Salt Lake group's series will focus on race, faith

"Focus on race" seems to be another left-wing euphism for the illegal alien issue, which is not about race, but about enforcing our immigration laws. As a sovreign nation, these laws were created to control whom we allow into our country. Immigrants screened at Ellis Island had to have their documentation in order and could be productive (no freebie government handouts).
As the current financial crisis escalates we need to make sure U.S. citizens are employed. Illegal aliens only add to the poverty issue, so if this group is truly interested in decreasing poverty, they can support the enforcement of our immigration laws!

Maybe by "focus on race" they mean they'll be addressing the ignorance toward minority groups that seems so prevelent in Utah. I don't know if you were teased by a Latino classmate in third grade or something, but I don't think they're going to discuss policies so much as the way we treat minorites as individuals. I'm willing to accept, however, that when they said they're going to discuss the detrimental effects of discrimination, I misunderstood.
