Glenn is the voice that America has needed for a long time even when Bush was in office. Those who hate Glenn and think he's a nut does not understand the message he's trying to send. If you know anything about him you would know he's been giving this message for two years. Last time I checked Bush was in office during those years so don't be so quick to assume that he's just an Obama hater. Your hate for everything does not give you the right to assume the rest are like you.

Glenn Beck is one of the only people not afraid to speak the truth! I thank God he is willing to stand up and step forward. If you think he is a nut just go back and see how many things he said that have now come to pass! Our country is in deep trouble because the people we trusted (our elected officials) have failed us!!! WAKE UP!!!

More viewers than MSLSD and CON combined "That speeks for its self" their views are going down the drain.

Left or Right, right or wrong, Beck makes since. All you need to do is watch his show. If Beck is a nut job then so am I. And we need more people like him in this country.

"Beck seeks to rally disaffected, aggrieved Americans"

I'm neither disaffected nor aggrieved.

I'm horrified at the small(ness) of the minds of the men and women who purport to be national leaders these days, and their small, unimaginative, self-serving notions of the peoples' good.

The understand somewhere between little and nothing about the origins and design of this country.

Glenn Beck may go over the top on occasion, but, at the very least,he gets what's happening to America and communicates it well.
Anonymous | 7:33 a.m. March 30, 2009
This man has no hidden agenda, only that he loves this country passionately. I guess that seems "nutty" to people who only care about themselves and what they can get from this government without working for it. That's the sad state of affairs.
jharrisconnor | 7:33 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck is right on...people need to understand that the government runs nothing well...why would we want to entrust our healthcare, retirements, or anything else to them....Oh and zulu you are the one who is uninformed...what does Beck's popularity in Utah have to do with anything at all? Please inform me...waiting to hear from you...

Glenn for President!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous is obviously not very well educated based on his or her spelling. Goodness. And the uneducated LOVE Obama since they think he is the savior of the world, and will solve all their financial problems by taxing the evil rich. Ever get hired by a person on welfare? I doubt it. Soon the entire country will all be poor, but I guess then we will all be equal. Obama doesn't want anyone to be wealthy, but he inked a $500 million book deal in January. I don't see him giving that back. Furthermore, he is taking over 500 people with him to Europe! How much is that costing us, and what about the carbon emissions. He is a hypocrite of grand proportions.

