zulu, get out of your tree, stop eating bark, and try actually watching the show. Beck does nothing but deeply investigate topics before airing. And if he's still not satisfied, he brings on experts to discuss. The slant is completely conservative, but he advertises himself that way. Unfortunately, your brothers on MSNBC can't say the same thing. Nice try.
Theosebes Goodfellow | 7:07 a.m. March 30, 2009
To Anonymous: How much worse? $787bn worse. And Congress signed it without reading it.
To ExMoDon: What kind of nut, Chocolate covered? What did he lie about?
To Zulu: Again, the same as ExMoDon. Please explain how he's "misinformed". Drive-by sniping has become the sport of the day.
If you don't care for Beck's show or his particular brand of theatrics, fine. To many it doesn't detract from his rather popular perspective. But I would suggest you at least watch it before you trash it.
Many in this country are rightfully concerned that the current administration, along with its supporters in Congress are trampling the Constitution in the pursuit of a socialist-fascist agenda.
The budget in our homes is the same as that of our nation. If you did with your finances what the President and Congress are doing with the country's, you'd go to jail.
You cannot "spend" your way back to prosperity. You cannot tax your way to higher productivity. As the great Ann Landers oft said, "Wake up and smell the coffee".
Chris | 7:07 a.m. March 30, 2009
Actually Beck is very informed, for those of you who think he's off the mark...might I suggest you go back to school and learn about history instead of blindly taking the word of whom ever your idle for the week is.

Get a grip America, all you have to do is pay attention to the HR's going through the government these days to see this administration is going to take more away from us than any other administration.

Be glad the Beck's are out there otherwise the whole nation would become "coolaid" drinkers. Less Government, more private industry.....we're in for a very rough four years. If we don't stop it now, will we ever get America back???

Beck refuses to drink the Obama Kool-Aid.

The crazy CRACKHEAD (read his book) in the white house is going to ruin this nation. Thank God for Beck.... Wake up people. March on DC.... Let the Pelosi's and Reid's know we are mad as hell....

Exmodon says "Glenn Beck is a nut and a liar." I would like to have a concrete examples of this." I believe that Exmodon is the nut and liar.
Xnavnuc | 7:08 a.m. March 30, 2009
I have listened to Glenn for years and, although somewhat tedious at times, he speaks from his HEART. More recently he speaks from skilled research available to him AND his heart. He is NEEDED!
Richp017 | 7:08 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn is "right" on the money with his and MOST intelligent people's views. As for Zulu saying his audience is UNINFORMED,well most WELL INFORMED Liberals didn't even know the Democrats were in control of Congress the last election. The only thing harder than finding a needle in a haystack is finding a Liberal with a brain. Glenn's followers are adults who can take care of themselves. Unlike the Liberals in this country who need the NANNY Government to take care of them. WAH, WAH, WAH, the call to arms by LIBERALS. YOU GO GLENN.
Dale | 7:08 a.m. March 30, 2009
This guy is great. The truth hurts. The entire group in power is just after control. This will end soon anyway under the weight of so many errors of thought.
The system needs to defrag. The left can only live off of the workers.
ross64 | 7:08 a.m. March 30, 2009
mr zulu, what an absurd statement. It is clear from your comment who is uniformed.
PA1 | 7:08 a.m. March 30, 2009
You are by no means alone Glenn and we will resist UN big Brother Global Socialism Communitarism Stateism till our and our childrens and their children childrens childrens childrens last Breath.
Enough already! | 7:09 a.m. March 30, 2009
re: Zulu - "...economy, history, government, science and more preaching to an audience who is equally uninformed." You must be speaking about the Obama administration! Be very careful what you wish for.
Jim Lamb | 7:09 a.m. March 30, 2009
The reason Glenn Beck has great ratings is that what he says resonates with millions of frustrated Americans. Washington, D.C., is a magnet for money, power and self-congratulating politicians. Somebody in the hinterlands has to stir things up and rattle the cages of these pols, so they don't delude themselves into thinking that they and their money-spreading lobbyist friends are the only ones that matter. If our elected officials don't get the message, they should be fired. Go Glenn. Make all the noise you can to get their attention. Help make Fox even more successful, so the D.C. crowd will think twice before they wreck the country. But remember: These people hate success, particularly when it does not fit within their world view. They'll try and ruin you, but don't give up. Never give up. Never . . .
gregb | 7:09 a.m. March 30, 2009
His popularity goes way beyond Utah. If the truth hurts, don't listen to him.
circle8 | 7:09 a.m. March 30, 2009
I will take Glenn, Sean or many others before I would trust that Chicago Pimp with my life. He, the pimp, will ruin this country.
Carrie Bettkes | 7:09 a.m. March 30, 2009
He is the voice of America! His commentary comes from his heart. He tells the truth. Go Glenn Beck!
RationalNotRhetoric | 7:09 a.m. March 30, 2009
Wow, never would have guessed that raving lunatic that as he says "Rodeo clowns" for millions of dollars a year is a Mormon!

