"How could we critisize a president without giving a time to see an out come"? You mean like you weasles did with President Bush? I'll give your president the same respect you gave mine. Has dan blather come up with the birth certificate for curious george?

Watch the show and at least get another view of the political scene instead of swallowing all the liberal news that you hear. You might learn something
SAL | 7:15 a.m. March 30, 2009
I'm happy I found him-- where can we find him in the morning--
jack | 7:15 a.m. March 30, 2009
been listening to Glenn for years. love his common sense approach and his ability to tell it like it is.
more people should be involved instead of sitting on the sidelines
Tracy | 7:15 a.m. March 30, 2009
So ZULU why don't you take the time to inform us if you think you know it all.
Woody | 7:15 a.m. March 30, 2009
You Loony-Lefties like "Zulu" and "ExMoDon" just prove our point. The inmates are running the asylum, and we're not going to let you ruin the USA. Glenn Beck is focusing attention on the growing majority of Americans that are angry with what we see happening to our nation. We are not going to bend over for you anymore. We will fight you.
LuK | 7:15 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck speaks for those of us who fear for our country and the direction in which politicians seems to be pushing it - soialism. He predicted the current financial mess months before it happened. He is not ashamed to love his country, the Constitution, and his freedom, as do millions of other Americans who are mocked and belittled for clinging to their guns and religion. His popularity is the result of those millions being relieved "they are not alone".
LYNN | 7:15 a.m. March 30, 2009
I enjoy Glenn Beck's show! Zulu, can you spell? This is not about democrat vs. republican... this is about the future of our children and grand children. In a way, I think it is good that we have to give up credit cards and the youth of today will have to do without all the latest cell phones and ipods. I think kids need to play out side and use their imaginations. Young people today need to understand you get self-respect through hard work not as a hand out from the government or your parents. Something we are very short on these days! Hard times will be good for this nation!
Worried Mom | 7:15 a.m. March 30, 2009
I am with Glenn . . . I am mad as hell and Washington SHOULD pay attention . . . Obama is swiftly undermining our Constitution and setting forth Socialism at an unbelievable pace . . . and for those of you who say, give Obama a chance - it has only been a short time . . . look what he has done in such a short time! Pay attention! Bush is gone . . . stop using excuses. Do you know what a Trillion dollars looks like? They printed a Trillion dollars. It looks like a nightmare for our children. Does anyone remember the inflation of the late 70's/early 80's. Do you know how a Trillion dollar deficit multiplies after years of continued spending? "How could we criticize a president without seeing the outcome?" . . . The outcome is going to be a disaster . . . the writing is on the wall . . .
obiewan | 7:15 a.m. March 30, 2009
I see the typical knee jerk liberal hacks are posting here. Any conservative that gains popularity must be torn down in their eyes while they give people like Olbermann a pass. Glenn Beck represents a huge number of Americans and my guess is they probably include more Democrats than most liberals care to admit. There is an uprising in this country that is being fueled by Obama's socialist agenda and it cuts across party lines. Beck isn't wrong in what he is saying and many, many people know he speaks the truth.
Catmandu | 7:15 a.m. March 30, 2009
What is that supposed to mean? Is there some problem with people in Utah? You, my friend, must be a religious bigot. Uninformed? For you to make comments like that, does nothing but display your level of ignorance. Glenn Beck is a beacon of truth. I challenge anyone to prove him wrong on his statements of fact. The rest is his opinion. That's what he gets paid for.....his opinion. And obviously others agree with him. Look at his ratings! I get so tired of people spouting off about the LDS religion when they know nothing about it. I guess people have a big problem with those of us that are just trying to make a great life for ourselves and our families and try to become a self-sufficient as possible. It must be completely intimidating for you people for us to believe in God and his Son Jesus Christ and want everyone to know of the peace and happiness that it brings to us everyday.
You should spend more energy getting YOUR facts straight and less energy blasting on what you know nothing about.
Ronny RayGun | 7:16 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck is the man! His voice is that man speaking the truth. Liberals are destroying America.
Adam D | 7:16 a.m. March 30, 2009
Great Comment ZULU. Way to show us how intelligent the liberals are. All you do is claim to know history and the facts. Then please talk about them, it will be much more productive to the conversation, or you can dumb it down to your name trivialities and name calling.
If you get bored read about some history, not something that was lectured to you. This country was built by and alone by individuality and freedom and people right to express it, no matter what another thinks. Stop worrying about everyone else and take care of yourself, and in turn this will be a much better country.
Unfortunately, I doubt you will ever really understand the true beauty of life in know and understanding your own individual being and in turn benfiting society with the fruits you were given.

