The Best Thing to Do | 6:45 a.m. Jan. 7, 2009
I really smiled at this article. It is something that should be read and enjoyed. The fact that the experience is written down somewhere is the best thing to do. President Henry B Eyring has been trying to tell us for years to write down sacred experiences for posterity. When we are given spiritual experiences and don't write them down, they are cast aside and forgotten. We will be given more such experiences if they are recorded even if in your own personal journal! Keep alive those incidents by recording them and keep a record. Duh. Where would we be without all the writings of the early Church? We would have had nothing of the Teachings of the Prophet, Joseph Smith, save someone was obedient to write it all down. Now we have it and can learn, teach and expound from its pages. God bless a scribe, or many scribes! So, please keep these kinds of things alive. Thank you Jerry Johnson for sharing your story.

I prayed. God told me the LDS Church is a cult and a fraud. Should I write that down for my posterity? I think I will.

Note to Anonymous:
Interesting that when you make a comment you are too embarrassed to include your name. It seems to me that you just want to rant and rave. Settle down and pray in earnest, the anger and disillusionment will leave -- if you allow it. Move forward. Use faith and not fear to motivate your actions. It takes time. Be patience. We will welcome you back when you are ready. Take care.