He seems way too over the top to be a Mormon!! But I guess anything for the almighty dollar!!

Join a Tax Day Tea Party on April 15th, and we will show the Socialists what a disaffected cultural sensibility can do.
nygop | 7:10 a.m. March 30, 2009
We need 1000s of Glen Becks across the US

MAKE SURE YOU ATTEND YOUR LOCAL TEA PARTY ON APRIL 15.
Phil | 7:10 a.m. March 30, 2009
A nut, perhaps, but not a liar. The reason he's so popular is because he speaks from his heart, he speaks the truth and he is more in touch with mainstream America than any of his peers. You certainly can't say that about Rachael Maddow or Keith Olberman.
Cricket | 7:10 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck is what every American USED to be. Patriotic, devoted to God, family and country. Strong, independent and passionate, he believes every American should be responsible for himself. Glenn Beck still believes in the American Dream of small government that answers to the people, rather than people who act at the behest of the government. THEY work for US, not the other way around. To have government consuming amounts approaching 50% of our GDP in the next few years is unbelievably wrong. The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money. Read Atlas Shrugged. Written over 50 years ago, it could be today's newspaper. It's time to stop the out of control growth of government, and Glenn Beck is leading that charge. We need more like him!
DixonG2001 | 7:10 a.m. March 30, 2009
To ExMoDon, Why is it the lefts best arguments are to call names or demean in some manner.
tom | 7:10 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck speaks for America.
James in St George | 7:10 a.m. March 30, 2009
So inform us great ZULU. Please forgive my uninformed Utahn ways. Tell me how Mr. Beck is wrong so that I might repent and be as enlightened as you.
Krystal | 7:11 a.m. March 30, 2009
I have been watching Beck for years - first on HNN - and he was the first to alert the public back in 2007 of the impending financial crisis - yet he was laughed at by the leftists at CNN. Beck was right. He also kept warning about our southern border, which now has become a nightmare cause our gov't won't protect our borders yet seeks to send our young overseas to protect foreign borders. I hear more on Fox News and on Drudge then I ever get from the gov't news (MSN) - why is that?
Anonymous | 7:11 a.m. March 30, 2009
Anonymous Either your foreign to the English language, (based on your spelling and grammatical errors), or your education is showing through your post. Granted, the Bush era was wrong, but so is the direction Obama is taking this country. I am not a person that complains after the fact, people like Glen Beck proactively point out the issues that need to be addressed. Its easy to complain about something after the fact and react... What would you prefer?
Diane | 7:11 a.m. March 30, 2009
I think that Glenn is terrific at what he does and who he is. Thank God for Glenn, a voice in the wilderness that compels Americans to wake-up and do something to save our freedom from tyranny.
EC | 7:11 a.m. March 30, 2009
Zulu wrote "someone who is uninformed ahout economy, history, government, science and more preaching to an audience who is equally uninformed". This could so easily be said of Obama and his fans...
An odd man | 7:11 a.m. March 30, 2009
The one time I turned on his show he was bawling into the camera, bearing some demented kind of testimony. Shameful.

And Omar, which God, exactly, is Beck doing the work of? And how can you be so sure? I must have missed the memo stating that God writes campaign contribution checks to the GOP.
LDSlover | 7:12 a.m. March 30, 2009
Beck is over the top, kinda running a step a head of those he talks with and at times the tears roll right back up his face.

That said, he has hit the key button (we elected a person without a clue) and he will ride it right into a pile of money. As for the MadLow woman, tried to watch her once but with that mouth that is so crooked and those convoluted ideas she didn't work well for me. Her numbers put her in the vast MSNBC dumper.
Maurice | 7:12 a.m. March 30, 2009
I have not watched his TV show but I have listened to his radio show for years. He may be a nut but he is a very genuine nut. He is passionate about his beliefs. Sometimes he is way too negative for me and I change the station.
future shock | 7:12 a.m. March 30, 2009
What has Glen Beck lied about?
Dustoff | 7:12 a.m. March 30, 2009
(zulu)
It appers that many in Government as also quite uninformed too. Like say paying taxes!
Adding bills so AIG get's a bonus, then complaining about it. Turn these AIG people into monsters, when they had nothing to do with the bill (Dodd & White house)

