EPA arrives at site of Vernal crude-oil spill

Actually, what caused it was aliens landing a really heavy space ship on the pipeline.

The area of the spill is within the known range of a rare cactus, Sclerocactus wetlandicus Hochstatter. This species of cactus is known only from limited populations in eastern Utah in Duchesne and Uintah counties. It is protected under the Endangered Species Act. The species persists above ground through the winter so a search by a professional botanist should be made to determine if it is present in the area.

I can say it was not recent 3rd party damage. more then that I will not say right now.
