Free surgery | 6:49 a.m. Dec. 1, 2008
Wow - wish it was my dog and that I was the lucky owner getting free surgery for her. My dog injured her knee pretty badly and will undergo surgery tomorrow to insert a plate, for a cost of nearly $4,000. Those who love their animals and consider them a part of their family will understand why we are struggling to do this even at this cost. We did not have pet insurance for this, but we signed up for any future needs - just in case!
