Donations met for U. band

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the idea of corporations and citizens raising money to reward a group of young people the chance of a lifetime to play at a historic inauguration.
Quit raining on their parade.
Thank you to the family of Ken and Sally Burbidge for donating matching funds for scholarships, instruments, and uniforms!
A heartfelt THANK YOU to each and every individual who donated to the Inaugural Fund for the Utes Marching Band.
A great big THANK YOU also goes to Applebee's, Cold Stone Creamery and USANA for stepping in and making their generous donations as well.
USANA pushed the donations over the top.
The WARMEST THANKS goes to Sherman Smith and his neighbors and friends in Ashburn, VA for taking our sons and daughters into their homes and feeding them. How can we even come close to thanking these people for their heartwarming and loving generosity?
They deserve a "Parental Medal of Honor" for going above and beyond the call of duty!!!
I sleep easier tonight knowing my son is in the care of such wonderful people.
EVERY supporter out there should know that you made a big difference in these young people's lives and gave them something they will remember and cherish forever.
You are all wonderful, no matter how big or small your contribution, whether money or service.
A Grateful Band Dad
