Glen Beck is the most refreshing person on TV. He opens up a window for us to see the "other" view than what the Barney, Dodd, Pelosi, and Reid view. I WANT to know when $11B of stimulus money goes to a French bank while Americans are losing their jobs, and Barney, Dodd, Pelosi, Reid and Obama are pretending that the $200M in bonuses is what we should be angry about. I'm tired of hearing that we have to destroy U.S. society as we know it and become a socialist society as the only way to economic recovery. I'm tired of the vicious personal destruction every time someone disagrees with Obama. I guess freedom of speech only applies if you agree with the socialist view.

Beck speaks the truth. Thats why the libs are running scared. Libs, Do yourselves a favor and take a REAL civics course so you will understand how our country was founded and what priciples and rights were givin to us by our creator and our founding fathers. Better yet, read the constitution.
Carol Russell | 7:20 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Becks speaks for all of us out here who are fed up with the corruption in our government. I lived in Utah and it is full of people who are law abiding and socially conscious.

To ExMoDon and Zulu: Gosh, it sure is easy to just hit and run without any intelligent arguments or back-up evidence, isn't it.

The values, morals and principles that Glenn teaches are EXACTLY what we need in today's scary world. These principles are the ONLY things that are going to save our country from the onslaught of wrongheaded and unamerican policies we are being bombarded with.

Glenn is a smart and sincere guy who is outraged by the current crisis and is on a mission to bring good and patriotic people together for a righteous cause.

Go Glenn! No matter how many lost, misguided people attack you, know that what you're doing is right!
JENNNIFER | 7:20 a.m. March 30, 2009
EXMODON, YOU ARE RIGHT THE MORE GLENN BECK TALKS THE BETTER. HE CERTAINLY HAS YOUR ATTENTION. KEEP LISTENING. MAYBE YOU WILL EVENTUALLY GET IT.
Mark in Marathon | 7:20 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glen is an honest commentator. He observes America, and reports what he sees. If you don't like it, change the channel to PMSNBC and listen to Keith Olbermann. That will make you a Beck fan for sure.
Ramona | 7:20 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck is the greatest! He's calling it the way it is! Doesn't anyone see the writing on the wall? Beck does! Since when can the Government (Obama) fire a CEO of a private company? America, you have voted in a Socialist! You are giving away your freedoms! When the government gets into the private sector are freedoms are gone! We are turning into a third-world country. Wake up! Beck is right - government needs to stay out of business - government doesn't know how to run companies. America needs to shut down Obama's budget! $3.5 trillion is unbelievable! Beck is right, Obama is in over his head. He's making decisions that is not well thought out, and world leaders know he's naive.
America's security is at stake. While Obama is concentrating on renaming the 'war on terror' and setting enemies free in our backyard, dumbing down our Health Care System, cyber-spies are hacking into America's computers and stealing our security secrets. Keep going Beck - get the truth out there! Somebody has to wake up America before it's too late!

Glenn Beck for president
Darkmetal | 7:20 a.m. March 30, 2009
What people don't get about Beck is that the guy is very sharp. The Left, as well as the self devouring faux Conservatives will try to paint him as a teary eyed buffoon, but will fall short.
Glenn takes the symbolism of Ronald Reagan and pairs it with his own comedic timing. While the issues he deals with are serious, you can't help but laugh at times at how funny the guy really is.
At the same time, they guys who should be laughing it up such as Olbermann and Mathiews are grinding their teeth as his ratings skyrocket. They need to get used to it.
Jill | 7:20 a.m. March 30, 2009
I think he is great, watch him every day.
BJG | 7:20 a.m. March 30, 2009
The anti-Obama movement is just getting started. Beck and other opposition voices are just going to get stronger.
Capitalist Pig | 7:21 a.m. March 30, 2009
Anonymous - Pull your head out of the sand and look at what preident uhhh hussein has already done to the USA before making silly "let's wait and see" comments like that!

zulu - you sound just like a dailykos dolt who has never even watched Glenn's show, on top of your lousy government school education - plus you missed calling Fox "faux news", minus 5 more points!

