HEY UNLV.....what's happened to your great basketball team destined for even greaterness (?). Lost two in a row, and by 18 at home. Would a great team, even in a loss on their own floor, loose by 18? Come on, lets hear the excuses.
I won't repeat what the last guy said--but amen.
Example: BYU was an #8 seed in both the 2007 and 2008 tourneys, getting beat by the #9 (lower) seed both times.
What do you mean that BYU doesn't think of the games as being life-or-death or that there's more to life after college...what? that no one from any other school would take such an approach? And BYU is above such pride? Didn't BYU's best player leave last year as a junior to play ball in Europe(couldn't crack the NBA)?
I will agree that while Shawn Bradley's career has been less than ambitious, Danny Ainge will go down as the one of the most absurdly competitive dudes ever to play the game.
And which college team did he play for?
--The one with the eternal perpective.
Oh, wait a minute, I think Hall just threw another pick! Don't worry, we'll send you a postcard from our BCS game and don't spend the money we send you all in one place.
BYU 67 Utah 59 - 2/20/08
BYU 55 Utah 52 - 1/9/08
BYU 85 Utah 62 - 3/3/07
BYU 76 Utah 66 - 1/31/07
Four in a row and counting. I have already purchased my seats for the game at the Huntsman Center this year. It's fun watching BYU beat Utah in Provo, but even more fun beating them in Salt Lake.
I wonder when the Red Clad Runnin' Ute fans will begin bailing on their team this year. Probably with about 12 minutes to go in the BYU game. I can't wait.
BYU won its last tournament game in 1992. Since then, the Utes have won sixteen (16) Tournament games.
Ouch!
Southwest Baptist is the ONLY thing you can say. You were no match in football and have yet to play anybody in basketball. Have fun now, after Sat, it will all come crashing down. Oh.. but you will still have your home streak, too scared to play a "one and one" scenario with the AGGies.
