Leaders of polygamists are arrested in Canada

Let's hope the Canadian Mounties handle this better than the Texas Rangers did. It's a good omen that they have not started with the children. If the men are away the children are safe.

As far as these two men being arrested,, GOOD!!!!
Polygamy is against the law in Canada! Its time this kind of degrading lifestyle be stopped!

Once this case heads to the courts and is found to be in contravention to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms--the same charter that has legalized same sex unions and other forms of cohabitation--will you still be praising the Mounties? Nah. You will be cursing them and accusing them of being conspirators in depriving women and children their equal rights.

Go shake some of that LeBaron dust off and see if you can stop judging the world based upon your cult-reflex driven abuses instead. Not all polygamists went through the hell you did, and unlike you, MOST of them are NORMAL people.

I wonder how many people making the claim that polygamy is evil and unnatural are the same people who did not support Prop 8.

Setting aside marrying under the age and arranged marriages, there is much strong science supporting people having a polygamous nature than a homosexual nature. It's kind of proven unfortunately with all the extra marital affairs happening.

So I hope all those out there who did not support Prop 8, picket for, defend, and stand up for to the rights of the FLDS church and all people in general to be married to more than one husband or one wife.

Polygamy is not that bad if you think about it.

Polygamy is evil, and you polygamist men on this blog need to get a life and stop thinking all women were made just for your purpose to abuse. Your minds are all twisted and warped, and probably beyond repair. You men need serious help! It's disgusting that you think U can use God for your SICK abuse of women...SHAME ON ALL OF YOU! Polygamous men being arrested in Canada has absolutly nothing to do with Barack Obama being sworn in as President of United States nor does it have anything to do with Prop 8.

There are some really silly comments on here some of the time, thank goodness for freedom of speech but at least stay on the subject.

Polygamy right or wrong let the Canadian Courts decide, we need not be so judgemental. I do not support Polygamy but I do support the law of the land regardless of the country.

If the governments allow poloygamy only the religous righteous would actually do it as it is an institution of creating Lots of babies. This would very quickly enlarge the poplulation to be overwhelmingly a God fearing moral and free society. In 4 or 5 generations they could take back thier freedoms and deter the New World Order;)
