Bless all of you for working with recovering addicts! The road is hard and many people all affected along the way. God bless!

This is a good story and points out the many challenges addicts face. However, I am greatly discouraged that some providers of services are kicking people out because they relapse (or lapse). It does have to be taken seriously, but other precautions can be taken. Imagine how many more diabetics or people with hypertension would die if the medical community refused services simply because of the manifestations of their disease. The sooner people realize that this is not simply a matter of will power and that it is a disease, the quicker treatment will be more widely available. Right now the Utah State Legislature is talking about cutting the majority of funding to serve these people. It is much cheaper to treat people than to incarcerate them.
