Not only should the offices of elected officials so should they apply to those in appointed positions where the majority of corruption exists in government spending. Any contracted services and companies should also disclose to the public what and where tax dollars are spent. You can't open the doors to offices and not leave the doors shut where the money is spent and who is buying votes from elected officials.
