November was bad month for Utah Jazz

We will be an up and down team until Boozer and AK are back in the lineup. All this talk of Milsap is the answer is just talk. Sloan needs to start walking the walk with his players and demand better defense. I think we need knight as a backup over price. Brewer and CJ have both stepped up their game in the past month. Now it's time for the rest of the players to do the same.

What happened? Virginia and I had a great time on our Cruise, but what has happened to our Jazz? Looks like they will be fighting Dallas for the 8 spot in the west.
Walk The Walk | 8:03 a.m. Dec. 1, 2008
I'm personally tired of hearing the players talk about getting better defensively. Just Do it. It's nothing more than effort after all so lets start walking the walk. End of story.

I thought that was pretty funny :]. Well not much to say except the same things we all have been saying. We need to get healthy, and play some Defence. I am not too worried yet, but if we continue to play like this throught December......we'll be in big trouble.
Seen it before | 8:50 a.m. Dec. 1, 2008
Jazz rally in the second half of the season, secure the 4th seed by winning the division although not enough wins due to some horrible losses (washington comes to mind) only this time they get bounced in the first round because they don't draw Houston. Jerry doesn't win the coach of the year award, we talk about playing better defense but it doesn't work and a major trade doesn't take place and we say next year will be our year. Football anyone? at least we have the Utes/BCS game to look forward to while the Jazz are muddling through December.

D Will needs to quit acting like an all star off the court and start acting like one on the court. I Was at the game Sat. pathetic. I am a long time Jazz fan, did not like the attitude I saw Sat.. Jazz were outclassed outplayed.
Chukar | 9:02 a.m. Dec. 1, 2008
Korver is underrated as a defensive player. He is not as athletic as some players but if all the Jazz gave the effort he does the Jazz would not have a problem stopping people.
Jazz? | 10:26 a.m. Dec. 1, 2008
What Jazz is that? Who is this Jazz? Do You mean New Orleans? That was Pistol Pete. This looks more like Pistol Whipped!
Keeth Nunly | 10:29 a.m. Dec. 1, 2008
J azz will be playing in the King Dome within 3 years. Larry Miller will not be running his companies any more and he is the only one that knows how. O'donnel has about gutted the Jazz. It is all downhill from here. How does the PUGET sound?
Heidi | 10:36 a.m. Dec. 1, 2008
Big Mac is quiting the Jazz so he can Golf more! Wade to go!

The Jazz are Good | 10:39 a.m. Dec. 1, 2008
Teams come prepared when they play the jazz, they aren't sneaking up on anyone. They usually get their opponents best, and if the jazz play average, they're going to lose. It's time for them to grow up and stop looking for gimmees. Teams take the jazz seriously. I say this, because it appears the jazz believe they can get easy wins, but that's not the case anymore. They are going to have teams that want to beat them because of their reputation. If there's someone who wants to get at you, you got to take that threat seriously; the jazz are one of the top teams in the league, it seems that everyone besides kenny smith knows that, but he must still be sore that he's the reason the rockets lost the 98 wcf; teams are coming. No easy outs for the jazz.
what? | 11:15 a.m. Dec. 1, 2008
the jazz aren't good.. the wizards got one of their two wins of the season against em. The jazz franchise is going to fold.
Jazz are done | 11:27 a.m. Dec. 1, 2008
They will be out of Utah soon! This is terrible. They will go broke. Niller upped ticket prices and now nobody will come to the games. You don't up ticket prices in a redession O'donnel!
Out of the league | 11:29 a.m. Dec. 1, 2008
Jazz are worse than the orem flashbulbs! Get out O'donnel!

Where is our all-star now? Boozer, it's a muscle pull. this is the same garbage you pulled in your first couple years with your "sore back." You get payed millions to sit on the bench in your thousand dollar suit while I play through pain for love of the game and get NOTHING! If you don't want to play here, then leave.

Still the Man | 11:57 a.m. Dec. 1, 2008
Boozer is still the man. How many players average 20 and 10? The answer is 6 and Boozer is one of them. When Williams was hurt everyone believed him but in Boozer's case, everyone doubts him. Sounds like a double standard to me.
Miles | 12:14 p.m. Dec. 1, 2008
Take off your skirts and play some basketball. Boozer's injury will not get worse if he plays. My buddy took ten stitches in a game and was back playing within 5 minutes. Another one bit off part of his tongue and finished the game. Get your skirts off and start playing. I say, stop attending the games until they do!!
re:still the man | 12:23 p.m. Dec. 1, 2008
Williams spent his offseason tryign to convince Boozer and others to stay here. Boozer spends his summers in Miami, and has not shown any desire to stay here. He's playing hard, but most players do in a contract season. If he wants the support I have for Deron he better show me he wants to be here.
I got hurt | 12:29 p.m. Dec. 1, 2008
in church ball. My leg was hanging on by an inch of skin below the leg, but I tuffened it out, and played hard. We won the game, and then my leg was amputated. This group of players have no heart, what happened to the days of malone and stockton. This ain't no daddy's jazz it the mommy's jazz now.
@Stil the Man | 12:35 p.m. Dec. 1, 2008
Double standard? People believe Williams because he didn't lie to the Cleveland Cavs and he didn't sit out a year and a half with a torn Hammy and we saw his ankle get popped in Chicago. WAKE UP BOOZE LOVER!
Apparintly | 12:47 p.m. Dec. 1, 2008
There's some problems here! The Jazz have PROBLEMS!
rattler | 12:53 p.m. Dec. 1, 2008
King Dome? Redession? Salt Palace? Leg amputated below the leg?
C'mon people, it's not that bad.

Who Are you so called Jazz fans. we are right there in the mix with all of the Western teams and we have done it with key injuries and people are complaining. Come on wait till the jazz are healthy and see how the season turns around. and to the people saying that Deron needs to quit acting like an all star what is up with that, the guy is playing through pain. he is about 85 % and had a double double in the past 3 games back and had 15 and 15 and 13 assists. Come on who else gives that kind of effort at 85% Mark my words when we are healthy which will be soon we are going to be a tough team. and for you complaining about Boozer! Did you not see the replay? OK they are smart players and know what they are capable of and you people cant tell them when or when not to come back.
People? | 1:49 p.m. Dec. 1, 2008
It sounds to me like the same person posting over and over again about Boozer. Kinda funny though.
Cappsy | 2:39 p.m. Dec. 1, 2008
until the JAzz start playing, learning defence night in night out which Sloan needs to change it won't matter in the West. Our 2nd group is better than some first groups. Either that or we need to have a defensive coach like in the NFL as an assistant. Harden up Jazz
Wilb Breth | 4:07 p.m. Dec. 1, 2008
Jazz are done they will be a nine seed this year!
Factoid | 5:28 p.m. Dec. 1, 2008
The reason the Jazz are so lame is because their fans are all U fans. I love it when they lose. Jordan for the game winner!!!!!

Interesting:
From nba.com bulls news Sam Smith, today's article (December 1, 2008).

One under the radar free agent for this summer is Utah's Paul Millsap. The thinking is the Jazz will only be able to afford to bring back Carlos Boozer, though Millsap will get a pile of their money if Boozer leaves. They'd like to keep both, which is why there always is Andrei Kirilenko rumors and speculation. One Western Conference coach told me his team prefers when Boozer plays over Millsap because Millsap is such a superior defender