Hopefully my younger generation can break from the me me me generation and live in the county that was once intended for greatness.
Dave | 7:16 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck speaks to the concerns of real people - taxpayers, rules-keepers, post-racial, normal folks. He is concerned about a President who has seized a crisis to usurp the Constitution, destroy individual freedom and rush us into centralized planning and socialism/fascism.
Maureen | 7:16 a.m. March 30, 2009
Those who call him a nut and a liar have probably never watched his tv show or listened to his radio show. That is a common reaction from someone who has fallen for the mainstream media's distortion and bias. It's also easier to label someone a nut when you are afraid to admit they might be right and are too lazy to think for yourself. Glen Beck loves our country and is not afraid to stand up for our founding truths. He will be called all sorts of names, and soon his family will be attacked because that is what the left does when they are afraid someone is getting through to the American people. They will lie and distort to further their agenda and have no conscience when it comes to smearing people who don't have their beliefs. Yet, they call themselves tolerant! I know many, many more conservatives that are much more tolerant of other people's beliefs.
liberty | 7:16 a.m. March 30, 2009
If you think Glenn Beck is extreme, what do you think of the founding fathers?...hmmm, I guess you would call them extreme as well. He just points out the attack on personal liberty by an ever increasing government. It is exactly what the origional framers of our constitution tried to protect us from.
CSM | 7:17 a.m. March 30, 2009
In the face of the Creepy, Messianic Cult of Personality surrounding the Hopey-Changey O'Bumbler administration, and complete collapse of objective journalism in the main stream media, Beck serves as a rallying point for non-Kool-Aid drinkers.

If you really believe that creating more federal debt in 70 odd days in office than every President before him back to our founding (including Bush, Clinton, Reagan, and FDR) is a good plan, you wont like Beck--in fact, you wont like the consequences of what O'Blah-blah is going to do, but you are too economically ignorant to recognize our mutual peril.

To paraphrase Churchill, the glaring truth of Socialism is that it equally shares the MISERY. >

How's that "hope" work'n out for you? Got any change left?
GOBECK | 7:17 a.m. March 30, 2009
I like Mr. Beck, I like Neal Boortz, I really like Michael Savage... These men (and a few others) have much in common. They are not afraid to speak the TRUTH. Only people who hate the truth talk out against those who proclaim the truth. They are deceived by their own lies. They are believers of lies! Pay them no mind. Beck and others are merely echoing what all of us who live lives of principle, character and honor already know.

Let he who hath ears to hear, hear!
Ted Strout | 7:17 a.m. March 30, 2009
ExMoDon...tell us one or two of Beck's lies.
gregb | 7:17 a.m. March 30, 2009
to Anonymous- You don't have to wait for the train to crash to know there will be damage. If you don't understand the ramifications of the current Obama efforts, you are totally in the dark.
Amanda | 7:17 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck is just about common sense and morals and that just seems to really piss off the liberals. He's actually just trying to get everyone to wake up.
thebeejm | 7:17 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck is right on. The moochers, parasites, and slackers love the new socialist/Marxist regime. The rest of us know better. Keep up the good work, Glenn. The 9/12 Project and the tea parties coverage is great. Keep it front and center so we can take our country back. We don't need the big brother in washington, DC.
Lawlak | 7:17 a.m. March 30, 2009
ExMoDo, man you are so bright. How long did it take you to come up with your brilliant statement? Do you not have the ability to debate issues or do you prefer 6th grade style attacks on the man? I don't like what Obama's is doing but I will attack his idea's not him as a man because he is my president.

