half of America just do that with our new "President?"
Obama in office reminds me of Orwell's book "Animal Farm":
When the pigs take over from the farmer, everything just got worse, not better.
Thank God for Glenn Beck.
Mark | 7:39 a.m. March 30, 2009
It is not any worse than someone who is trying to destroy the economy, distort our history, turn our government into "Big Brother", and eradicate our way of life as President.
Michael J | 7:39 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck may be one of the most dangerous men in America...because he speaks the truth!
ALJ | 7:39 a.m. March 30, 2009
I like Glen Beck but I'm a little suprised that he's a member of the "Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints"! Mormonism is a false doctrine that believes God gradually acquired the position of supreme being over a long period of time. They also believe that Jesus and satan are brothers. I could go on and on!

This doctrine is a pathway leading straight to hell!

Ron | 7:39 a.m. March 30, 2009
Our country is being run by party politics. The elected Morons no longer represent the people. They only represent their party..! They were put there to Govern ALL the People.. Not just the ones that give them GRAFT. Barney Frank and Chris Dodd should be ashamed of themselves. And there's not a shortage of idiot Republicans to go around either. They are just as much to blame.
al_fallujah | 7:39 a.m. March 30, 2009
oops, sry, "educated".
Daedalus | 7:40 a.m. March 30, 2009
Hulu, have you ever watched his show? He has some of the best economists on in the world, as well as historians and scientists. So if you are saying is he a historian, scientist or economist, then no of course not, but neither is any talking head on TV. While I don't agree with everything he says, he is one of the only people on the news who has at least a modicum of common sense.

Also, Anonymous, Bush didn't start world war 3 like we have been told every republican president will by the learned classes. And yes Obama is just starting out, but it would be irresponsible of us and the media to not critisize his policies with the same effort and thoroughness that was given to George Bush or any president before him.

Personally I hate government spending. Everyone complained about Bush's 500 billion dollar deficit, myself included, but those same people are mum about the non partisan CBO's estimate that the Stimulus and omnibus spending bill will incread the deficit to over 1.75 trillion dollars by 2010. So Bush spending evil, OBama spending good. Does that capture the logic correctly?
itsmeitsmeearnestT | 7:40 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck is awesome! He is wrapped in sensationalism but I can not say it is not warranted at the moment. Obama is a hypocrite and his agenda is destructive and a lot of folks are just sitting there shrugging their shoulders denying the reality.

If you are not into the theatrics then try to look past his emotional tirades and listen to the message, it is a valid one.
Dabic | 7:40 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn is one of TV's good guys. Truly trying to help our country. I do not always agree but fully support him. It becomes more obvious every day that Obama is setting out to destroy the USA as we know it.
Too bad... | 7:40 a.m. March 30, 2009
Nut jobs like Zulu and ExxonDon don't have a clue and just throw pasta at Beck and think it will stick.

It won't. He's not an elitist like Limburger. He's not "dancing with the stars" like Hannity tries to do with Whoopi. HE IS the real deal....

marinelender | 7:40 a.m. March 30, 2009
This guy represents the thinking of a large number of people in our country, don't dismiss him. We played by the rules and now are being asked to save those who laughed at us while they did not. From Wall Street millionaire to the little guy who lied on his loan application so he could speculate on real estate, you have all brought pain to those of us who did our jobs and lived within our means...don't be surprised at our anger.
John | 7:40 a.m. March 30, 2009
Though Beck uses antics that strain the imagination and he frequently over-reaches, he channels some very important concerns that deserve careful consideration. Regrettably, it takes a bull horn to break through the maffia that seeks to control the news of the day. We now live in a new world where the Gov't writes $30B checks to incompetents who promptly use $160M of our "bailout stimulus investment" to fund their bonus money. We now live in an America where the President can instantly fire the CEO of GM (he should fire the Union boss, while is at it!). We now live in an America which has, as a percent of GNP, printed far more "funny money" than in the sum of ALL previous recessions plus the Great Depression. So much for Change You Can Believe In. We now live in an America where it is impossible to be confident in our future - we have a Cute Prom King for President. He commands the stage beautifully, but take a look at the cliff he is driving us, at breakneck speed, toward. Wake up America --- before it is too late.
falcon15 | 7:40 a.m. March 30, 2009
The real, "sad state of affairs" are the tambourine-shaking hippies who embrace humanist pseudo-faith, the mixing of junk-science and religion and the vain attempt to all "just get along" in a socialist, proto-Gulag that is the Obama regime (you see now that he advocates the over-throw of executives who are not falling into line with his socialist policy).

