If Idaho State opens a medical school won't it be necessary also to open a law school to produce more ambulance chasers to sue the doctors and drive up our health care costs? What are they thinking?

Actually there already is a law school in Idaho.

It is INSANELY expensive to educate future physicians in this country. Get ready to have your doctor imported from India and elsewhere.

It is short-sighted NOT to think Idaho should have a medical school. I think the University of Idaho and Boise State are against it because they oppose anything ISU does which lessens their stronghold on higher education in Idaho. ISU is the best prepared to offer a medical college. Such a college WILL help Idaho's economy and WILL keep physicians in the state. The people of Idaho should support Dr. Vailas' efforts---let's get IDAHO into the 21st Century. --a native son of Idaho now living in Iowa the home of a highly respected and successful medical college
