shameless + happy | 2:26 p.m. Jan. 14, 2009
Blago is totally shameless. No conscious. Chicago politics at its worst... or maybe just Chicago politics business as usual. No doubt Obama is full of shameless past politics seeing that he too graduated from the same criminal system but hey... Obama is the great Messiah and is untouchable. Any one else SICK of hearing about all the Hollywood flakes that will be attending the grand inauguration next week? I mean WHO CARES?????? Never will there be so many idiots gathered in one place ... all of them trying to out show the rest. How nauseating!!

Gov. Blago quoting Old honest Abe Lincoln?

Lincoln accused some of his war cabinet of being willing to steal a hot stove.

If Gov. Blago thought it was worth it he would steal a hot stove.

Presiding over his own impeachment hearing! LOL Well I guess we all know how this will turn out! He will walk away from this unscathed, unaffected and a hero in the eyes of his party!

Enough already | 9:51 p.m. Jan. 14, 2009
The gov usually enters the chambers to the applause of the state senators. No one clapped this year. On the house side his sister-in-law was the only new rep to vote against his impeachment today.
It's lonely at the bottom.
As for the comments above of Never ends...you forgot Valerie Jarrett, Rahm Emanuel, and David Axelrod.
I'm not believing this change. Are you?

I feel sorry for the folks of Illinos as they must be very imbarrassed over all of this negative attention to their State, but corruption in governments of all types is becoming so common it is embarrassing to all of us in America. And it does not exist just in the political arean, but in business, organizations, groups, churches, and nearly everywhere, but we all need to be on the same page on this one and promote honesty and integrity among ourselves, families, friends, neighbors and associates and this type corruption must be stopped as Rod needs to be stopped!
