It sure would be nice if he "gets it" soon and figures out some mental focus and a better work ethic.
We are going to need him for next season because either Boozer or Memo is gone. Maybe both--this is why.
It is unfortunate too because they actually complement one another. Memo is tall like a Center but prefers not to post up every play. He prefers to pull his man out to the perimeter which spreads the floor for Booz.
Boozer prefers to operate in the post and enjoys the space to operate that Memos deep shooting provides.
Once I write all that down now I wonder whether either of them can really flourish without what the other offers.
Booz leaves and we have a 7 footer shooting 3's with no post game?
Memo leaves and we have nobody big to pull the opposing Center out for Booz to go in the low post--and we all know how he plays against tall athletic big men a la Lakers series last year.
The Jazz will have to make some tough decision this offseason unless Booz can't opt out because of his surgery issues.
Peace out from the Jazz Oracle!
big fes, don't be discouraged, the kid has got potential, who else can put a body on yao?
big fes, your etiquette and preparation is soft, your game is not, you gotta prepare and work out, as hard as you play on the court.
big fes, good luck to you, hopefully we'll see you in the playoffs, although, i think the jazz could use you now, you're definitely not forgotten.
