We lost a truly great man. An example to young and old on how much one can really give to making individuals and communities better. I felt his love for the depressed, hopeless, alienated, distraught, and forgotten. He always had a kind word for everyone and preferred to speak them in private. His acts of kindness were often anonymous and always sincere. He was a community leader by example, not by choice. He gave because he cared. He cared because he understood. He understood because he tried. He tried because he loved his neighbor like unto himself. He loved his neighbor because he loved his god.

What happened to Butch Haught who worked with Dennis for 24 years. He was let go from the carpet company after helping Dennis build that company. Butch Haught's wife was diagnosed with cancer which was the same week that he was dismissed.

Hopefully Dennis's family will reach out to Butch's family. This good work in memory and in the name of Dennis Barney.

My prayers for Dennis's family.

Dear Anonymous. Please contact Mr.Haught himself. He'd probably give you the real details of the story. Not as ugly as you'd stated. He loved and supported the Haught family for many years. Ask around, you'll get the true story along with many others. Nice to focus however on such negative.