And Zulu, how do you know that millions of Americans are "equally uninformed"? Is that because they have a different view than you? I don't know what the guy next door is thinking let alone what the millions of Beck's fans are thinking. But I guess that you do know most of everything about, economy, history, government and science. I bet you are the smartest person in Utah.

Same old liberal side step, attack the man because you can not win when talking about issues.
jim filyaw | 7:17 a.m. March 30, 2009
"I say on the air all time, 'If you take what I say as gospel, you're an idiot.' "

if you take anything he says as informed or the truth, you're a bigger idiot.
Madash | 7:17 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck is very, very funny -- a political "cartoonist" with words, skits, and acts -- perhaps not as polished as Limbaugh, but being rough is part of his schtick. Genuine, warm, and always smiling, he is infinitely more entertaining than the sarcastic, predictably doctrinaire Olbermann, or the damply earnest Maddow who looks like a refuge from the afternoon's SEIU rally, chanting "Workers Unite!!!" Beck is a valuable voice of dissent, in an era where dissent is the highest form of patriotism.
The One | 7:17 a.m. March 30, 2009
Well..Zulu, I believe it is you who is uninformed. There has been zero evidence that what Obama is doing will work. It didn't work during the depression, it proglonged it, and hasn't worked since.
hereistand | 7:18 a.m. March 30, 2009
Freedom loving sees it correctly.... and I wonder if "Zulu" has read the Constitution lately. We know that our elected "Representatives" admit to not reading the "stimulus bill" prior to voting on it. Haven't we all been warned to "sleep on it" before signing a contract? For all the rush, the bill which HAD to be voted on on Friday was not even signed by the President until Tuesday. My biggest complaint is the lack of Constitutional basis for some of the knee-jerk bills presented in the past couple of months... and apparent koolaid drinkers like zulu who appear to be "uninformed ahout economy, history, government, science" ... and the Constitution.
rsp | 7:18 a.m. March 30, 2009
I can't believe the DN put this on the front page. Usually they reserve that space to lament the number of uninsured or the poor, pitiful gays who can't get married.
@zulu: funny that you're crowd preached to us for 8 years about runaway spending aren't complaining that Obama is going to push the national debt to such a high level that we'll be paying more in interest to service that debt than Bush's entire budget.
The Real Glenn Beck | 7:18 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck is a treasonous shill who has raised the call for violent revolution. He is a yellow dog that will get what's his.
Rosie | 7:18 a.m. March 30, 2009
Go Glenn Go!
Richmond | 7:18 a.m. March 30, 2009
For the most part, he's spot on! Those who do not remember history are condemed to repeat it. Socialism (and that's what we're engaging in) has been an utter failure everywhere it has been enacted. A return to real free market capitalism is the only solution that will work. The Dems & Reps are two retail outlets of the same wholesale establishment!
Ryno | 7:18 a.m. March 30, 2009
Conservatives were alienated by the Republican Party beginning around 1998, and they've demonstrated their disgust by either voting Democrat or simply not voting in the years that have followed. There are very few remaining in the party today. McCain was a worthless nominee who had no business running for president, and he's never been supported by the real conservatives in this country (see CPAC straw polls). Anyone who associates the Bush years with conservative ideologies are sadly ignorant of the real definition of conservative (see Ron Paul). It's sad to see how intellectually dishonest the current political debate has become. This country has been duped into associating conservatism with a Republican party having long ago abandoned conservative ideologies. Bush played his part brilliantly in propagating this lie.
Greg Brumley | 7:18 a.m. March 30, 2009
A nut and a liar....what specifically? ....or do you just sling names and accusations at those you don't like as the left so often does.
Eric | 7:18 a.m. March 30, 2009
It takes a conservative to accept and support a television host who cries on cue while on-air. Sad, pathetic, embarrassing... neither of those three adjectives even begins to describe it.
Concerned Citizen | 7:18 a.m. March 30, 2009
Unfortunately, he is well informed. His description of our financial collapse is the most accurate description yet. You can't replace infomred reason with blind hope. You can keep trying, but it will lead to failure.

