What was scary is that he was my teacher. and and i am glad that he is not coming back to teaching in the 7th and 8th grade! and right now there is a new teacher and every one is still talking about him and most likely will for a long time.

i had this as my teacher last year everybody knew he was a perv and everybody told the princaple what a perv he was so it is the officals fault that he was a teacher in the first place!!!!!!

assumptions | 6:22 a.m. Jan. 15, 2009
it's possible he had motives that were not the assumption here... like if he were casing the joint for some sort of criminal robbery. teachers aren't paid that much, after all...

Unreal the reaction, if people are in public, then they are open to be filmed.
If it was of little kids and sexual in nature then...
there is a problem, but filming people on the street is just a genre known as street photography.
Overaction on many peeps.

At least it has finally been confirmed that most of us posters here are indeed in middle school.

To Sociologist.... If you read the article you will see that the man was filming through the blinds and curtains of houses. His subjects were not on the street but were in their homes and, therefore, had a reasonable expectation of privacy. This was not "street photography" but an illegal invasion of privacy.

You cannot convince me that middle school students are actually posting on Deseretnews.com. Get a life

I agree on what happened to this Man. He should Not Be Teaching. I believe in fair hearings and a day in court, also Strong Unions. However he got Caught Red Handed so there is not contest.

The problem with people who do this kind of thing is that their is something lacking in their lives. They are afraid to act on their own so they like to watch.

The down side of this is that they get boulder and boulder and viewing can turn to action and worlds collide.

Perhaps he wanted to get caught, knows that he needs help but was scared to ask. Many of these people are more scared then scary.

It seems like in these days of Internet and Real Time Goggle that this up close and personal stuff would not be the way to go. Ten again maybe not.

Thats scares me like no other! I had him for my workshop teacher for most of the first of the school semester! EW!
Shelby | 9:25 a.m. Jan. 17, 2009
wow he was my favorite teacher when i went to school there......i never would've suspected anything like this
Kaylee | 12:38 p.m. Jan. 19, 2009
Shelby, I know him personally, and I know all that is going on. People make mistakes and he is working on fixing this big mistake. He is still a good man!
I agree what he did was very wrong, but I hope you don't change your opinion of him being your favorite teacher, even though he isn't a teacher anymore.

Love you Matt, and I pray for you always!
