I don't understand how things are somuch worse than Bush era. I thought Bush would lead the world into World War 3. Obama on the other hand is just bigining his work as President. How could we critisize a president without giving a time to see an out come.

You mean to tell us, some Americans think Obama will ruin our country? Not the ones getting "free" money! They love him! You go Glenn, you are doing God's work!

Who are the disaffected Americans? TAXPAYERS and freedom loving Americans who can govern themselves just fine without an overreaching, overintrusive, punitive and abusive "big brother" running our lives, confiscating our property and rights!

His popularity in Utah speaks for itself. A sad state of affairs indeed. In a nutshell...someone who is uninformed ahout economy, history, government, science and more preaching to an audience who is equally uninformed.

"Conservatives" are just the louder of the 2. I would say I lean to the left, but am definitely not a democrat. The country is run by corporations, not by the people, and the sooner you right wing looneys realize that, the sooner we can fix the problem. The democrats are not your enemy, politicians are. I understand it hurts to come out of the bubble, but it was your party (with a lot of help from the democrats) that ran our country in to the ground. When Beck says he is a rodeo clown, he is stating the absolute truth.

He is popular all over the country as evidenced by,as the the article points out, his very high TV ratings, not just Utah. Maybe there are more so called "uniformed" people than you think. Or maybe they are more "informed" than you think! If you don't like Beck, don't listen to him! There is a magic button on your remote, use it and stay uninformed. But for a growing number of informed Americans, we have just about had enough government abuses of power!

Beck is a Clown and only a clown.
Putting on his "wa wa face for his sad performance as a Republican Puppet.
His pretense of a latter day saint is wanting!
Ranting and raviing because he and his puppets cannot have their 700 Billion dollars to buy more war machines for a defunct war. His "Idol" Bush is fallen and a disgrace to true Latter day saints who aspire Peace. Neo Conservatives will always have enough of the Taxpayers money to play their three ring circus. Let the clown perform!

I am so weary of the kind of overeaching, carping nonsense that loudmouths like Beck and Limbaugh (and Olbermann) represent! Although I will stand firmly for free speech, I would LOVE to hear more intelligent, tempered, and moderated (as opposed to hysterical) discussion of the issues. I am interested in hearing ideas of how to fix the country's problems instead of all the ridiculous name-calling. I didn't like it in the Bush presidency, and I don't like it in the present administration. One day Obama is a "socialist", the next day he is a "fascist", he's "too left", he uses a teleprompter....and on and on. The level of national conversation has sunk so low, and we as Americans are not only capable of better, but we also need much better ! I am sure Beck is a nice guy, but I just cannot stomach this kind of reckless commentary anymore.

Glenn Beck is an embarrassment to the Church and to himself. His populist drivel is a cash grab, which only FOX would air. He was too sleazy for CNN. He's in the same category as Rush and O'Reilly: big mouth, loud format, cut-off any one who disagrees, and sell it to the sad, lonely people who need someone to blame for their sad, lonely lives. Anyone who follows this prophet (profit?) into the wilderness deserves to be scammed!

Talk is evidently NOT cheap - it pays very well, especially when it is so mis-guided and inane.

3 of the first 5 bloggers here are actually defending Obama and dissing Beck. This is what is wrong now in America. In his first few months, Obama and his liberal left have destroyed the very fabric of the American ideal. As Americans, we should demand resignations from anyone who has supported these crazy left-wing attacks on our Constitution.

Beck speaks as with the heart of a patriotic American who wants his country back. Obama speaks as a tyrannist who wants to "spread the wealth" and insert government into our daily lives.

Who would you rather listen to?

This country is still conservative in the majority. We need a true conservative to rise up and lead this country back to prosperity.

Leadership | 5:12 a.m. March 30, 2009
What america lacks is leadership. We are a nation of disenfrachiised americans with no direction and every culture wanting recognition as an independent nation of nationalities. Every culture, even the illegal foreign nationals, are seeking to be recognized as individual nationalities instead of uniting as a nation of americans. A nation of many tounges does not stay united very long and history has proven this out and it puts america on a path of self destruction. Obama and his gang of nationalities are doing nothing to unite america as a nation with goals, ideals or plans for the future. Government cannot fix the economy no matter how much it spends or gifts is bestows, only the people and well paying jobs can restore any economic stability. Securing jobs for americans should be government priority, not protecting and handing out money to illegal ailens and their families. The working american is our recovery and all foreigners should be expelled with prejudice so america can recover.

But in your eyes, it's OK because Obama is doing it, right?Simple math is the judge of Obama. You want us to "wait and see an out come"?Wait for what? Are you that dim witted to understand what these people are doing? You are so fixated on the past and what Bush did that you are blind to our future. When it comes to spending tax payers money,Obama is worse that any past president. That is a fact.

Glen Beck is a decent honorable man. He has principles, and speaks what he really believes rather than saying what is polically expedient. He loves Amreica and is no nut case. The real nut cases are those who despise America and want to turn us into a socialist state. It's a sad state of affairs when a govenment steals from one class only to give to another. Many fortunate enough to have more thn somone else give to charities, now the current adminsitration want to stifle charitable contributions through taxation, so it can create a class dependent on government hand outs. High taxation punishes acheivers. I don't know about you, but I've never received a paycheck from a poor man. Exess taxation, exhorbidant spending, and an intrusive government was the seedbed of our economic straits. Negative actions produce negative consequences. "We reep what we sow." Glenn calls it like he sees it. Many of you have never consistently listened to the man are regurgitating the left's mantra.

Who's uninformed? | 5:48 a.m. March 30, 2009
Hey Zulu, if you would actually watch Glen's show (which I doubt you have), you see that you are wrong. Glen is highly informed and has excellent and intelligent guests every day. Just because he does not simply repeat the left-wing ideology of the biased-mainstream media, you say he is uninformed. Liberalism is not equivalent to intelligence. The fact that anyone can say Beck is uninformed about history, etc., just shows that either (1) you have not watched his show much at all, or (2) you are willfully dishonest. He has extremely informed guests on a regular basis. I dare you to actually watch his show for at least a week---taking note of the guests---and then you will find you are wrong.

Of whom do you speak Obama or Beck?

Both are popular, make sense to many and have a wide following.

Personally I'd much rather listen to and watch Beck!

The left will begin to attack Beck in earnest as he connects with more patriotic Americans who love their country and believe in the constitution.
