I was really glad to see Sloan call a time out and get Krover out of the game. As soon as Sloan got the specialist with no apparent specialty out of the game and got his top scorer and leader in steals back in the game it turned around quickly.

Absolutely love the kid from Akron. I would take him over Greg Oden any day.

I was a little confused as to who took over Fess's body and strung 16 highly productive minutes together.

CJ like most guys that played tonight played really well.

Larry got his money's worth out of CJ and Brewer tonight. I hope they can keep it up.

Has anyone seen Kryl Krover?

Euro value dropping | 1:09 a.m. Dec. 27, 2008
I was really enthused about Ak's defense tonight but then I realized that the only "star" that A.K. can shut down is another Europeon. They just don't make tough players on the other side of the pond.
Just ask Memo

Thanks to Phil Johnson | 1:13 a.m. Dec. 27, 2008
Sloan called a time out and took the most over rated player in Utah Jazz history out of the game so that we could start playing team defense, and run our offense. It was almost too late when Phil motioned for Brewer to get back in the game. Thanks Phil for assisting your coach.

Does anyone know if Philly does refunds?

I know Wal Mart does

Round em up | 1:20 a.m. Dec. 27, 2008
Would someone please round up the mentally impotent, and cerebrally stunted basketball neophyte who was spewing garbage on this site yesterday about Miles not belonging in the DLeague and sit him down for a film session.

I was one of those people who didn't give them any chance to win that game -- great performance!

CJ gets trashed the most of anyone on the Jazz and yet the worst players are Korver and Harpring. They are wannabes. If Sloan could coach during the game instead of cuss and sit people down, the Jazz would be a dangerous team. What did Harp or Korver do last night, yet he plays them down the stretch. CJ will have good and bad games but the incompetent daily posts by one individual will continue. D league, give me a break.........

Great game last night. This is the way we should play every night. It was a team effort.

I agree with Miles. Why the hate directed daily at a real nice kid with lots of talent in a tough position. I think Miles is right on schedule.

Last night was one of the best team efforts I've seen this year. Everyone looked great with the exception of Korver. Last year I really thought he would be a difference maker on this team. He has turned out to be a disappointment. He is too one dimensional and inconsistant

I hope Sloan and the Mystery Blogger(The guy who writes all the neg C.J. posts who loves Krover) will finally get off this Krover kick once and for all so we can get on with REAL basketball.

Exactly what I was thinking!

Great post. I would add that Koufus is one of the top 5 players taken in the draft

Carlos who??? How many mris does it take from how many drs. Is it really that serious of an injury or is he just playing a selfish lazy attitude about playing ball. Salt Lake has some of the best hospitals and dr.s in the country. Does he go to California to hear what he wants to hear and not what is realy going on. Memo, what are back spasams so severe you can't do your job?
Hang on Paul we have faith in you and if at all possible you would be out there. The whiny so called injured players have used it to many times for us to call sympthay and hope.

I am in Dallas with family for the holiday and I was soooo happy to see my Jazz win so I could brag a bit. I worry about the team, especially these anti-Korver/Harpring comments. Points scored are such a small part of a game. I'd especially defend Harpring because of his ability to get under people's skin. If you can mess with a guy enough on the court, you can throw his shot off. It doesn't work with a guy like Kobe, but it definitely does with T-Mac. Miles and Brewer, great as they are, will never be able to bump guys like Harpring does. And, assuming Korver doesn't miss so often that other teams just leave him open, he spreads the floor. And the curling shot around the free throw that used to be Matt's and is now Kyle's is crucial for the Jazz. I wouldn't write those guys off too quickly. Go Jazz!

Jazz MAN | 10:27 a.m. Dec. 27, 2008
Our twin towers ignited some hope for this Jazz Man. I think Koufus is the real deal. Just think of all the big white guys we have drafted that didn't pan out. Finally we strike it rich on this kid.

I hate to admit it because I shelled out $75 bucks for a Kyle Korver Jersey, but in all honesty he hurts our team. He is way over utilized. Just watch the way Popovich plays his three point guns. They don't get on the floor unless they need a three to win the game, then they come out ready.

Too much is asked of Korver. He is not a regular rotation player period.

I agree with you that Harpring has a place on this team. Korver on the other hand is a 12 man who comes in to hit a three pointer. Nothing more

For all of you that are ripping on Korver, Keep in mind me got him for Gordon, I would take Korver any day, If anything he poses an outside threat, He has done a lot more good than Gordon ever did.
