Total revamp of ethics process is needed, including clear, enforceable standards prohibiting gifts and an independent body to hear abuses. Nothing will change until this is accomplished. Citizens should push lawmakers for reform in upcoming session.

One thing that I have learned from working with Speaker Clark is that he always tries to do what is best for the state. It looks like he is continuing that effort