Glenn scares the masses of marxist obomanites with his show and his ratings, with good reason! ROCK ON GLENN!!!
Greg West | 7:21 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck is awesome, he gets it.
Edsel | 7:21 a.m. March 30, 2009
Zulu, I would say he is very informed. Govt does not have the power from the constitution to do what he is doing. As Holder said he wants to disarm the people, he will brake the country at this rate. We do not have trillions of dollars. Britians MOP tells it like it is, Daniel Hannan MEP: The devalued Prime Minister of a devalued Gov. This is where we are. I have been pulling the wagon long enough.
Everyman | 7:21 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn speaks for the NORMAL people in this country, not all the fruitcakes looking for handouts and attention.
David Brehan | 7:21 a.m. March 30, 2009
Whatever he is, he's real. You get what you see and virtually no other host can say that. His critics are frightened of him because they know people connect with him. And they know they can't take him down the usual way, because he is an average Joe. Besides, he's hilarious and doesn't take himself so seriously.
MidEastVet | 7:21 a.m. March 30, 2009
ExMoDon - Who are the nuts? Who is listening? Well, I guess I am a nut - I knew I was crazy the minute I stepped off the plane in the Middle East to defend ingrates such as yourself. I knew I was nuts when after being wounded for the 72nd, and last time as a New York City police officer so I could shield ingrates such as yourself. I guess I am just part of the preponderance that watch Fox News and actually get both sides of the story, not just the one side like YOU people watch on MSNBC, CNN, and read on Huffington.
ZULU - I believe you are the uninformed one on economics - 6 years of economic intensification under Bush - dealing with a congress for two years that were lame ducks and the lowest rated congress in recent history. Keep printing money and you'll see where we are - take a look at pre-WW2 Germany. But I guess you wouldn't do that since you are perhaps ignorant to facts!
Average Joe | 7:21 a.m. March 30, 2009
I'm a 62-yr old business owner. I've joined a Glenn Beck Meetup Group. On Saturday morning we had over 150 people; average, hard-working, tax-paying people just like you and me at the meeting. The silent majority was silent...so not it is not the majority. We either work to regain our liberty, our money and our country or we continue to lose by default. I'm not a religious person, but I'll say God Bless Glenn Beck.

In response to Anonymous:

I would have to recommend paying closer attention. In particular to the markets. Whether or not you attribute the loss of a trillion dollars of American wealth, after some 28 years of growth, directly to Obamas policies or not, it's still much worse. A little objectivity is in order my friend.

I would agree that Bush in his spending spree, particularly with the TARP bill contributed to the problem, however, Bush was never a friend to the Conservative movement and betrayed free market principles at the end of his term.

But liberal Democrats NEVER gave Bush the benefit of the doubt. And after 9/11 only suspended their attacks on his presidency for too brief a time.
Ubiquitous | 7:21 a.m. March 30, 2009
I would rather watch an honest man pointing to problems, than a pompous jerk pointing at people. Olbermann, are you listening?!?!
Anonymous | 7:22 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck out-pacing Racheal M is not a big story, she is nothing but a perverted lesbian and her viewers make up the pro-sodomy wing of the liberal demo party, which is a small but loud super minority.
Steve Rogers | 7:22 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck, on his radio show at least, has been a bit like the doctor you go to see when you know something is wrong but you really don't want to know how bad things have become. With few commentators in the mainstream media reviewing the catalysts that precipitated the financial crisis unless they can somehow discover someone in the Bush administration as a culprit, there is a need for another voice that takes more than a two minute segment to begin to explain what the hell happened to us and what may occur if we continue to ignore the various conditions that are pressing our culture and economy. Don't hate the messenger, listen and determine for yourself. Mr. Beck has made it clear to his listeners that they not follow what he says blindly, but seek out information on their own to come to their own conclusions.
hfloyd | 7:22 a.m. March 30, 2009
He is absolutly right.the taxpayers and freedom loving Americans are finally being represented.
We are loosing our freedoms every day and those who took an oath to protect the Constitution are the ones who are trashing it,
Truthy | 7:22 a.m. March 30, 2009
I do love how he scares the hell out of liberals. Many of us see through the liberal agenda and we will not be intimidated. Be scared liberals. You have every reason to be.
shiningcity | 7:22 a.m. March 30, 2009
Those of you who don't care for Beck, and are making claims, you presented NO evidence. If he is lying, where's an example? If he's uninformed, what is your evidence?

