I remember when former coach Urban Meyer made it a special point to recruit in Texas. He got 2. And they were both SIMPLY AWESOME! Over the years of persistant recruiting, setting up pipelines, and even benefitting from the addition of TCU into the conference, we just keep getting better and better. I just hope we haven't started overlooking those stud players in Hawai'i.

We've picked up several very strong recruits from your state (i.e. Eric Weddle), but IN GENERAL, from the unbiased view of THIS Pennsylvanian, your guys will be taking a back-seat to Texas, Florida, and Hawai'i players. Sorry! It's true!

Are you serious?take away all the CALI kids that ever played for Utah and you got " Temple" please!..how many "UNDEFEATED" seasons has Temple's football team had?..do they even have a football team?..Hey here's an idea!..How bout recruiting CALIFORNIA KIDS?...you're lame dude...texas!..please!!

Its not just about where U recruit its about how effective U are.

Like one post said check out the Aggies.

Personally, I could care less where we recruit from as long as we are able to get talent that makes the program better.

Look at the basketball program and talent from Auzzie we were able to find.

Looks like Utah will be the power for years to come in the Mtn.West.They are getting all the right kids not only from Utah but from the surrounding states like California,let the Y take all the over rated kids from TV (Bills)!