Glenn Beck is going to MC the Stadium of Fire again? That's a lovely production, but with his partisan zealotry I'm staying home--and I'll convince my friends to do so as well. With all the troubles in the world right now, we don't need more hate and vitriol, and that's what Beck brings to the table. I'll protest by spending my dollars elsewhere.
Heck yeah | 7:33 a.m. March 30, 2009
Finally, someone who is in touch with the regular guy. Someone who believes in the Constitution and the ideals it was built on. Someone who sees that we CAN govern ourselves.
Mike | 7:33 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck is merely the iceberg tip of a growing, increasingly better-organized, conservative revolution. He's everyman, and he speaks the words many have in their hearts. He's B. Hussein's worst enemy, and will lead the movement to remove this empty-suit communist from power.
Lexa | 7:33 a.m. March 30, 2009
Thankyou Glenn! Finally someone with common sense and brains sorting out the mess we are now in.
Dan Katich | 7:33 a.m. March 30, 2009
In my 79 years I have never been more disappointed in our leadership. This morning I awake and find the President has forced the CEO of GM to step down. I voted for a President, not a dictator.
Further more The President is telling the auto makers to build battery operated autos, where is the energy coming from to charge millions of cars at night. Solar power does not work at night. Not one word to build clean nuke plants to ween us away from overseas oil. I am also opposed to the bail outs, This administration has already spent more money, that we do have, than any previous administration in our history. I could go on but I believe we are in deep trouble and this Leadership does not have a clue.
Sam | 7:34 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck speaks a lot about what people want to hear especially the need to stricktly adhear to our constitution and not trying to change it so that we end up with a socialist country. You can't take the hard earned assets of the productive and give them to the unproductive! they will just have to work harder to get ahead like the productive did. Lowering the bar much like the test grades serves to make us all useless and dumb, there always needs to be a winner and the desire to do better and achieve.
Scotty... | 7:34 a.m. March 30, 2009
He's too coy and cutsie for me--a real smokehouse ham strutting his stuff in front of the TV cameras with a wink and a knowing grin. I may agree with his message but enough already with the mugging. Makes me cringe and want to switch channels. He even upstages Bill O'Reilly when they chat.
Craig | 7:34 a.m. March 30, 2009
Look at FOX ratings v. MSNBC and the other shill outlets for Obama. 2:1 or better ratings! Newspapers are folding all over the nation. People are tired of hearing how wonderful the liberal agenda is--they want the other side of the story presented by FOX anchors and talk radio. Liberalism is ruining this country and a revolt against the current administration is mounting. Insult Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, Savage, all you want, but ratings rule. If they get you to put down the remote control, they win.
Hey libs, instead of patting yourself on the back congratulating each other on being the smartest ones in the room, practice the tolerance you preach and give an objective ear.
Anonymous | 7:34 a.m. March 30, 2009
When all is said and done many will look back and say, "Glenn was right." The handwriting is on the wall.
Conservachick | 7:34 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck is awesome, People are just annoyed because he is speaking the truth and pointing out the facts to the destruction of America. Those who criticize him are either A. so in love with Obama that they won't see the truth (just like the "opposition"was with Bush)or B. Hate this country so much that they are enjoying it's destruction and would rather quiet those that are stirring the pot up. Just remember one thing, Cuba wanted change in 1960, & They got it! Are we next??? Because things aren't looking good at all...
Shane | 7:34 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn has a group of people to speak too because we have a government who thinks they are elected royalty. Pelosi and her use of the military transportation, Obama and the rest of the senate acting like they know something about economics. What does Obama know about economics? He is a lawyer who never really practiced law, he was a senator for 160 days before a presidential run, he was a guy who worked at getting people on the voter roles in Chicago. No where in his resume did he ever run a business or study economics. We are in trouble and Beck sees it. He may not be right on all issues but at least he admits he might not be right. A democrat will never admit that.
MtnMyst | 7:34 a.m. March 30, 2009
I take issue with "zulu" about Glenn's being "uninformed". He is a voracious reader, and his guests are truly knowledgible about their topics. Glenn translates the politically correct gobbledygook which comes out of D.C. into understandable English. I read somewhere that when you hear "truth" it will resonate in your soul. When I listen to Glenn, I feel that resonance. He is not afraid to say something even if it is scary or painful, but at the same time he will offer common-sense solutions or actions which can be taken to solve the problem. I hope Glenn's show will continue on for a long time - - I know that I'll be watching and enjoying it!
Rocky Patel | 7:34 a.m. March 30, 2009
"unhinged" was the key word in this report.
Bamba123 | 7:34 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck frightens the liberals, because he is speaking the truth about what is happening. Bush may have not "communicated" well, but he kept us SAFE. The current administration is considering the enemy as mis-guided criminals. He treats OUR money as his to re-distribute. He is dangerous, your right though hasn't been pres long, but in a few more years, you will be squealing like a pig when he has gotten to your money... GO GLENN
nohyphenamerican | 7:35 a.m. March 30, 2009
OBAMA signed a bill that he had not read..not much of a leader.

You are right , the more BECK and people like him talk the better!!!!

He's not afraid to stand up for his country and to rally the people that feel that we are being used to support welfare programs and big business.

We need to have the main stream ABC, NBC etc be less left and be the people's side .

GO BECK!!!! He's not only popular in Utah. He has the #2 cable program. Sooooo, zulu, move..I'm sure there are a lot of people that would love to help you out of your misery...

God Bless you Glenn Beck. You keep doing what you're doing!

Glenn Beck is a true patriot and great leader for Americans who love freedom and liberty. I've listened to him for 8 years and his show gets better every day. I can't even releate to people who wouldn't like his show. Best of luck to Glenn.

