his fault. Black Ice can make people crash at any speeds. I think the UHP and Spanish Fork police are
just trying to get money anymore.
Almost all the cops are useless out there anymore.
The driver that caused the accident was at falt.
He was driving his vehicle above a speed that he could control under the circumstances.
It may have been an accident, however it could have been prevented. Writing a ticket is not always about money. It seldom is. We all have responsibilities that we must live with.
Your comment reminds me of all the ridiculous pile-ups we have during winter. I recently watched a video clip of people who were involved in a fog-ice pile-up. Some of the drivers said things like, "I was just driving and SUDDENLY there was a HUGE WALL OF CARS, and I had NOWHERE to go!" Whereas other drivers who were not idiots said, "I was able to stop, but then I was rear-ended by another person." Gee, do you think that if some people could stop, we should not issue citations to the idiots who were trying to drive 70 MPH over ice IN FOG?!? Of course we should.
If the driver of the SUV is found to have been driving recklessly- far too fast for weather and road conditions- throw the book at him for getting this guy killed.
I had slowed down in icy conditions on Bangerter earlier this week, with a highway patrol vehicle up ahead dealing with an accident. An SUV proceeded to fly by me, almost hitting me and the highway patrol vehicle. It these idiots drive recklessly and cause accidents, injuries, or deaths, they need to be held accountable.
Why did you comment on something you know nothing about? This was not Spanish Fork Canyon, it was at the merger of US6 & I15. There is no sharp turn. US 6 is fairly straight as it merges with, and becomes a 3rd lane of the previously 2 lane I-15. I know the parents of both individuals involved and there is no animosity on the one part, and great remorse on the other part. Why make accusations based on second hand information (newspaper) before the officers on the scene make a determination.
Regardless, this is a terrible situation for both families.
My love goes to each and every membe of the christensen family,I love you so much and iam morning with you.
may God bless you as he has blessed with the opportunity to meet with Bryce.
