America could have done better!
Obama cannot control her - and she will represent herself - NOT the president, NOT the US, but herself.
Shoving Hilary to the world is NOT the Obama "change" the world deserved.
Moderates, huh? I'm beginning to wonder who won the election--the Democrats or the Republicans. So far, it looks like the Repulicans.
Oh well, maybe we can take heart. Maybe he won't be quite as bad as we all feared.
Govenor Huckabee won big in Iowa. Coming into South Carolina, the conservative vote was split between Fred Thompson and Mike Huckabee. That split enabled John McCain to win SC.
Both Florida and Michigan failed to register on time for the DNC's deadline. Therefore, Democrats who would have voted in those primaries instead voted in open Republican primaries. That's how McCain won Florida and Romney won Michigen. Republicans voted for Huckabee, and Democrats continued to vote for McCain and Romney in open primaries.
Although McCain tried to whooo the base with Palin, his determination to silence her and then run his campaign to the left of Obama angered many conservatives who then refused to vote - period. After his defeat, McCain and Leiberman ran back to Harry Reid.
Bottem line: let's keep Republican Primaries closed to only Republicans.
I'm sure it's hard to deal with having to run against someone who is better looking, richer, smarter and has a "perfect" family. Huckabee behaved in a way that was small and nasty. I lost a lot of respect for him and it's going to take a lot to get it back.
Remember, Herr Propaganda Mister Limbaugh telling his conservatives followers to march lockstep to the polls to vote in democratic primaries for Clinton? This was "Operation Chaos," to subvert the American electoral process.
"Limbaugh conspiratorially calls the tactic, Operation Chaos.
He began urging his listeners to vote for Clinton in the run-up to the March 4 nominating contests in Texas and Ohio after it was apparent John McCain would easily secure the Republican nomination. Limbaugh explained to fellow conservative talk radio host Laura Ingraham on Fox News on March 29, I want our party to win. I want the Democrats to lose. They're in the midst of tearing themselves apart right now. It is fascinating to watch, and it's all going to stop if Hillary loses.
Weeks before the swearing in of Obama, we can see the fruits of Limbaugh's logic. There are his listeners, who have been being duped, are now being duped and will keep on being doped. Life deduced to being one of Limbaugh's fools.
"Inmate A to M will change their underwear with inmates N to Z."
Welcome to the Obama-nation where change is whatever we want it to mean. Same-o-same-o fits his bill. Gullible Obamaites let his vacuous rhetoric be filled in with whatever delusional images they had in their wee bitty minds and said that was what Obama believed in. He's a painted sepulcher.
Reality bites and it will bite Obamaites hard when, two years from now 1) the economy is still in recession and hearing "it's Bush's fault" have wearied even the Bush haters, 2) 125,000 troops are still in Iraq because... they have to be! 3) Another terrorist strike somewhere is causing an upheaval and we're rattling our swords and talking tough about getting them. 4) Bin Laden is still being protected by the Pakis.
Now who to blame...
Welcome to the United Socialist States of North America.
I'd like to see another national poll showing the "no confidence in his decisions and he hasn't taken office yet." Boy what fun the next 4 very long years have in store for us.
Thank you, Sarah Palin and Saxby Chambliss. This will be a sweet victory. Ha ha, B. Hussein Obama. Before the end of the night, this Running Ute will catch a case of Bulldog fever!