Hard Thought | 7:35 a.m. March 30, 2009
Zulu, the audience he speaks to is very well informed and doesn't like the idea of a "nanny state" whose embrace one can't escape. That is facism.

And Mr. Beck does understand the topics you so cavalierly dismiss. He just doesn't think the government is the answer to every problem as you and a lot of others do.

The reason you think he is uninformed is that you continue to suck at the government teat and want the rest of us there, too. No thank you.
per14 | 7:35 a.m. March 30, 2009
"His popularity in Utah speaks for itself."

Wow. And people say conservatives are intolerant.
Buckeyemom | 7:35 a.m. March 30, 2009
This man is not an idiot. He's a well read individual who has studied how this country has come about. How many of us can say the same? We are a Republic founded using a certain number of laws in the Constitution. These laws keep government under control & keep the people free. If we stray away from the Constitution, freedom will be lost.
Dude from Texas | 7:35 a.m. March 30, 2009
I find it incredibly significant that since Beck moved to Fox from CNN, his ratings have sky rocketed. CNN was never the proper format for his commentary. I, for one, am glad he moved to FOX and continues to be the voice of conservatism. He is bright and well-spoken. Hey Anonymous the Democrats never gave Bush a chance after the 2004 election. From day 1 they attacked him and his policies. So just stop with this lets give him a chance stuff. The fact is the economy has been sliding ever since the Democrats controlled the House and the Senate in 2006.
Teresa | 7:35 a.m. March 30, 2009
How the heck is Beck a "nut and a liar".. duh... all he is doing is speaking the truth about america... that the politicans on both sides are not listening... that the government is growing way to big... that the constitution is being trampled... if anyone had any sense at all, you would see that! go Glenn!
Patriot | 7:35 a.m. March 30, 2009
At some point, all of the Obama voters are going to wonder why their mortgage isn't being paid, why their groceries are not free, and why they still have to pay for their gas. I agree a change was needed, as I was not a Bush supporter in the least, but Obama is a lunatic, and is inacting policies that will negatively change not only this country but the world forever. To quote Rage Against the Machine, the time is coming when we will have to 'take the power back'. Conservatives, Liberals, and Moderates better wake up before it's too late.

Beck is a realist, and there is alot of truth to what he says, whether you agree with his politics or not. It's happening, some of us just see it more clearly than others, but it won't be long before it trickles down to everyone.
spence318 | 7:36 a.m. March 30, 2009
First obama has little interest in being the president of the usa he is setting the plate for his run as the first ruler of the world. Right now america is being weakened and the un is starting to bind the world with deeds that take sovereign rights away from independent states the new world goverment will be in place by the end of obamas term as head/leader of the un. his term will run from 1/1/2022 when he will be 61 untill at least 12/31/31 that will be 2 terms but we know obama he will want that 3rd term the history making one.
obleo | 7:36 a.m. March 30, 2009
zulu: " In a nutshell...someone who is uninformed ahout economy, history, government, science and more preaching to an audience who is equally uninformed."

---You are talking about Obama aren't you?
nolie | 7:36 a.m. March 30, 2009
No sane person could listen to Glenn Beck and not agree with 95% of what he says. The nut cases are in charge in Washington and at CNN and NBC. Thank God for the truth we hear on Fox. It's hard to believe that CNN and the big three networks were once reasonably honest news outlets instead of the slobbering mad dog political outlets they are now.
Doglegright | 7:36 a.m. March 30, 2009
Anonymous,
You are hilarious. Yes, Obama is just beginning his "work". He's already spent 1 billion per hour in his first 50 days.
I see very little that Obama is changing regarding the military. He said he would immediately withdraw from Iraq, now he is escalating another front: Afghanistan....

And.. Learn to spell....
Alpha | 7:36 a.m. March 30, 2009
So, zulu, in a nutshell you managed to go ad hominem on a state ( and by extension a segemnt of people )while calling those who disagree with your views basically ignorant; a tough day's work You work for CNN, do you?
whosaidthat | 7:36 a.m. March 30, 2009
someone who is uninformed ahout economy, history, government, science and more preaching to an audience who is equally uninformed.

Sounds like the Obama campaign.