I say that Beck is just the tip of the iceberg - there will be a million Beck's born from the insane policies of the profligate debauchee who are generation "O".
Tracy | 7:40 a.m. March 30, 2009
We have had time to see how Obama performs. I wish he hadn't done so much already. Don't you see his disregard for the Constitution? Don't you see he signs everything without reading it and no taking a pin line by line like he said to reduce wasteful spending? He is continuing all the failed policies of Bush and more. Bush spent too much money, but Obama is outspending him by trillions!!! Give him a chance? You want to give socialism a chance? He's violated the Constitution already in his first 100 days. He is anticapitalism which is the only way more people will have propsperity. You probably think he's swell b/c you went to an indoctrination camp known as public school.
MsTT | 7:40 a.m. March 30, 2009
Typically, anyone with a differing opinion will be painted as uninformed, ignorant, or racist. Right, zulu?
Realist | 7:40 a.m. March 30, 2009
I have watched Glenn Beck a few times. He's latched onto Rush Limbaugh's original schtick. Whip up the angry white men and blame the bottom of the barrel for their problems. Divide and blame. Oh, and toss in lots of lies & misinformation. He and the Republican elite count on the bigotted to support their lifestyles at the expense of their own best intersts.
John Galt | 7:41 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck is simply saying what the major news outlets won't say as they are in the tank for the liberal cause. There's a lot of news in his broadcasts you won't get anywhere else and there's a lot of speculation about the future that's over the top. But, he's well informed and quite knowledgable about history, economics and politics. He fully understands there are millions on Americans who live their lives conservatively and don't have any representation in their government and haven't had for 20 years...if not a 120. He's no nut...he's a smart, perceptive cookie, and very entertaining.
richard myers | 7:41 a.m. March 30, 2009
"Americans ... can govern themselves just fine without an overreaching, overintrusive, punitive and abusive "big brother" running our lives, confiscating our property and rights!"

I'm glad that Bush is gone, too.

Massachusetts Patriot | 7:41 a.m. March 30, 2009
Mr. Beck has taken FOX News by storm! He is a refreshing Conservative Voice that is so lacking as most Rebublican Politicians are part of the Spend-Spend-Spend variety and are beholden to their Campaign (Special Interest) Donors. I too am "Mad as Hell" and am glad Glenn has energized many many Americans.
common sense | 7:41 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck IS informed. He does his homework and voices an opinion that relates to most Americans.
Steve | 7:41 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck is entertaining and expresses how a lot of us feel. We will not allow the establishment of a socialist republic in North America.
Grassroots Gal | 7:41 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck stands for the very ideals our founding fathers fought for, and won through careful deliberation and costly revolution. Glenn's popularity should have our pompous politicians shaking in their U.N.- issued boots. Glenn's ideals are American ideals, and he is simply rekindling the smouldering flames of liberty our power-hungry "leaders" have been throwing the cold water of restriction and unjust taxation on for decades!
Paky | 7:41 a.m. March 30, 2009
I can see why Fox hired him - he stands for common sense and reminds Americans they need to stand up and fight back to save our country from Socialism. Giving to those on the take, by stealing from those who make, will never work. We need to clean house next election and elect many new honest leaders, by looking at how they voted, rather than what they claim. It is time for Americans to speak up and take a stand rather than let the attack machines continue shut up anyone, who dares disagrees with the current socialist agenda. "All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing."
BigD | 7:42 a.m. March 30, 2009
Hey Anonymous... I seem to recall the lib media ripping into Bush the day he took office. What's good for the goose.....
rjn16 | 7:42 a.m. March 30, 2009
Zulu, I'd say you are the uninformed one. Or perhaps you are one of those with their hands out hoping that Obama will pat you on the butt and take care of your every need. I for one don't need Obama, or any government official looking out for me. They need to get the hell out of our lives and allow this country to be what's it always been, the most productive, innovative and hardest working country on earth. Stealing money from us and now our children and grandchildren is not my idea of a government that has the best interest of its citizens in mind.
Weave | 7:42 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck's rise is in the peoples response to Obama's egomaniacal power grab, the likes of which this nation has never seen. There are people I run into every day who voted for Obama that are now waking up and questioning just who this guy is... mark my words, he's going to be worse than Carter, and given the fact that Carter couldn't hold a candle to George W. Bush, he may just go down as the worst President in our history. I don't need to give him a chance, because everything he's done is what I expected him to do, he is who he is, and the result will be bad for Americans. Glenn Beck's success is no accident, listen to the guy and he makes alot of sense (most of the time), he does get a bit emotional, but the man loves his country, I just wish I could say the same about our President.
Dale | 7:42 a.m. March 30, 2009
I gave twenty-six years to my country.

Know what I'm doing now? Sitting here dying of cancer.

Disabled Vietnam era Marine Corps Vet. 20 years at the post office and now, for whatever long I have left, I get a thousand a month. That will take care of the house payment, but the old lady is out working like a dog.

