Mark, my best to you and your family. You certainly have had your challenges this past year but as always have remained positive and upbeat. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We hope that 2009 will another successful year for the Shurtleff's.

Very Glad to hear the good news on the leg, but... I can say this now that you are generally out of the woods. I can see you with a patch over one eye and a wooden peg leg, being that you are a Navy man anyway. Cn you imagine the fear that the pligs would have when Mark walked in with his peg leg and eye patch yelling "avast ye scuvy naves, Avast!"

Not only is he not able to do his job effectively given all the downtime, he has cost the state's self insurance program a bundle in medical bills. I wish I could find out how much. And, why was he re-elected knowing he can't fulfill his duties.
