They will pass a bill that will allow themselves to go build your charter schools for you at a nice profit for them!

The most expensive charter school in the entire state runs 40% of what is paid for one high school. That is American Leadership Academy, which serves 1,300 kids.
Admitted some of the legislators that were involved in this were pretty mean about how they did things. Even so, you fail to address the whole issue. The issue is not the profit. The issue is the conflict of interest. Very legitimate.
The angle you have taken is just not accurate. Charter schools are far cheaper to build than traditional. And in both cases, the contractors make profits.
Let's be clear about this.