Baseless claims only make the accuser seem emotionally motivated by hate.
Sam Adams | 7:23 a.m. March 30, 2009
APRIL 15th TEA PARTY!!!
Wake up America!!
MN Boy | 7:23 a.m. March 30, 2009
The political class no longer answers to the people of this country. They have become professional government career holders. Beck only echoes a growing discomfort of the voters who know our government is no longer "..of the people, by the people, for the people". The fact that about a 1/4 of Americans pay no income tax is not helping. From the leadership, no statemanship. From our fellow Americans, a growing burden of those who do not contribute but feel entitled to a contribution. Any wonder the regular folks are disaffected?
Pedro | 7:23 a.m. March 30, 2009
To all who have never listened to the man…HE”S RIGHT! He said during the Bush years to stop trampling the Constitution. He’s saying the same thing now under Obama…Stop trampling the Constitution!
Glenn Beck is more informed then most politicians running out nation.
Beck’s opinion is that the Republicans and the Democrats are taking us to the same place. If anyone can honestly say this is not true then you need to check yourself into a clinic for HELP.
The critics of Beck need to get over themselves listen to him and RESEARCH what he says, not what you were told he said.
I do the research and I don’t always agree with him, yet more then 90% of the time I find that I do. Do yourself a favor and do your own home work.
Anonymous | 7:23 a.m. March 30, 2009
I think we need someone like Beck to point out to us what O'Bama promised before the election and the reality of what is going on after he has been elected. Those middle class tax cuts GONE not in this Budget.Transparent Government GONE.Only going to tax people who make $200,000 or more GONE.Not hiring Lobbyist GONE. Thanks to Beck I am starting to hear others like CNN starting to ask the tough questions and asking for some real answers.
Joe | 7:23 a.m. March 30, 2009
I don't know. I kind of like what he has to say. I find myself agreeing with him quite a bit. He makes sense to me.
flicker | 7:23 a.m. March 30, 2009
He tells it like it is...no sugar coating. Facts are Facts and he presents the FACTS. God Bless Glen Beck!!!
cakes | 7:23 a.m. March 30, 2009
Keep up the good work Glenn. With all the Tea Parties and with what you are doing with the 9/12 project, people are starting to take notice. We can and will make a difference. You and everyone else standing up for our country gives me great hope and patriotism.
Jim in PA | 7:23 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck is the future! Rush and Hannity are far too moderate to save us from this leftist Obama. We need more outrage, we need more hosts like Glenn Beck and Hal Truner.
imakecents | 7:23 a.m. March 30, 2009
ExMoDon,

