They are losing alot of guys next year. BYU will win the next 3 years at least. Bronco is a much better coach, and BYU is now starting to bring in some speed. Watch out utah and enjoy the rest of this year. Because next year it is going to start getting ugly for ya. HAHAHAHAHA

Now you can understand why you take so much smack. The season is not even over and the first comment from one
of your idiot fans is to start talking how you will beat is for the next 3 years. Frankly you would be a lot better off with a few more players leaving your program, like your quarter back and a bunch of real slow guys.

BYU won't win the next three years, matter of fact you will probably lose a few more games next year and end up at 7-5. Bronco might run a good fireside but he's no where in the same League as coach Whitt.I'm betting that things remain ugly for the next 2-3 years at the Y. Bringing in speed LOL HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Utah is so overrated. They could only beat BYU by 24 points and they just lost to Arizona.

Hahahah! Ute Eater strikes again!!!

I just want to say thanks to all 18 of these young men (and the two older ones) who have given so much to the University. I wish them all the best in their future endeavors. I hope we see them doing even greater things off the field than they have accomplished this year on the field (and on the field has been fantastic).

GO UTES!

BCS is an excellent cologne when on the recruiting trail. Utah's recruiting is going very well as result of recent BCS success, something BYU would not know about. BYU fans need to keep in mind that Arizona was an average team that had it's way with you. Find a new quest next year, aside from the BCS.

Well Cubers, Hell has frozen over, and so did you last Saturday. I guess that's what happens when Utes chear for Cubers. I did the best I could. Church was pretty quiet Sunday.

One thing for sure: One team wearing crimson will win on January 2; however, the 'Bama version seems a little subdued for my taste.

I'll be in the Big Easy singing Utah Man next week! I hear that there is a ban on banjo's in N'orleans for the Sugar Bowl. That should take care of the percieved 'Bama home field advantage.
Everybody knows that N'Orleans is fiddle county.

Good luck Utes......Just remember 'Bama is just another TDS, (I mean really South), and we've had good luck with teams that share that acronym this year.

People of the High Places: 23 (3 FG's/2 TD's)
Hill People with Banjo's: 21 (3 TD's)

Thank Louie for the FG's. One will be a SB record.

GO Utes!!!!!!

Keep talking and questing cougies. I hope your players do too. We saw how well overconfidence worked for them this year! I'll be sure to send you a post card from New Orleans. BCS - its a Utah thing - you wouldn't understand.

BYU's motto next year won't be "Quest For Perfection". It will be "Quest For Interception". Also Lee Corso was doing BCS Upset Alert and he picked Utah over 'Bama.

Gooooooooooo Utes!

Fiddles and Banjos? Get real. New Orleans is Jazz on the Bayou. Think more crawfish etoufette and oyster poboy. The big easy is probably the alcohol capitol of the U.S. You have to go to the French quarter (Bourbon St.) and visit Pat O'briens and have a Hurricane. Search the bars and get yourself a Hand granade (drink) too, you won't be sorry.

Alabama is not fiddle country, you can get those images of hill people and Deliverance (filmed in Ga and Tenn.) out of your head. Akabama is the most geologically and geographically diverse state. It has Mountains, Canyons, Beaches, Swamps, Marshes,.... and more streams and rivers than any other state. You name it Alabama has it. It was the capitol of the Confederacy and the birth place of the Civil Rights movement. There is no reason to generalize culture of Alabama, just like there is no reason to think that Utah is completely comprised of Native Americans and Mormons.

P.S. There are/used to be Native Americans in Alabama too. Tuscaloosa is named for the great Indian Chief Tuskaloosa (Black Warrior) who stood 1.5' taller than the Spaniards.

Yners. We all know what the T-shirts will say next year, "The Quest For a Perfect Fireside." HAHAHAHAHA!! The Y is in a downward spiral, the fans know it, the players know it (listen to the comments of Collie and Jogensen post game). The coaches also know they can not run a decent defense with all those slow guys they have. bYu has been lucky the past couple of years with a very powerfull offense to overcome the weaknesses on the other side of the ball. If Collie leaves for NFL, you all will lose 5 games next year.

Hey Utes, you want a NC? Join a BCS conference!!! Get away from beating the bottow feeders and come out and play with the big boys. Play BAMA,LSU,Georgia or Pen State every week, not one time and done untill bowl season. Why stay in a pee wee" conference, come on and join,or the major conference not let the Utes in? What is the reason to stay in a weak conference? The Utes want the big boy titles not to earn it by playing the big boys for it each week.

This year's senior class was not the most gifted in individual talent, but they had a lot of heart and are some of the greatest leaders the program has had. When they faced adversity, they didn't try to dodge out of the way, they stood up and played till the last whistle blew.

We will miss some of them, and the others we hope to see along the sidelines in the years to come.

Good luck to Sakoda and any others that may find themselves in the next league (remember Ganther and Madsen didn't get drafted but are playing time in the NFL).

We are in good hands next year. We're glad Coach Whittingham is staying put and he is proving to be one of the greatest coaches the MWC has seen.

The cougars continue to show their fears of inadequacy when compared to the Utes by their comments on the Utah stories. That won't change and neither will their program. Expect Utah to win in another blow out next season in LES.

Talk about recruiting look at the guys BYU is bringing in next year. They are rated all across thye board better than utah. Things will be changed starting next year. Mark my words. Bronco has a better record than whit with less athletes since they have been the head coach. Wait until next year and you can see what Bronco can do with good athletes, enjoy your time now ute fans. Remember it was only a year ago you wanted whit fired now you are praising him, That is a typical ute fan. Half you ute fans didnt even know they had a team until 2004. Bandwagon fans at its best.

Apparently you don't understand much about bcs conferences. They will not let us join! That is why there is so much outrage. Utah would love to join a big name comference but they don't want to split the pot into any more pieces.
To make it worse it is hard to find big name schools (especially in the cowardly sec)that will add a decent non-bcs school to their scedule. Look at Alabama's OOC schedule for instance;tulane, w.kentucky, Ark State? And all of those at home. The last time AL played a non-bcs team on the road was in 2003. And what do you know, they LOST!! To HAWAII!! In a LAUGHER! No wonder they are afraid to play non bcs schools on the road. They aren't good enough to win. So they can just keep playing Louisiana-Monroe at home (and winning-most, but not all, of the time).

First off - Mountains in Alabama? I live here and am still looking for them. Oh you mean those hills? go to Utah to see a real mountain. Next, Utah would play any of those teams - BAMA, LSU, GA - but they don't want to play Utah. They are content on playing LA-Monroe, etc. Utah play in a good conference - Oh you mean teams like Auburn this year, and Mississippi State, Vanderbuilt and TN? Isn't TN the team Wyoming beat (at TN). Yes those real tough teams you ahve to watch out for.
Strength of schedule? Alabama? whose strength of schedule is better?.....let's see, the AP says its Utah's!
