Chip on Your Shoulder:
Weber should be playing with a chip on their shoulder as they were denied a home game to a team they soundly beat.
Also, MT has been cruising ever since the first WSU game. Teams get somewhat complacent when they win 8 or so games in a row (i.e. Weber vs EWU two weeks ago). Hopefully Weber stays humble and MT comes in overly confident.
Weber wins this games with matchups - superior O-line and running game. Supperior passing game. Weber D is very solid. I predict Weber to win by 7.
Does anybody know if Weber has a fan message board? If so, what is the link or directions on where to find it.
See you in Missoula!

Fair or unfair has nothing to do with why MT got the home games. It is about dollars, MT consitently sells out every home game and has a larger stadium and that means more money for the FCS. WSU needs to consistently have great attendence. We were in the driver seat for a home game but we blew it against EW but as it turns out, it really doesn't matter where great teams play. GO CATS

Correct about attendance and $$$ for the selection committee. No problem, WSU is like the Bad News Bears, belonging to the Triple A Club:

Anybody
Anytime
Anywhere

It doesn't matter who we play, bottom line is we're still playing, and it's the 1/4 finals for the FCS.

Not too shabby for a team selected by everyone to finish 5th in the Big Sky...oh well, anyone have a good recipe for 'crow'? haha

WEBER STATE WEBER STATE

Congrat's to WSU on thumping CalPoly. You guys have a class team, Trevyn Smith is a great player and classy individual among many. The only slight is WSU's apparent lack of fan support. Watching the WSU-UM game earlier, the attendance was less than that of a UM scrimmage. Unfortunately, the griz ended up playing like it was a scrimmage after getting an early lead against you. They won't get lulled like that this weekend.

Whoever wins, either team will be a great representative for the Big Sky.
Why is the game in Montana? | 5:02 p.m. Dec. 1, 2008
What determines the homefield advantage? Why aren't they playing in Ogden?
Wildcat 50 | 6:16 p.m. Dec. 1, 2008
Grizturf,

you are absolutely right, whoever wins is going to be a great representative fo the Big Sky. the way they got the brackets is a joke. the 'powers that be' want to see appalachian vs. james madison...so obvious.

it is going to be a battle this weekend, no two ways about it, good luck to both teams on both sides of the ball.

Nothing else matters to WSU outside of this week with Montana. WSU does not care where or who they play. They are about production and the final result.
Grizzlies are going down!! | 10:02 p.m. Dec. 1, 2008
Doesn't matter that the game is in Montana. The Cats know they can beat them and this will be the biggest win in Weber Football history! We will be watching the Cats on ESPN in the Semifinals baby!

WEBER STATE, WEBER STATE, GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!!

The Griz in Ogden, and the Griz in W/G stadium are two different animals. The loss to Weber was the wakeup call the Griz needed. Should be a great game.
Either team will be a great rep. Play well and hope no one gets hurt. Welcome to Montana.
oh really? | 4:19 p.m. Dec. 2, 2008
