My husband and I were blessed to meet Brother Snarr at the end of his life, while my husband served as his branch president at the Brighton Gardens care center, where Brother Snarr was a resident. We were immediately impressed by his kind and humble demeanor, as well as by his strength of character even as his physical strength was failing. We were also impressed by his obvious great love for his wife and his devotion to his faith.

Unlike so many people who trumpet their importance at the first opportunity, Brother Snarr's many talents and accomplishments only became apparent as we got to know him. He was a rare combination of great accomplishment and great humility, and an example for all who knew him.
