Glen Snarr was a giant in the print business. He had a great sense of fairness. I am a retired politician and politicians tend to be very critical of the press that reports us. I can say Glen was always fair to me and to the others that worked with him.

I had the honor of knowing and working with Glen for over 30 years. I was an advertising client with U. S.Steel's Chemical Division and David W. Evans was our highly-esteemed ad agency. Glen was a man of great integrity -- a true gentleman! He will be sorely missed by all of us who admired his work and his talent. Glen Snarr's life is to be celebrated by everyone who knew him and held him in the highest regard.

It was my privilege to have known and worked closely with Glen Snarr for more than 30 years. I admired Glen's business acumen and considered him as one of my best friends. As the top person in the David W. Evans Advertising Agency, Glen personally handled the U.S.Steel Chemical Division account, where I served as advertising manager. We met regularly and often traveled throughout the western states and also to Washington, D.C. Glen's modesty and good humor disguised the fact that he was truly a giant in the professional communications field. He will be remembered not only as a hard worker but as a fine human being and a great friend.

Glen hired me in 1967 to be the controller of David W.Evans, Inc. We worked together as team for over 30 years to build one of the largest and most respected ad agencies in the West. When he retired, I replaced him as CEO of the agency. He had a significant influence on my life and was a great ad man, a business and community leader and a true mentor. He was loved by his employees and clients and will be missed.
