So What? | 4:30 a.m. Nov. 28, 2008
It's time for the networks to get rid of those phony reality shows that are really un-reality. They are not entertaining at all, I'd rathere watch re-runs of charlies angels than any of those poorly directed reality shows. TV entertainment has turned to junk, even the Jay Leno and all the other night time talk shows are nothing more than promotionals for new movies, animal zoos, and trashy rock bands. Then there is the commercial time, 60% of the air time. It would nice to be able to watch some entertainment on televison again.

The on screen clutter drove us away from network television. The animated "snipes" and other pop-ups drive us crazy, as does the constant pimping of other programming, full time, on-screen next to the increasingly huge network logos. We are watching more DVDs and much less network television because of it.

With NBC struggling with their shows it would be the perfect opportunity to put Criminal Intent back on its schedule as soon as USA airs it next year, it has shown good ratings for the cable network and with SVU showing a slight decline putting the original three Law&Order shows back on NBC where they have a track record for viewers would please its many fans who can't get the USA network.

We never watch any of those shows and don't plan to watch their revamped schedule not the new Rosie O'Donnel show. Even "Biggest Loser" is not as reality as real. One hour of that would be enough! We will continue to enjoy reruns of Little House on the Prarie, Perry Mason, and shows like that if we feel the urge to indulge.
Save Eli Stone | 10:06 a.m. Nov. 28, 2008
Please Save Eli Stone and Pushing Daisies!!!!

I agree with most of the comments here. We watch DVD's and old VHS's. You can get old VHS's pretty cheap at Deseret Indeustries and other thrift stores. I will not be watching any TV until they get some more family friendly shows on.
Pushing Daisies rules! | 10:58 a.m. Nov. 28, 2008
I love that show! It's actually the only network show we watch. Why do they cancel quirky, original things? Why another dance/big brother/survivor/law and order show? Perhaps the ones left watching TV have that mentality. They've driven the rest of us away.

Daisies was not skummy enough, I enjoy that show. I also enjoy Dancing with the Stars, but doing two of them is a bit much. But then those good ole Stars, they just think they are so entertaining, I prefer watching the pros, not the stars. Some of the stars were a big joke this season, and it is annoying to watch people who can't dance, but think that they can.
The best show on TV... | 11:56 a.m. Nov. 28, 2008
... is Pushing Daisies. It's colorful, smart, romantic, sexy, conflicted and very well-written. In other words, it's going to be cancelled. I think it is the best show since Northern Exposure. I hope it can be saved!
The reason why..... | 12:19 p.m. Nov. 28, 2008
The reason why "Pushing Daisies" will soon be 'pushing daisies' is you can only expect a program (in this day and age) with the lead roles being celibate for so long.

KEEP ELI STONE! | 2:02 p.m. Nov. 28, 2008
Please don't take my Eli away!
yeah they need to revamp | 2:03 p.m. Nov. 28, 2008

I can't remember when I turned on Channel 4 (abc) for anything.

I agree | 8:18 p.m. Nov. 28, 2008
with most everyone on here. TV is just plain boring anymore. Even on cable, they play the same things over and over and over again. Nothing original; or at least very little. Networks think their shows have to have sex and dirty words to sell... all the original stuff gets taken away. it is too too sad that they have no good sense of what good people would really like to see. less sex and dirty words and more family fun fare...

My wife and I joke every new season, that if we as a family like the show it will be dropped and so goes Eli and Daisy two intelligent and often morale programs.

Trash always rules the day. ANd with ABC and Disney it seems it can always be counted on to be the trashiest and have the most overtly promiscuous of all the networks. I can't figure out why they can't figure it out. "Hey look no one watches our channel, the more trashy we make it the fewer watch, let make it even more trashy, it does not seem to work but hey lets try it every year, eventually the lewd, deprived, perverse and lurid ought to catch on!"

Walt would be ashamed, and the Disney/ABC Execs should all be fired. Or perhaps they will enjoy fires of another kind another day...

I really like Crusoe. Sad that it's probably on the way out.

Yes - "ELI STONE" must stay...

That show is one of the few sane
and imaginative shows left.

If you want some real quality TV
detective action...

...see NBC's "LIFE"

I really hope that they do not cancel Pushing Daisies! It is one of my favorite shows that I tune into every week. It is very sad that smart, creative shows cannot stay on the air!
Keep the shows! | 1:42 p.m. Dec. 22, 2008
Eli Stone, Pushing Daisies, and Crusoe should stay! I've been into Eli Stone and Pushing Daisies from the beginning and I have loved every episode. Now my newfound obsession is with Crusoe, every episode is original and new! People say that is has no plot, but there are only eight episodes out! GIVE IT A CHANCE PEOPLE!