While Beck may seem a little out of it by casual Americans, they should take time to think about life being more than going out to eat, sports, and any other things people do for leisure. Americans need to wake up to the fact that out of touch politicans are not looking out for our best. These so called leaders are more engrossed in what they can obtain for themselves or their party rather than taking our country down the correct path for protecting us and ensuring that we have the opportunity for life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It would be wise for people to consider the points Beck brings up since many in Washington do not appear to long for the life we have had in the past.
Freedom fighter | 7:37 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck is speaking for all of us, and we are grateful to have his voice. Our own elected officials still are not listening and it's going to cost them their seats.
New Mexican for Independence | 7:37 a.m. March 30, 2009
He does not say we are a disaffected minority. Just the opposite. We are a disaffected majority. Those who are loudest are being heard. We have to raise our voices. It isn't about violence, it is about being heard.
Anonymous | 7:37 a.m. March 30, 2009
In response to ExMoDon and Zulu:

Those kinds of hateful ad hominem attacks are typical of individuals who have come to the conclusion that their own arguments are inadequate and defective.

Instead of offering counter arguments on policy they spew offensive personal polemics.

Instead of debating facts, realizing the deficit of their own knowledge and understanding they contribute nothing but spiteful and spurious offense.
Small Government | 7:37 a.m. March 30, 2009
Admittedly I am conservative on goverment interefing with business, but their track record speaks for itself. Social security (insolvent) Medicare Medicaid (Full of fraud and running out of money) Post office (losing billions) Government budget (trillions in the red and getting worse. As an individual if you can't pay your existing bills, the credit companies don't tell you to spend more and it will be ok. Do you want bereaucrats making decisions on your health, I don't. They can't even run the post office well. I won't even touch the debate about why we are in the financial crisis we are in but suffice to say that in my opinion government has as much to do with it or more than private enterprise. I think Glenn Beck speaks to the individuals, which all of us are...and need to keep our ability to take on personal responsibility
Mike | 7:37 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn is the most honest and rational voice om radio or TV.
He speaks the truth.
I had been a solid Democrat for 24 years but the Democrat party has turned socialist.
Russ | 7:37 a.m. March 30, 2009
Another bias hit job by the New York Times News Service!

Now that Beck is popular and a threat to the liberals, the new york times does what it does to all those with opposing views, attempts to marginalize them.

Disaffected and Agrieved must mean allthose not buying the Mesiah's BS, as well as those not on the handout list.
Arkansas Jaybird | 7:37 a.m. March 30, 2009
From where I am in this small part of the universe, the man seems to make sense just like the folks that started this nation did not so long ago.
Howard Beale | 7:37 a.m. March 30, 2009
Why try to re-engineer our economic and social fabric in a crisis? Fix the problems first! Why doesn't anyone get that???

Any problem solving model focuses on the root cause and you then develop the corrective action AROUND the root cause. We throw billions at the financial institutions and NEVER address the root cause...CRA loans developed in 1977 and exploded from 1996-2004. By 2006 they were 25% of the outstanding mortgages, and about 75% of the sub-primes. What are we doing about these loans and this ACORN grown unravelling of America? If you said "Nothing," you are right on the money.
teach | 7:38 a.m. March 30, 2009
Obama is a very dangerous man. He is stomping over our constitution. He is a fraud, and as far as I am concerned he became president with the help of his corrupt organizations, mainly ACORN and the unions and his great friend George Soros. Unless true Americans stand together, he is taking us down the path To Communism. His cabinet speaks for itself.
Chas | 7:38 a.m. March 30, 2009
You guys are so contradictory. You cling to your liberal ideals "Coexist, diversity, anti-discrimination... and the list is longer than a roll of toilet paper" then as soon as someone disagrees with you, you start attacking and want them gone. Simply amazing how your brains can function like that.

Celibate diversity, don't be a closed minded liberal.
Mike Garcia | 7:38 a.m. March 30, 2009
It just goes to show that not all Americans were ignorant enough to fall for Obama, the used car salesman, who is now selling us beach front property on Mars, and we're all smiling about it...