This country was founded upon reason and a deep understanding of human nature. It was a brilliant miracle. Our decline began when we became too embarrassed to defend our founding principles.

Beck is not the problem. Our collective ignorance, and intellectual laziness are the problem. Tragic.
Jeff in Sherwood | 7:18 a.m. March 30, 2009
What you say about someone else reflects more on you than it does them. Having listened to Glenn since he was a local in Tampa, FL... He had this story... When you first listen to him, you hate him... Then after 5 weeks, it turns into a white-hot hate... Then, you start thinking, "Hey, this guy makes sense..." My story exactly... I got a an XM radio just to listen to him. He irritates me, helps me laugh, but does one thing... Makes me think. Thank you Glenn.
Luthien | 7:19 a.m. March 30, 2009
The uninformed are the ones who have not read the Consititution and realize the attacks on it. This government is far reaching and whether a Dem or Rep is in office the reach is the same.

I'll take my money, my guns, and my FREEDOM, you can keep the change!!! I will take the Constitution over any promised change.
Kathy | 7:19 a.m. March 30, 2009
We have DISCOVERED Glenn Beck. He's funny, refreshing (I get tired of the same old Hannity)and he speaks the truth. We are so tired of the same old BS politicians!!
donzey | 7:19 a.m. March 30, 2009
note to zulu--what does that have to do with Utah? Have you sat through a week of his shows and listened to all the factual and documented points--not the liberal lies and misconceptions? Stop drinking the Kool aid and get the facts.

Glenn Beck is saying what we are all thinking. My freedoms are slowly being taken away by a puppet president for liberal socialists. I am sick of paying for others and spreading my "wealth" around. By the way, my wealth is being a teacher, not a AIG executive.
Judy | 7:19 a.m. March 30, 2009
We are so grateful for Glen Beck. One of the few who makes sense as we travel toward socialism and the evil agenda of the fake president Obama.
Honeysweet15452 | 7:19 a.m. March 30, 2009
America's new hero! God bless Glenn Beck!
True Freedom | 7:19 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Becks show is un-American.

Beck creates propaganda which has traditionally been considered dangerous, especially since the Nazis used it so successfully.

The Merriam-Webster dictionary definition of propaganda is the spreading of ideas, information, or rumor for the purpose of helping or injuring an institution, a cause, or a person & ideas, facts, or allegations spread deliberately to further one's cause or to damage an opposing cause ; also : a public action having such an effect.

This definition describes his shows completely.
912project | 7:19 a.m. March 30, 2009
I love Glenn Beck, I am listening to him right now read this article on his radio show. I watch his show all the time too...from my bunker 30 feet underground.
Smokeraven | 7:19 a.m. March 30, 2009
You go Glenn!! I watched him occasionally on HNN and couldn't believe CNN would let the guy on the air. I don't know about his entertainment factor but every item he referenced checked out. I can't say that for many other talking heads. I love seeing the attacks on here and elsewhere. The one way to know just how close to the mark you are is by hearing how loud the opposition screams. They attack his credibility without proof, they sling lies and deceit without substance, and best of all they NEVER discuss the issues or ideas presented. Keep up the good work Glenn!
Anonymous | 7:19 a.m. March 30, 2009
so Beck is a liar? Please explain.
Anonymous | 7:19 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn is the voice of those who believe that We The People are increasingly working for the government instead of the government working for We The People; there has been a frightening shift in recent decades. Those who enjoy Glenn Beck are independent, freedom-loving Americans, not the sadsack losers who expect an incompetent, corrupt, bloated, immoral government to take care of them. Go Glenn, go!
Lowell | 7:19 a.m. March 30, 2009
This guy knows exactly what is going on. He's spot-on with historical context and insightful analysis of what's coming.

@Anonymous: The unbridled ride of this administration over our rights and the selling off of our country through the creation of more debt than all presidents before him combined is already more than enough to judge where we'll be shoved for at least the next two years. Slowing the destruction in order to minimize it is all we can hope to do for now.
LivSafe | 7:19 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck is merely saying what many of us wish that we could were it not for PC.
