Give Millsap more minutes to play, and let him show that Jazz will be just fine without Boozer. He is moving to Miami anyway, please trade him, with Collins, to somewhere, and get a defensive mind players back. Is Kaman available?

I completely agree. I say Booze for Kaman. Okur always plays better when Booze is not in the line up. Our defense is better, adding Kaman to the line up as well will give us defensive toughness down in the post.

We seem to be doing just fine with the Milsap Stud. He's a beast around the basket. Also we play better this year without Korver in the lineup. He's taking minutes away from a couple of guys that can really play. Mo,C.J.

Trade Boozer | 8:25 a.m. Nov. 27, 2008
I think Boozer will definitely bolt to Miami or another team when his contract expires so I think the Jazz should trade him and get something in return while they still can. Kaman would be a good fit because he's a fighter and much better defender than Boozer. Give Milsap Boozer's minutes. He's a beast and i think he's playing so much better this year than he did last year.

Just like I called it. The "trade Boozer" rants would come out of the woodwork today. Boozer puts up those numbers every night. Milsap is fine against some teams but Boozer does it every night (that is when he isn't hurt!!). You do have a point that our defense is better without him. Maybe that is because he doesn't play any when he is on the court.

We had to put up 117pts to pull it out last night. Our defense stunk!

Hey Miles, I'm very proud of you. You didn't mention CJ once.

I do question how bad we really need Boozer. It does seem like we have guys who can step in and fill those minutes pretty well, and they play defense. Booz is a great offensive player but he hurts the team defensively. I keep hoping we'll see a real defensive commitment from him and a few less silly fouls.

Even Boozer does not match up that well with SA and LA. SAP does well against weak competition but he is not match for the big front lines that have to be beaten in the playoffs. He is great on the second team.

I do not know of a good PF we could rent this year for cheap. However, Mutumbo (defensive C who can rebound and score a little)is available and he can play 15 minutes a night when it counts. Further, he would like a ring.

To bad Fez does not get his act together. We could really use him and his rebounding. I am not sure how K2 is coming along. He needs a few minutes of game time to get into the flow and needs good players on the floor with him to score, rebound and block.

Maybe by the playoffs K2 or Fez will be able to help. Almond can shoot but his defense is suspect.

Watch the game. We didn't need 117 points. The score has nothing to do with the effort that was put forth. There were a lot of junk points down the stretch for the Grizzlies. Our defense was fantastic.

Millsap has not put up boozer type numbers. Boozer is consistant, he averaged 20 and 10 last year millsap scores twenty a couple of times and you all flip out on how great he is, no offense to millsap but who has he done so great on? Memphis. don't get to excited i remind you that boozer has put up the numbers on good teams. 36 on the rockets (Ming, Dekembe, Battier)for example. millsap is going to have to do allot better to get my vote.

You gotta understand the Milsap JUST started getting Boozer type minutes. Since he started getting the minutes he has put up a double double practically every game. No I am not preaching that Milsap>Boozer or anything. But if he is going to bolt to another team, we should think about actually getting something in return. I think Milsap has been playing fantastic in his stead though and is obviously up to the challenge.

Boozer for Iverson wont need defense then, and 117 points will be an off night

trade booz to miami for marion and win a ring! besides, millsap does better against the lakers than booz. dwill looked about 75% last night and was still the man. brewer is becoming something incredible. -roll one for the jazz-
Jerbone | 5:50 p.m. Nov. 27, 2008
With Milsap you have the DEFENSE, to get off the the Booze.
GoodGuyGary | 5:51 p.m. Nov. 27, 2008
One simple question: will Boozer stay in Utah beyond this year? If the answer is yes, then keep him. If the answer is no, trade him while we still can. Do't forget to pack him with Collins (expiring contract), we can get a better guy, like Kaman.
USA BABY! | 7:53 p.m. Nov. 27, 2008
I wouldn't have Kaman on the place! He had a miserable showing in the Olympics after having been issued a German Passport to play for Germany, which even his own father dissed him for. Besides, he can't come close to what Booz brings to the Jazz. Never has , never will. What nonsense!
GoodGuyGary | 1:13 a.m. Nov. 28, 2008
USA? Come on, if that is the case, half of the Jazz team should be gone than. K2 is Greek, Memo is Turkish, AK is Russian, Millsap is Louisianaian, and Collins is...