You're right........Beck aint no union boss!
And his flock ain't edjucatid readers.
Freedom | 7:24 a.m. March 30, 2009
When calamity occurs the strong carry the weak to safe ground where the weak complain about their circumstance and the strong get back to work. Be strong, Glen.
xiazon | 7:24 a.m. March 30, 2009
Hey Zulu and ExMoDon, I think you better just keep watching Keith Olbermann and spewing liberal propoganda. You want to talk about uninformed? You peole are the reason this country is on the fast track to hell. Conservatives get their ideas and values from the founding fathers and the constitution. Liberals get their views from Sean Penn and the rest of Hollywood. Yeah, and we are the ones who are uninformed. Just go bury your head in the sand and follow this administration blindly like the sheep you are.
Candy | 7:24 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn is the only media person to speak the truth. He nailed it on the economy, stock market and the government taking control of businesses. Those who thought it was bad under Bush because he spent too much, are still willing to give Obama a free pass on his quadrupling of the debt in less than 3 months. Half the country also gets a free pass on paying taxes while the other half pays for everything they think is free.
jimmr | 7:24 a.m. March 30, 2009
God Bless Glen Beck, an honest voice in the wilderness!
George | 7:24 a.m. March 30, 2009
Anonymous,
It doesn't take a crystal ball to see the disasterous outcome of the statist spending Obama and his tax cheating Treasury Secratary iare proposing. They are out of control.
zulu,
The sad state of affairs is that we elected a no experience far left idealogue that is still on the campaign trail and bumbling at every turn. We can Hope he changes perhaps but I don't see that coming. America made a big mistake. Witness the backlash. Read Mark Levin's Liberty and Tyranny.
Mr. Beck is a good guy with some very common sense observations. The viewers recognize this and are drawn to it, Where else are they finding it?
A Better Tomorrow | 7:24 a.m. March 30, 2009
The movement is growing. I invite all who care about America to stand up and join the 912 project. We are not right wingers or lefties, we are Americans. Americans who care about our freedoms, our independence, and our future. Beck is simply saying what the majority in the middle have been feeling now for several years. Its not Dems or Reps and its not Bush or Obama. It is Washington in general that has lost touch with the real America. If you are tired of Government solutions that cost Billions and not Trillions and never seem to work and government hands in every aspect of our lives; join us.
Quit taking my money! | 7:25 a.m. March 30, 2009
Generally I think the people that are tired of having their money confiscated and redistributed by the government agree with Glenn, and those that are at the receiving end of others money hate him.

BTW yes, things are a LOT worse now than when Bush was in office. I wasnt a fan of Bush, but the road we are being led down by Obama makes me wish Bush were back. Ouch, that hurts to say
Cogs | 7:25 a.m. March 30, 2009
Pitchforks and torches time.
Emily | 7:25 a.m. March 30, 2009
Thank God for Glenn Beck. He's one of the FEW who have the GUTS to tell the truth to the American people!

I was unsure whether FoxNews would allow Beck to have free reign to tell the truth, but they don't seem to be censoring him as much as they were censoring their other hosts around and prior to the election.
Mary Kay | 7:25 a.m. March 30, 2009
We Americans are mad and we need to let our corrupt politians know we have had enough. There is a reason He is so polular, HE SPEAKS THE TRUTH.
DeOpressoLiber | 7:25 a.m. March 30, 2009
Obviously you idiots that critisize him haven't seen or heard his shows. The guy is injecting humor and reality in a time that is hard for alot of US in the TAX Paying majority. He is softening the blow that this Marxist president is inflicking on us, through laughter and awareness. Glenn is a provayer of hope, and the "can do attitude of the American people", which is the core foundation of the once great country. Obama is a provayer of grief and victimism, and sees our country as the provayer of the worlds pain. And he is taking this county to a third world status....Yea, that will stop the pain. Right? I don't think so.
That's not my kind of Change.

Zulu: | 7:25 a.m. March 30, 2009
Lumping everyone in Utah into one nice little package says more about you than it does about Utah.

Thank you Mr. Beck for standing up for what you believe in even when others seek to discredit you simply because they do not agree with you.
bobpl | 7:25 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn usually says what I am thinking, --and sometimes hesitant to say it.
cdubbs | 7:25 a.m. March 30, 2009
Thank you Glenn for calling it like you see it. The viewing numbers speak for themselves. Free speech is what America is all about.
Larry DeWein | 7:25 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck tells it like it is. He's not afraid to stand up for old fashioned traditional & Christian values.
Dan204 | 7:25 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck is speaking to the fears of a lot (majority?) of Americans. His distrust of politicians echos that of a great many of us. IMO, his popularity is his ability to speak for those Americans who now feel disenfranchised by the "Progressive" politicians and their media stooges.