So, I'll try some help. Social Services. Food stamps. "Oh, you know that if we give you food stamps we will take that out of your retirement.

Yeah, Go Obama, right...

Where's my bailout?
Sheesh...

The uninformed knuckleheads posting comments against Beck so far either have no idea what he stands for and/or attended the same pulic schools and unions that he derides and Obama supports (hence the horrible spelling)! Even those that wanted to believe B.O. was the answer are already realizing he is just another mendacious politician AND a Socialist (not only is he unable to walk on water, but he can't even put a sentence together without a teleprompter)! Beck's ratings speak volumes- YOU are the ones who are surrounded!
Bob Hipple | 7:43 a.m. March 30, 2009
Who is Glenn Beck? A person who is well read, self educated and brave enough to speak the truth. He is a leader who is not afraid to risk his own wealth to proclaim the truth. That sounds a lot like the Founding Fathers of our country. God Bless him. We need more Americans to stand up and do what he is doing. I for one am tired of the politicians on both sides and the news media that are always talking and never coming to a point where they will stand for freedom. Are they not also afraid of loosing their rights? For now we live in America where we have freedom to speak out. People like Glenn Beck should be thanked for what he is willing to do.
ronjamin | 7:43 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck is only repeating what he is observing in America......these feelings run rampant throughout our country. And for good reason. Never before has government been so blatant in it's quest for power and control. A parallel can be drawn in countries we criticize: Russia, Venezuela, Cuba, China, North Korea.

Obama and company espouse a belief in a false prophet, and that prophets name is Government, NOT the people.
JohnOSrLINY | 7:43 a.m. March 30, 2009
World stock markets slide amid new auto, banking fears, pessimism G-20 TODAY's Drudge headline. "I'm mad as hell and am not going to take it anymore". Mr Beck is the best voice in a world gone mad. Obama and the Democrats are stealing from our children with no result and the world knows it. Thank God for Mr. Beck. His strong voice is a wake up call. Keep it up and I for one will listen and watch for the opportunity to protect myself and others.

I hope when Glen Beck gets over his emotional decision to join the Mormons, he will investigate Mormon claims, beliefs and realize that the Mormon religion is based on a farse.

All he has to do is investigate all the supposed geographic locations of the Book of Mormon and he will have to conclude that those places never existed. The Book of Mormon is fake.
Matt 5:10 | 7:44 a.m. March 30, 2009
"Zulu" of course is talking about Obama; the know nothing who has sucked in the know nothing liberals like Zulu. "Anonymous" should learn to spell. Oh wait, I'm sorry. You are a liberal. It is my fault you can't spell.
Liberals are a pathetic bunch. I use to be one, I know. I was young, on drugs, and self indulgent - the perfect liberal. I knew everything when I knew nothing. Obama is a narcissistic phony who is leading this country down a dark road. We survived the Bush years. That was his job - that we survive the assault of Islamofacism. We won't survive it much longer under Obama.
Anonymous | 7:44 a.m. March 30, 2009
On any website, you can see that the liberal comments have no facts, no reason, and no analysis--just insults. That's the sad state of affairs in this country. The left is unwilling to debate anything. All they can do is attack people personally. How sad...

GLEN BECK IS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR. I HOPE HE CAN HELP WAKE OUR NATION UP. JUST MAY BE WE COULD END UP WITH TERM LIMIT ON ALL ELECTED OFFICALS.

Go boy - you are the greatest!!!!! Honest, transparent, truthful, and full of zeal. So different, and refreshing.

Anyone who loves our Constitution, beleives in the Declaration of Independence is appalled at the way these documents are being shredded by a Socialist Administration catering to free loaders, anarchists, and America haters....a Free Press who should be impartial and investigative has become nothing more than the propaganda arm of an ever encroaching destructive collection of idealogues...
Jim | 7:44 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck is a breath of fresh air. He unravels the cover ups perpetrated by the career politicians and mainstream media that's in the tank for those politicians.

Buy some gold, folks. It will be the only viable medium of exchange in the next few years as Obama, Pelosi and Reid will spend us into financial oblivion.
chekmate2 | 7:44 a.m. March 30, 2009
In response to ExMoDon above, try using logic to respond to Beck's arguments instead of ad hominem attacks. If you disagree with him, do so point by point.
Gummybear | 7:45 a.m. March 30, 2009
Now the bashing begins.... the scorch earth policy begins... anything to bring down Glenn Beck because he makes good common sense and is a great communicator and there fore very dangerous to the frightening, cold hearted, power hungry far left who have control of America at the present.. They will do to Glenn what they have done to Sarah Palin and go after him with everything they have.... watch out America because we are in deep, deep trouble. You go Glenn and my heart is with you. We need a cheer leader like you to represent not any political party but just the "American people" of which I am one.