So let me ask you. Who is more uninformed? Government or a talk show host.
Granny in CO | 7:12 a.m. March 30, 2009
ExMoDon
You should recognize a liar.
I will not take away your guns. (just your ammo?)
I will go line by line in the budget to eliminate pork. (But not yet. Got to pay off my supporters.)
We're for the little guy. (But we won't eliminate the AMT, ever especially when we create inflation and put everyone in that category).
We're for the little guy. (Card check will only intimidate those who don't vote for a union. See Indiana fiasco)
And the beat goes on, and on, and on.
Bill | 7:13 a.m. March 30, 2009
He speaks for me, I am tired of paying for other people. I am self employed, I pay double social security & medicare 15.3%, 28% federal tax, 6% state tax, about $2,300 property tax. Do the math, that is over 50% and is total b/s.
I am paying to educate other peoples kids, I am paying for illegal work centers that compete for the same construction jobs I do but don't have to pay fed or state tax. I am paying for the Woodstock museum in some other state. Lastly I am paying for S.S. that will bankrupt of make me work to 100 to get the benifits.
Obamanation | 7:13 a.m. March 30, 2009
Obama is a fraud, propped up by a liberal media that dare not speak a critical word. We need Glen Beck to filter out the lies this corrupt administration tells. Obama lies ...our economy DIES.
Nature Girl | 7:13 a.m. March 30, 2009
I am a conservative and those who denigrate it should take a look at what liberalism has wrought. Can you say "sexting" anyone?
Isn't it obvious there needs to be a backlash on the depravity of culture that passes for tolerance?

Terrifying | 7:13 a.m. March 30, 2009
Popularity of shows like this demonstrate that Americans can fall for extremism as easily as people in the Middle East. Oh, what sheep we have become, to fall for the lies of big business, dehumanizing conservatism, and blind zealotry that preaches hate.
Anonymous | 7:13 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck speaks to people who are anything but uninformed. Typical liberal condescension here, the assumption being that anyone who dares disagree with Obama's extreme position on the role of federal government must be a uneducated hillbilly redneck. That's the only possible explanation, right? Disregard the studies that show the typical conservative talk-radio radio listener is more educated than say, the typical Jay Leno fan. You lefties enjoy your time in the sun. Meanwhile, the real patriots in this country will be taking our country back soon.
shirl | 7:13 a.m. March 30, 2009
If you compare Glen Beck to Al Franken, Joe Biden or Charles Rangel he looks wonderful! The Democrats do not want to hear the truth they are so happy with the messiah.
KansasPatriot | 7:13 a.m. March 30, 2009
I became an "activist" the day Rick Santelli gave his rant on MSNBC. Glenn Beck only reflects what I feel about the direction our country is heading toward. Socialism. I have felt that way for the last four years of the Bush Administration so it isn't just Obama.
However, this Administration have taken my fears to a new level. Virtually everything they are doing leads us closer to the a more intrusive, abusive Government.
Beck speaks what we are feeling out here in flyover county and we are MAD AS HELL.
Look at Big O's headline this morning. Obama "forces" GM's CEO to resign. Are you scared yet?
wilted lily | 7:13 a.m. March 30, 2009
Glenn Beck is an American hero at a time when we need one the most. It is very cathartic to watch his show because he says what needs to be said. It's one of the only places in the MSM where this is being done--talking truth to power. God bless Glenn Beck! We love you, man!
Brian | 7:13 a.m. March 30, 2009
Listen to his radio show, great stuff. Even if you disagree with him, he's entertaining and respectful of other viewpoints, if you respect his. If not...well, watch out.
Anonymous | 7:14 a.m. March 30, 2009
Naive critics is what you appear to be with the comments again Beck. He speaks to people as he is one of us who has overcome hardships, struggles (alcholism), children (several, one special needs. That, plus the fact they believe what he says.
Patriot | 7:14 a.m. March 30, 2009
To the above who tend to bash mister Beck. Maybe you should watch the show before you criticize it. He is a "REAL" person, and not some ivory tower sitter that lives off of hypocrisy.

Mister Beck is truly the voice of many of us Americans who love our country and are not of the blame America first crowd such as this administration of clowns!
Marl4570 | 7:14 a.m. March 30, 2009
Oh of course he is a nut and liar..Lord knows that all those idiots who voted for the "ONE" couldn't have been wrong right Exmodon.
Dennis | 7:14 a.m. March 30, 2009
I love Glenn Beck, he speaks for all of us Tax Payers, join us in your town for the Tax Day Tea Parties (I am in Kansas City at Liberty Memorial), God Bless. Dennis
Joseph W. Raines | 7:14 a.m. March 30, 2009
Shinning a light on efforts to destroy the America of the past sure brings howls of anger from those that want to destroy our way of life.
Xnavnuc | 7:14 a.m. March 30, 2009
Oh by the way... I am NOT a Morman! Having said that I will also state that I have NEVER met a Morman whom I thought was wrong-headed and foolishly reactive. From what I know I would rather have a Morman as a leader than any other Christian faith. I guess hardship has a lot to do with that.
Glenn | 7:14 a.m. March 30, 2009
Look at the Obama worshipping crowd? Who in the world would be dumb enough to put a scumbag lawyer in the White House?

There is no difference between a lawyer and a carnival worker hustling people, promising big payback if they blow a few bucks.

IDIOT AMERICANS!
